Mend My Broken Heart 17 Owed Me One

Richard was on the lobby as Duke said.

The receptionist called Duke's office to inform him that someone named Richard Morell came looking for Misha. Her best friend told the receptionist to let him wait because she's on her way to get him.

Misha is walking gracefully towards the man who is busy looking at her photos. It was her debut photos. "Richard!" she called out the man. The man s.h.i.+fted his gaze in her. He suddenly stared at the woman across her.

She had perfect curves. She's not too thin and not fat either. She had long slender arms and long smooth legs. Her face is only his palm size and her hair is like a smooth silk flowing down towards her waist. Her beautiful eyes blinked at him waiting for his answer. Misha is wearing a halter dress which showcased her beautiful body perfectly. He couldn't believe that she was the same woman who beat him and sent him home battered.

'She's still so beautiful.' he secretly admired her in his heart.

"Yes! It's been so long." he said smiling at her. His pearl like teeth are showing. "Two years had already pa.s.sed." he added. He couldn't get his gaze off with Misha.

"It is indeed." Misha smiled at him sweetly. He heard his heart skipped a beat.

"So, how have you been?" she asked.

"Good! I've been doing good since then. I even succeeded my father's company." he said humbly. "What about you?"

"I've been good also, I've been busy with my career and my wedding preparations." she answered. She included her wedding in her answer because she noticed Richard's hungry stare at her.

"Wow! Who's the lucky guy?" he asked. He's shaken by the fact that she's engaged now. He wanted to court her. He had been infatuated by her since the time he knew she's not an ordinary woman.

"Nah, he's just an ordinary office guy." she shrugged.

What would Lyndon will say if he heard he's been demoted like that?

"You must really love him." he said feeling dejected.

"Of course I do! Why would I marry him if I don't, right? she answered rhetorically. Her face involuntarily twitched.

How can she lie without even batting an eyelid?

He smiled and said. "Right. That's good then." his spirit began to deplete.

"Ohh, by the way, why are you here? Is there something I can help you with?" she asked him.

He raised his head and gazed intensely at Misha.

"You owed me one match remember?"

"Yeah, I remember!" she said exclaiming. "How can I even forgot such a thing." but she really did forgot about it. She's been too occuppied for her revenge.

"I am on the area so, I thought I should drop by. I'll go to master's dojo then. I haven't seen that old man for a very long time." he said and walked towards the gla.s.s exit.

When Richard left, she sighed for relief. It's been like on the hot seat and was thrown with difficult questions. It had such an effect to her. She sat at the sofa on the lobby as she stared at the man's back until it vanished from her sight.

Sat.u.r.day morning came.

Misha is at the center of the dojo with her legs crossed and her arms were placed on top of it. She had her eyes closed and feel the environment. She's been doing this to concentrate.

Light footsteps are fast approaching towards her. She suddenly opened her eyes and got up with a wooden sword with her. She's been practicing kendo now. Her grandpa as always is the one who's teaching her. She advanced her right foot and swing her wooden sword towards to the owner of the footsteps. It was Richard. He dressed himself with the robes for taekwondo. He's been warming up and heard that Misha is inside. He lightened his footsteps not to disturb her but to his surprise, he was almost hit by the wooden sword she's holding.

As Misha thought, Richard requested to challenge her. She couldn't refuse and she will not be defeated easily. She removed her helmet and placed it aside along with her wooden sword. She's a black belt in taekwondo and so as Richard.

Richard was about to throw a kick on her but he was already sent flying towards the side of the dojo. Misha's quick action startled him but that doesn't mean she will be able to pull it off the second time around. He was about to strike her again but he was sent flying, again. Richard became irritated by the fact that Misha beat him again, he resulted in a different tactic. He suddenly grab Misha's waist and pulled her in. Misha blocked his chest with her two arms. She was startled by the mans action.

"Let me go." she said while protesting . Instead of loosening his grip, he pulled her even more. Resulting to almost of their face clash with each other. She can now smell Richard's breath. Meanwhile, Richard is intoxicated with Misha's scent.

They've been in a staring contest and not noticing a tall mans sharp gaze towards them. After a while, a clearing of throat they heard. They both looked at the door and saw the old man with Lyndon who has been shooting daggers at the blond man who embraced his wife.

Misha immediately freed herself from Richard's embrace. She panicked and ran towards Lyndon. She had seen through him. He's angry. But why?
