Perhaps, it was fate that brought them together and made him as his brother in place of Leo. Mikhail was his senior in the university they attended in France and he was as cold and aloof person as is now.

He never changed. His golden irises were the most unique of him and his sun burnt skin made him more distinct and it was also the reason why he was ostracized by most of the students in the university but then, he did not care. He remained unfeeling of the countless jeers and bas.h.i.+ng. He was the type of person that did not care until and unless it was one of his friends that were implicated.

Lyndon had a sickly body and he also wore that thick gla.s.ses to correct his eyesight which made him look like a dork. He was always subjected to bullying like back when he was still in country P. He was numb by the countless jeers by the people around him as they could not hurt him but one day, it was witnessed by Mikhail on how he was badly bullied but he didn't retaliate at all.

This made the man fume in anger and then he beat the bullies and declared that from that day on, they were sworn brothers.

"If anyone will bully him, will be beaten by me so don't ever think about it! Now scram!!!" he roared out to the bullies.

He could remember the face of him that day that was covered with bruises and cuts as he brawled by five men with himself alone.

Lyndon arrived at the pool side and sat on the empty table. He stared at the clear waters of the pool as he reminded of the past.

"Care for a drink?" a husky voice came from his behind and walked over to where he sat and occupied the chair across him while placing the bottle of wine with the two gla.s.ses on the table.

"Sure..." Lyndon's voice sounded so happy.

"So... how have you been?" Mikhail asked as he poured the wine to the two wine goblets and handed him the other after.

Mikhail and Lyndon clinked their gla.s.ses and they sipped and savored the wine.

Lyndon placed the goblet first on the table with half of the wine remained before speaking.

"I'm good... Now, I have two kids..." Lyndon boasted as he knew that the man did not have the same progress as he did.

With this, Mikhail smirked.

"Stop boasting... I will get there too..." Mikhail glanced at him while downing his wine in one go.

"I know... but then by that time, I have an additional of two..." then Lyndon laughed heartily. Mikhail raised his brows upon hearing this.

"Ohh... so you plan on making Misha a full time wife?"

"No... It's just my selfish thoughts... Don't mind me..." Lyndon became silent and grabbed the wine goblet and downed the remaining wine in his gla.s.s in one go.

Mikhail smirked again and poured some wine to Lyndon's gla.s.s.

"So... Have you met Kyler King already?"

They cllinked their gla.s.ses once again and sipped the wine.

"No... I'll be meeting him tomorrow night though... with our mother..." Lyndon answered him with honesty and he could not keep a single secret from him though.

"So, you... how have you been?" Lyndon could not help but ask.

"Doing the same thing and I'll be reclaiming the country L soon. It seems that they forgot who was the real owner of that country..." Mikhail deepened his gaze on the red wine on his gla.s.s before he raised it. It looked like blood under the moon which added to its allure and beauty.

"Then I'll wish you luck..." Lyndon finished his wine. "Ohhh... That old man was in the usual place... as promised. Say hi to Belle for me... and if she wants I can always arrange things for her. I know she's been hating herself for doing that to us but then... I know she had her reasons and anyway, we forgave her already. She's being missed by her mother and I know that they should have a long talk..."

Lyndon walked away from the pool side coolly. He knew that Belle is just around the corner listening to them so he deliberately said those things for her to hear.

Which was clearly heard by the woman herself.

Tears rolled down from her eyes after hearing such words from the man she wanted to kill. She also knew that those words were genuine which also made her heart ache.
