"I am out of town. I took a leave of absence from work." Cedric looked at Yuki.

"I understand. May I speak to the girl if you do not mind?" The girl asked.

Yuki took the phone, "h.e.l.lo?

"Good evening, I am Eva. I just wanted to congratulate and thank you. You may not understand this but Cedric has struggled to find the right girl for centuries. I have been with him for almost two-hundred years. I never intended to marry him and I am married to another. I only kept helping Cedric because the s.e.x was good but also because I did not want him to be lonely." Eva spoke gently to Yuki.

"I understand. Congratulations to you. It is nice that there was someone that cared about Cedric and was by his side when he needed it the most. I will not betray him. My name is Yuki." She looked at the phone.

"Yuki, I will leave him in your care. I would like to meet you when you are back from your holidays. I will see what I have available." Eva smiled and touched her belly.

"I believe that we will be back sometime on Monday next week." She looked at Cedric and saw him nod.

"Okay, I will see what day I will have time. I will bid you a farewell until we meet sometime next week." Eva hung up and the phone.

"Do you need me to go with you, love?" Eva's partner looked at her with deep affection in his eyes.

"No, it will be alright. It is not like this was a secret from anyone. I will be okay to go alone." Eva smiled.

"Alright. I will only be a call away if you need me." He smiled and bowed to her.

Yuki looked at Cedric and gave him back his phone. "You had a forbidden relations.h.i.+p?"

"Ah, Eva got married after we started fooling around. I always knew that she loved another and that made the chase more exhilarating but in the end her partner let her do as she pleased due to their status difference." Cedric explained to Yuki. "He was her Butler. So she used me as a cover to see him. I played along and she helped me out so it worked out for everyone. She in the end married the butler. I stopped calling her over as often. I may have desires but I still have some morals." He took the phone and found the next number.

"You were a great scapegoat." Claude sighed and finally finished cooking all the fish. He got started on the shrimp next.

Sephira took the cooked crabs to the kitchen sink and added more to the water. "That is actually kind of sweet. I did not think that you would do something like that."

"When she came to me distressed, I offered to help her when we were in her limousine. I told Connor that he wanted to know what would happen to join us in the back. Connor was a butler at the time and he joined us in the back and I nearly killed her but I was able to stop. So I made a deal that if he was okay with me doing this to her that I would cover for them and that they could have a loving relations.h.i.+p. I called her over once a month but I told Connor to use my name every time they went on a date." Cedric shrugged and pushed dial for the next number.

Yuki calmed down and nodded her head.

Claude smiled and thought about it. "Eva was a good lady and she was actually grateful to Cedric. If I did not know her situation I would've called Cedric a homewrecker but it was for everyone's benefit. Cedric changed the calling out to once every six months and they no longer had s.e.x. He treated her to a fancy dinner with her husband there."

"Claude," Cedric said this in a warning tone. The phone rang and rang.

The girl picked up. "No." And hung up the phone.

Cedric chuckled and dialled it again once the call went through, "If you hang up on me again I will tell your secret."

She froze and looked at the number, "Ahhhhh, I am so sorry. I have been getting prank calls all night. Sorry, Cedric."

"Prank calls? Do you need help again?" Cedric glanced up at Claude.

"Yes, No… maybe. I am not sure but you did a good job of hiding me. What can I do for you this morning?" She said through the phone.

"Come to the pier in an hour. I'll come chat with you and move you to a different location. I will prepare a new phone for you." Cedric let out a sigh.

"Okay, I will pack up and see you at the pier." She quickly hangs up the phone.

"Yes, this one is in town. Yuki, come with me to prepare a new phone for her." Cedric dropped his phone and teleported them outside a phone shop.

"Is she in danger?" Yuki looked at Cedric.

"Yes, I saved her from a supernatural stalker and keep her moving when he finds her. Next, he will come to the house. So every six months she moves." Cedric places Yuki on the ground. "So as payment she lets me have her way with her body. She's not interested in guys and only loves girls. I don't know how she even got a male stalker in the first place." He opened the door and held it open for Yuki to go inside.

Yuki stepped into the store. She looked at the many phones and cases on the wall. She was looking at a case that caught her eye. She touched the phone case and saw that it would match the phone that Cedric gifted to her. It was black and navy blue with pale blue roses in cl.u.s.ters on it.

Cedric picked up the case and added it to the pile. "I will take this case as well as these sim cards and this new phone."
