"Don't worry too much, just go with the flow. If he does anything over the line, I will help you beat him up." said Jane.
"Okay, I will try. Thanks boss." replied Teresa as she continued, "Oh ya, I forgot to tell you something. Did you know last night at 12.00am, Harry was waiting for me outside my house just give me a surprise and pa.s.s me some gifts."
"What? OMG, is he crazy? Going to your house in the middle of the night, isn't he afraid that your parents will kill him?"
"I know right, luckily my parents were sleeping"
"Wait a minute, does Harry like you?" asked Jane.
"What?! No, of course not, he just treats me like his sister that's all." said Teresa.
"Oh really?" replied Jane with a smirk on her face as she started to tease Teresa.

During Chemistry cla.s.s, Harry approached Teresa and he asked,
"Are you okay? You don't look good."
"No, I'm fine. Maybe just feeling guilty because John did so much for me."
"Oh, about that, I knew his whole surprise plan as he did asked for my opinion. Sorry for not telling you cause as his friend I was supposed to keep it a secret."
Teresa was speechless again, both of her closest friends knew the plan all along and did not tell her. She did not feel angry and surely not betrayed. She was just thinking what did John do to make both of her best friends follow his plan, was it his sincerity which touched them? Was she too cruel to treat him so coldly? The more she thought about it the more guilty she felt.

After cla.s.s, John pa.s.sed a huge box of gift to Teresa and he said,
"Hope you like this, Happy Birthday again."
"Oh my gosh, what's this? You shouldn't have given me so many gifts." said Teresa as she was surprised yet again.
"It's your birthday, please accept it."
"Okay then... Thank you so much John."
"You are most welcome, remember to hold it carefully, It's easy to break."
"What? Did you give me gla.s.s? Okay, after you said that I'm afraid to hold onto it, It's so fragile." replied Teresa in a scared way.
"Hahaha, why are you so afraid? It's not like it is a bomb." said Harry as he thought that her reaction was so cute. As he did not want to make thing difficult for her, he suggested, "If you are so scared to take it back, then maybe I will help you carry it to your house as I accompany you back home? What do you think?"
Teresa immediately declined his offer, "Oh no, no need the trouble, I can manage it on my own. Thanks for your offer."
She did not want to disturb him, and did not want to be alone with him as it would be so awkward. After hearing her reply, John was kinda upset as the chance for him to be alone with her was gone. However, he did not insist on it because he did not want to force her or make her feel uncomfortable.
After bidding goodbye, Teresa walked back home. On her way, she was thinking, "What do I do? He really did put a lot of effort to make me happy. But instead of happy, I feel guilty. Do I really deserve this?"
