Jing Yichen’s grip around Shangguan Ning’s waist tightened.

He couldn’t believe what he had just heard!

They were married for a month, and he had been trying so hard to not touch her. How dare she talk of divorce?

Who else would love her like he did?

“I hope to never hear these words from your mouth ever again.” Tiger had just pulled in to Landscape Compound. Yichen carried her into the elevator and all the way home, despite her protests and struggles.

He looked more attractive when he dominated her. As soon as they got home, he laid her on the bed and stripped off his coat.

He leaned forward to kiss her, yet she dodged him and turned her head away.

She looked into his eyes and spoke her mind, “I know that no one will ever love me like you do. I’m so lucky to have met you. There’s one thing I want you to know, though, and that is if you love someone else in your heart, I will not hesitate for a moment, before giving you up, no matter how amazing you are.”

“Maybe I’m too old fas.h.i.+oned, but for me trust and loyalty are the foundations of any relations.h.i.+p. My marriage has to have both. Love is important, of course, but that will come later. I will never be able to be the third wheel in someone else’s relations.h.i.+p. That, to me, is betrayal and it is unacceptable.”

Her eyes were the windows to her soul and Jing Yichen could see how wounded and insecure she felt at this moment.

Ning wasn’t aware of what had come over her. How had she become so possessive and sensitive? She couldn’t help thinking that the relations.h.i.+p between Yichen and that lady wasn’t a platonic one.

She wasn’t like this before. Xie Zhuojun had had many friends. Many of them were women, who would hug him or even flirt with him. Sometimes, even in her presence. Even then, nothing made her doubt their relations.h.i.+p. She knew that Xie Zhuojun was good looking, and it was normal for girls to shower him with attention. The same logic applied to Jing Yichen. Why then, could she not come to accept it?

Hearing her say these words, made Jing Yichen forget his exasperation.

“Ning, do you know you are being jealous? My research told me that you were in a relations.h.i.+p before, but maybe I need to do a new research now, because I don’t think that you have any experience in relations.h.i.+ps.”

He started to kiss her. He basked in being the centre of her attention. “But, baby, your way of being jealous is not correct. It has been so ferocious and fierce that I have become scared.” He said as he raised his eyebrows in a self-mocking and helpless way. “I haven’t been scared for a long time, and this feeling is quite incredible for me.”

“In the future, you can scold me or swear at me, but never ever mention that word. There should be a limitation with jealousy. You can’t just leave me because someone sow dissension between us.”

He then proceeded to unb.u.t.ton the next b.u.t.ton. He could now see the outline of her voluptuous b.r.e.a.s.t.s.

Shangguan Ning moved away from him. She covered her chest in annoyance and embarra.s.sment. She glared at him. “I am not jealous! You are wrong!”

Jing Yichen didn’t argue with her anymore. He hugged her and pacified her, “Alright, alright, I am wrong. You are not jealous. I am the jealous one, and I have been this way, for a long time.”

He kissed her once more. The hand she had used to cover her modesty, was now holding on to him as he kissed her deeper. When his lips touched her skin, she couldn’t help but s.h.i.+ver.

“You’re hopeless. Move away from me now,” she said, blus.h.i.+ng.

Jing Yichen caught her hands, and sucked on her clavicle, until she had a hickie. He brought his face up to her, so that the tips of their noses touched. “Aren’t you enjoying this?” he asked, charmingly.

“No, I’m not!”– she said without thinking.

Jing Yichen wasn’t the kind to give up easily. He bit her lips until she cried in pain. “You will begin to like it soon”

“But I don’t like it now. Let go of me. You are making me uncomfortable!”– screamed s.h.a.gguan Ning.

Jing Yichen rolled her over and propped her up, so that she was on top of him. Shangguan Ning thought to take this opportunity and run away when his large hands pressed her down tightly.

“Strip me now, quickly!”

Shangguan Ning had never met anyone who could be so naughty and so suave, all at once.

She wasn’t one to fall for his seductive behaviour. How could she forget that he married her in China, whilst keeping a lover abroad. Why should she allow him to touch her?

She pinched him hard and when he was distracted for a few seconds, making his loosen his grip. She took the opportunity and moved away from him.

She had hardly taken any steps yet, when he grabbed her from behind and pressed her against the wall.

Jing Yichen asked her, “And where do you think you are going?”

Unable to struggle, Shangguan Ning said spitefully, “I am leaving, so you and your lover can live in peace!”

“Oh G.o.d!’ thought Jing Yichen. This woman was still stuck to the same nonsense.

He then held her close and whispered in her ears, “I have never been good at professing my feelings for anyone, but now I have no other choice. Baby, you and only you, are the one for me. There was no one before you, and there will be no one after you. Please don’t worry about me betraying you. That will never happen. The woman I got back from America is very important to me. I can give her anything she wants, except for my heart. My marriage to you was not a spur-of-the-moment decision. It is a promise that I intend to honour, for the rest of my life.”
