Lyndon wanted to find out the truth about Mary so that he could ease Misha's mind. Mary had been working for him for almost ten years and truthfully, he did not investigated her thoroughly. He never once thought that Mary could do any harm to his family. As he was sorting out the files of his employees to examine, he purposely chose Mary's portfolio. He wanted to know what is her true origins and if she's connected to his older brother.

As he read the report, the dimmer his face got. He connected his dots and found a connection to Leonard. During all this time, Mary had been his eyes in his family and he was so blind about all of it.

He must not let Mary knew that he knew her connection to Leo or else, his twins would be in a dire situation.

Mary was originally from country S and has been trafficked by the pirates during the time she travelled with her parents across the globe. He was rescued by Leo and gave her the name Mary. He also the one who gave her the information about him and Misha. He also learnt that Leo is in country X all this while, building his forces to strike him down. He knew that he already left the underworld and everything has do with it but he would not feel at ease learning all of this information. Mikhail is one of his sworn brothers and he knew that he would lend his hand if the underworld is involved.

He could not put Misha and his children's safety in jeopardy. He must protect their family with all his might and means even it meant walking back to that dark world again.

As he continued to read Mary's profile, he could not help but clench his hand and gritted his teeth out of sheer anger. He could not believe that Mary could do things like that to them. She was like his sister. He treated them nicely during their stay at France and got this in exchange of his kindness

for them.

As for now, he would not do anything to her in order not to alert more of Mary's companions. He will just in the sidelines but he will not sit still knowing that she will be the one who's taking care of his children.

What he needed now is an intricate plan to lure Leonard in and make him stop with whatever his plans are. He wanted to explain as to why he did that thing to him years ago. It was for him to be saved and continue living in this world and only for himself. He knew that Leonard might not understand it but he did it for him and not for any selfish reasons. He's willing to be the devil and be hated by him as long as he could live well and alive.

He maybe alone but he knew some of his movements. They concealed the truth to their mother to avoid any complications. They knew that Rodora loved Leo and Lyndon but it might be the cause of any accident that will lead to their doom.

They left him to an organization and from then on, he was given a new ident.i.ty and a new life far from the Lincolns. He was casted aside like a garbage and a broken toy. He was shot near to his heart. It was only an inch away and the bullet would pierce it through. Lyndon made sure that he would not die and just in time to be saved by the organization.

They went to various countries as they traveled by sea in a cargo s.h.i.+p. He was operated and survived in the s.h.i.+p too.

When they were in the waters of country S, they encountered a s.h.i.+pwreck containing a container full of women. The s.h.i.+p was about to sink down to the ocean bed but they saved the women inside it. One of it was Mary.

When he first saw her, she was full of cuts and bruises but what amazed him more was her unyielding eyes. He could not forget those hatred-filled eyes while staring at the vast ocean. She was a member of the royal family in country S but she was abducted by pirates and planned to sell her to the underground auction as a s.e.x slave.

She was truly grateful to Leonard that time because he was the one who saved her in the brink of insanity. She was about to lose herself because of the humiliation she suffered under those barbaric men. She could not forget how she screamed and pleaded not to touch her but they paid no heed and continued their way in her.

She was only one of the women they rescued and was given a new ident.i.ty and life under the organization.
