A Bored Lich 86 The Situation

So, I'm going to take a little bit of a "Break" for a few days. The reason behind the quotes is because I will be working my a.s.s of during this "Break" on getting back on track. So, what happened?

Basically, I found this software to write called Campfire pro. It helps a writer organize everything down to even the smallest details in, admittedly not the prettiest, but functional way. While writing the next arc about an hour ago, I logged onto the software only to find my outline, character sheets, timelines, locations, character relations.h.i.+ps, and everything else gone. Hours of effort just gone.

After restarting my computer, reinstalling the software, crying, and much frustration, I have to reset everything. Here comes the good and bad part. The good part is that I remember most of what I wrote so I don't have to reimigine every little detail. The bad part is that I have to take time to write it all down now and find a different FUNCTIONAL software to jot everything down or just handwrite every little bit of information.

What makes this even worse is I just started summer school, which will take around 20 hours of the week away, and my job, which I took a leave of absence from, I will have to go back to (with around 15 hours, which isn't much, but it is still time away from writing.

So, here is what's going to happen. I will take a few days off, put this book on hiatus while I redo an entire fricking arc by hand so no software will doom me. During this time, I'll post little bits of things (filler, but not terrible filler) so webnovel doesn't completely hault all the momentum for this book I've built up after the climax of the last arc. It won't be bad filler but just know it's not cannon. I'm a creative person so I can think of stuff fast, like seriously fast.

While I get through this mess, I hope all of you will understand my frustration and please share this book to keep my momentum alive. I do not want to go back to my job, especially since I have to work at a pharmacy. I would rather do what I love and earn money while doing it (This means I plan to go premium in the future). If I fail to show my parents I can earn money through this, they will send me back to work and my momentum will stop.

Writing to me is just a sort of itch. I have to scratch it or else I get really...let's say daydreamy. I have to be creative to function. I love to make you readers feel emotions. It's my goal when writing. I am determined to be a writer as my career (Although I'm working on getting my degree for a back-up) and this is the only time that I have to prove myself.

To conclude, I've already spent so much effort and time on this book. I will not let some s.h.i.+tty software hold me back. I refuse. I'm shaking just writing this because I'm so angry. Please understand that I will make this right, and I will continue after this one or two day break. This arc is going to be so much better than the last, just as the last arc was better than the one before. I will not let anything or anyone stop me.

All I ask is that you support this book. This is not my first time writting a book on this site. A break can mean sinking. I do not want to go through that again. I can't afford it.
