"Ok." Ronnie pouted and about to leave, but stopped by Henry."Ronnie, will not take your gift? See what the uncle has brought for you." Henry take out a basket from under the table and handed him it. It was covered by a cloth. Ronnie removed the cloth from the basket and yelled in joy. There were two little kittens sleeping on the basket. Ronnie started to jump. "Henry, you go and meet Dolly. She is in her room. Zinu will show you the room. You two should talk to each other." Mrs Smith told Henry.

"But grandma, what if Dolly hates me for entering her room?"

"No, she will not hate you. She could talk to you freely inside of her room only. So now go."

"Ok." Henry and Zinu said together and left.

"Sister -in -law, do you think she will like me? What if she throws me out of her room?"

  After Zinu's departure, the room became silent. Dolly was reading a book. She continued reading it. Henry sat on a chair nervously. He could not find any word to say. Ten minutes past, but they both sat in the same position. At last, Dolly said in an irritating voice."If you come here to sit, then may I remind you that there are some better rooms in this house to sit. You can use any one of them."

   Henry looked at her. She was calm as a sea, but he knew how devasting she could be.

"h.e.l.lo. I am here to speak to you. Everyone says that by speaking to each other we can know each other better."Henry told after a long time.

" Then ask. What do you want to know? I will answer it."

"No Dolly I am here not to ask you questions. I am here to know the real you. I want you to open up to me. Then only we can spend our lives in future if there are any possibilities."

"Look, Henry. You are my brother's friend. There is nothing to open up in front of you. You already know everything. I already told my family that I have no problem in this marriage."

"What really? Are you sure?"

"Yes, hundred per cent sure."

"Oh, my Dolly.Thank you. You have lifted the heavy weight from my shoulder. Now I am going, but will return very soon." He was about to left the room but stopped. Dolly was confused.

"I forgot. I brought a gift for you. Hope you will like it." He handed her a jewellery box. On the box, there were small Diamond studded earrings. Henry left after handed her the gift.

  Dolly closed the door and stood near the door like a statue. She stood there for a long time and sat on the floor with a thud and started crying like a little child. She could not control herself more. She wanted to all her pains flowed with her tears. With the tears, she wanted to wash out the memory of her past life. She wanted to delete the prohibited chapter from her life.

   She cried for almost all day. Thanks to the soundproof room, n.o.body could even guess what was happening to her. Zinu came to call her for lunch, but she replied that she had some acidity problem, so she would not eat now. So, Zinu thinks nothing and sent a maid to her room with her lunch. The maid was calling her again and again so she accepted the food from her and again shut the door.

  The maid did not notice her condition and left. She had her dinner with everyone. They were happily speaking about her marriage. She finished her dinner without uttering a word. She only replied that question, which they asked her.

   Next day Dolly left the home early, without having her breakfast. When the maids called her, she replied, "Tell Zinu and grandma that I have a very urgent work to do. I will have my breakfast in a restaurant." and left.

  She hired a taxi and reached her college. She came here to feel Charlie's love for last time. She visited the park and all the places one by one.

'Charlie, goodbye forever. I am here today to see the places for the last time, where we met, where we loved each other. I will start my new life. Hope you will be happy .'
