Ain't Your Regular Girlfriend 3 3

"I can't believe this. I'm really going to Christy's party... A DMGIRLS. And Betty's gonna be there!". Clara gush. And I wonder what's really exciting about Betty... She and Betty. Hmmm...The Betty doesn't even know she exists and it's kinda funny. 

Betty Evans the school head cheerleader and a renowned b.i.t.c.h tagged s.l.u.t founder of DMGIRLS. I plan on naming her that publicly. 

"Hey, what's so exciting about Betty or... Is there something you ain't telling me? I ask pulling over in front of a building next to Christy's. We can just walk in from here but I need to talk with Clara first before driving inside, I need to know where those girls were always mean to her and why she came to their party." You've been talking about her since. Are you head over heels with her? I ask her. 

"I just like her". She whispers and I gape at her word.

"Yeah, who wouldn't like a DMGIRLS they are the G.o.ddess of the school?. I just can't help but ask you if she's bewitched everyone here to like her regardless of what she's been doing to other students. She is a bully, Clara... Didn't you see what she made Robbins do? 

"I know but... That doesn't mean I shouldn't like to bite her lips and". She shrieks and I couldn't help but wow. 

"Hey? Is there something you ain't telling me here? ... Jesus, Clara are you a les? I've been saying important stuff here and you were busy thinking of Betty's lips. Cool but there are more important things to seek out first in this school. 

"Lara, there are things you don't know about this School... And I bet if you do... You would run home and never come back to school...ever again." Clara says and I laugh at her words. 

"Hey, stop biting around the bush and tell me what is it that would make a whole me, Lara, run away for this school and never return". 

"Well...if you insist". She exhales and continues"The DMGIRLS which you already know about and think is just a small DMGIRLS consists of 20 people in number. 10 girls and 10 boys. The head is six, three girls and three boys and the boys hide under the girls, that's why they named it after the girls. Well, the school knows them as the progressive students only the students know them as the DMGIRLS and don't even dare to call them that in the presence of the teachers else you will be looking for your head the next day...

This group has been going on in this school from seniors to senior and no one did something about it because it was formed to help students as everybody thought. 

Firstly, it was a group developed to help the students by the seniors of 2012 but the ones in the head now started when they've not been appointed by the seniors...They started from junior cla.s.s and changed the name to DMGIRLS instead of progressive students when they were finally appointed. .. I. e Betty, Christy, Brian, Tina, Bryce, and Thomson. These six people are the ones to permit whom to date whom in the school, kinda funny right? and the boys approve of it. They make life miserable for freaks like... Me. 

"Hey, you ain't a freak... You are Clara. I tell her and swallowed hard trying to take in what she just said now. 

"But, you treated me like one," She says and keeps her head down. " I will never blame you cos I deserved it". 

"Hey... No one deserves to be treated like freaks okay? And I didn't mean to make you feel like one... I'm sorry okay?". I say and she nods. "But wait a sec... Why didn't I notice this... Well, I did notice it but they all seemed nice to me the first day I stepped my foot in the cla.s.s". I say and wonder if I'm ever gonna understand these people. 

"That's how they all are... They get to act nice at first to impress the teachers and everyone but when you get to adapt everything... They will start showing their true selves. On my first week here... Christy was all nice... Sitting next to me before cla.s.s and the two of us eating lunch together but on the third week after the party... She made me lick the ice cream she intentionally puts on her shoes... And Betty was there laughing and jeered her up". She says amidst tears. 

"Hey, It's alright but what made them do that!… I mean what do you mean by after the party?". I ask confused. "Do you get into a fight with one of them?". 

"No! Christy invited me to her house party like she did to you now… I accepted the offer and agreed on going to a party with the person I thought was my friend not knowing that I was about to walk into a trap. You know… It's not actually my first time going to her party. She laughs and continues."At first, she gave me a drink... She said it was a toast to our friends.h.i.+p so I drank it all not knowing that it was drugged and when I woke up in the morning I'm at home. As if nothing happened... Then I...". She sign trying to catch her breath. 

"Hey... You can tell me anything,.. you know... Okay....or we can turn back if it makes you feel better". I say in a small dry voice. So this is what has been going on in this school?

"They have this computer... A system where they save all mischiefs and the system is in Christy's. I never knew they made a video of that night and they've been threatening me with it". She sobs. 

"They made a video? I gasp surprised." I'm so sorry, that you went through all that because of them but I'm just wondering why agreed on going to their party with me... After what they did to you". I ask confused again. In Fact, this whole thing is confusing. I know they are capable of doing things but not go this far.

"Well, you going there is like you walking into a trap like I did, like Charlie... Robbins and everyone else. Lara, I followed you to this party because I knew you are good and that after telling you all this you wouldn't stand back and watch them continue on. That's why I've been a little pestering to get your attention and be your friend. I've been enduring this for the past years now but the moment I saw you walk into our cla.s.s on your first day... All my lost hope was restored. 

Me? How can I be of help... I'm so confused... And. Charlie is the guy that warned me about them. Robbins is the one that doesn't speak much... 

"Oh my goodness. I noticed something strange on the day, Mr. Philip, the English teacher threw a question at Robbins. He couldn't even utter two words without wetting his pants". I gasp at the memory. 

"They made people do humiliating stuff, Lara you have to be extremely careful before they get to you". She says and for a moment I thought I was in a bad dream. 

"But how am? how am I going to be of help? When I'm just new to this atmosphere". I ask and questioned myself if I'm still the unchallengeable Lara or something else. 

"You are not alone, there are students who are afraid to speak up like I am but when someone takes action on we will surely support with our everything...Lara, I saw something different in you. Something we all here lack... And how you resist Patty's proposal on your first day which many of us couldn't and you talked back to Christy...a DMGIRLS... You are really something else. 

Things here are getting weirder and maybe there is a reason why we moved here to this small Charlottetown... To solve the problem here... I kinda sensed it the first time I set my foot in that school. 

"Maybe we should involve the cops". I blurt. 

"That's insane, I tried it once and see what it got me...n.o.body believed a word I said...even the teachers scolded me to shut up because they are the school saints while we are the sinners. This is our fight, Lara... We have to file each of them out and tag them with their evil deeds. 

"What about Stephen?... Is he involved?. I asked and couldn't help but wanted to hear a no from Clara. 

" No, he isn't but I think he  knows about this and that might be the reason why he doesn't hang out much with any of them. you know?... He is so cute with his green eyes, and is every ladies dream of a guy... I know you must have noticed how girls tend to get closer to him but he keeps on rejecting them.  He is from a rich family. A well-known one and who would dare lay their hands on him. The thing I love about him his cheerfulness, he doesn't boast like Thompson or full of pride and he is cool And friendly. 

"Pfft! It's not like he is the only rich kid on earth" I smirk rudely.

"Hey! Don't be rude, I think he likes you... Or ain't you aware of that?". Clara asks and It never occurred to me that Steve might be in love with me!.

"I doubt that!... He likes Christy, not me... And Christy likes him and they are perfect for each other. '' I grin.  "But cool I think we should  involve him in our friend list but first we need to get that system first... You said they have a system and it's in Christy's house right? I ask and she nods and I wonder why they keep it there instead of elsewhere.

"Yeah...the system contains files of their mischiefs and the one at Christy's are bad files on the student they picked on... The main files containing theirs are well hidden. I only saw it once when I was still with them. You might be wondering why they kept it at Christy's right?" she asked and I nodded."It's because Christy's parents are always out of town so they used the house as their office and another mysterious place which I'm still unable to spot out.

"How did you know about all this and why didn't you use it against them? Come to think of this who fix parties on Sat.u.r.day night when tomorrow is Sunday?" I ask. 

"It is their customized night. A night where multiple things happen... Where lives are ruined and me fighting them alone is impossible...I need someone as courageous as you are... And you ain't like a regular girl who would easily back down by anyone not even an evil sneer". 

I've been following them around like dog because they made me do it, so I used that opportunity to gather information that will be used against them...at the right time. And right now I can't gather more because they gave me their free card last month saying that they've unchained me. She mimics demonstrating the way they said it. "Lara? they made me...Us.. do their works!..their cla.s.swork. 

They let me off because they've seen another one to toy with and... I think that's you! I overheard Thomson say that there's got a new girl in school. They are planning something for you. And I know they are just wasting their time thinking that cos they don't know who you are, my unregular darling friend". She says and I wonder if that's a compliment or not. 

"Hey, we will start today okay...we will walk in there, have some drinks and pretend to be going home in one hour later... Then we will sneak back into wherever their system is". I say without putting much thought into it. 

"You think that's easy?"  She asks and glared her eyes up. 

"Then, what am I supposed to do?". I sigh in despair."Wait a sec... I have an idea... Mrs. Stewart said Christy and I should make out...Christy hates detention so I bet she wouldn't turn down my offer to join them... She's so wanted me to". I suggest and she nods in disapproval." What then!?".

"You think it's just easy to walk in, join and come out. anytime you want? She asks and rolls her eyes." Don't worry, I have an idea... I will tamper with the drinks there, just drink from the ones I gave to you and Chris okay? ". 

"Okay and trust me okay? We will accomplish this first mission okay?. come on, we have to go in already before they close that big gate..". I say and applied some face powder on my face. "Here put a little power on your face, it's ruined". with her tears. We will surely accomplish tonight's mission. 

"Yeah, let's go to your first DMGIRLS and please remember to say no to their drink offer".

"Copied".  

"I never meant what I said about liking Betty's lips...what I meant was that I will deal with that her lips she used in kissing my Chris. And I'm not a lesbian! Don't ever think I am. 

Chris? Well, I guess I'm wrong this time for judging Clara without getting to know her first.
