Binx blinks in confusion before looking at me like I've lost my d.a.m.n mind. "Are you sure you're okay? You're acting... off." He says looking me up and down. I bite my lip and tighten my fists as I say "I think I need a drink..."

I leave the coffee and head straight for my alcohol with shaking hands. I pull out a gla.s.s and take a shot as Kian appears behind me. I turn around and ask "Did you find anything?" Kian looks to the alcohol then back to me with concern before asking "Are you okay?"

I nervously bite my lip as I silently nod my head and say "Yeah, totally. Did you find anything?" He continues to look at me with concern as he says "Nothing but there isn't much to go on. Things about Dragons are rare and often hidden."

Binx jumps up on the counter behind Kian and says "She's acting... odd." Kian turns to glance at Binx before looking back to me and asking "What's going on?" I narrow my eyes on Binx before leaning against the counter and taking a large drink of the strong alcohol.

My eyes burn a little as I start pouring myself another gla.s.s. I start looking around the house as I sip on my second gla.s.s and say "You know... I feel like the house could use a change. What do you think?"

Kian and Binx look at me with confusion and concern before saying "Uh... sure? I guess... it's your house." I slightly smirk as I walk past them both and come to a stop in the living room. I look around the living room with a growing smile and say "I've always thought about putting in more windows and maybe a second floor..."

I drink the rest of the alcohol before throwing the gla.s.s into the wall. It shatters into a million pieces as Kian and Binx come running in with confusion. Binx looks to the mess then back to me and demands "What the h.e.l.l is going on? What's wrong with you!?"

Kian tries to walk over to me but I push his hands away and say "Don't touch me... Either one of you." Binx's tail swishes back and forth with a slight twitch as Kian says "What's going on, dollface? Talk to me...."

I slightly chuckle as I point at him and say "Don't call me that! Only he can call me that!" Kian looks at me with utter confusion and panic before trying to walk to me again but I quickly step back and put my hand out.

"Do not think I won't kill you, you piece of s.h.i.+t," I say between clenched teeth. Kian looks at me with growing despair as he says "Talk to me! Tell me what's wrong. What happened?" Binx nervously paces back and forth as he says "I told you she's acting odd!"

I reach for my magic and cover my hand in blue flames. Kian nervously looks to my hand then back to me before saying "Eris, calm down and talk to me. Whatever's happened, we'll figure it out." I bitterly laugh before slamming my hand down and igniting the floor.

Binx hisses and s.h.i.+fts to his familiar form as Kian clenches his teeth and steps back. "Eris! d.a.m.nit! What the h.e.l.l are you doing!?" I look up to the two of them as the blue flames surround me from every angle and say "What the h.e.l.l am I doing?"

I slowly stand up as the flames quickly catch the entire living room on fire. I feed the fire with my magic as I look to him and say "I don't know who or what the h.e.l.l you are but playtime's over." Kian's face twists in frustration and fear as the fire continues to push him back.

"Eris! Please!" he says stumbling back. I grit my teeth and put power into my voice as I yell out "ENOUGH!" Everything shatters like a mirror. Images twist and warp before I open my eyes to see Enzo looking down at me with a sneer.

I lift my hand, sending out an arch of power but Enzo catches it and tosses the power way before saying "You really do like it rough... Why are you making this so much more difficult than it has to be! Just let me out! Is that really so f.u.c.king hard!?"

He grabs me by my hair and gets in my face as he whispers "This can all end if you would just stop being so d.a.m.n stubborn!" I sneer back at him as I whisper "I told you that I can't do that. You'll just have to kill me."

His dark eyes s.h.i.+ft down to my lips before 'tsking' and pus.h.i.+ng me away. He runs his hands through his hair as he says "We both know I can't do that my dear. If I kill you, I lose my chance of getting out." He takes a deep breath before saying "You'll eat with me tonight."

He gives me one last look before walking out of the room, leaving me shaking on the floor. My mind threatens to break as I start to question what really happened. Did I even fight a Dragon or was that all part of his mindf.u.c.k?

"Eris!" Binx yells at me causing me to flinch again. I lay back on the floor and say "Thank you, old friend. If it wasn't for you... I may have never noticed that it was all fake." Binx sighs with relief and says "Someone was trying to block me so it wasn't easy... I could feel you slipping away and started fearing the worst."

I lift my arm and lay it across my eyes as I struggle to clear my head. "Binx... you have to get me out of here before something bad really does happen." Binx is quiet for a while before saying "I will get you out no matter what. I won't stop until I get you out."

A bitter smile crosses my face before a single tear falls. I quickly cut the link as I turn to my side and struggle not to cry. I clench my fists with determination as I say "If Binx can't get me out, I will crawl my way out."
