Next day Rocky reached the Smith Enterprise to meet the CEO. But the security guards stopped him in front of the gate.

"You can not enter the building without an appointment.No stranger is allowed inside the building."

"Please let me go in. It is very important for me to meet the CEO today. Otherwise, I would be lost my job."

"Sir, I am sorry. If I let you enter the building without an appointment, I would be lost my job. So, sir please don't make my duty harder. Please leave." 

     Rocky sadly left the place, as he reached near the gate, a car came from the opposite side. He did not notice the car and hit by it. Charlie, who was driving the car startled. He brakes the car and goes near the man. He saw the man has lost his sense, maybe due to shock. Charlie hurriedly picked up him and reached the hospital.

        He admitted Rockey in the emergency ward. The doctors checked him and gave him a drip. Although he got back his consciousness, he got some scratches on all over his body. He s.h.i.+fted to a ward of the hospital. The doctors informed Charlie that, he was not hurt badly, but needed to stay under the observation of two hours.

 Charlie entered the ward, where Rocky was sleeping. A drip was connected on his hand.

"Are you feeling good now?" Charlie asked Rocky.

"Yes.Thank you for your help. Can you please tell me who are you?"

"I am Charlie of Smith Enterprise. How did you got hit by the car?"

"Are you a.s.sistant Charlie? Oh my G.o.d! I am a fan of you. Sir, actually I was absentminded today, so didn't notice your car. I am very sorry for creating problems for you."

"It's ok. You can go home after two hours. I have done all the formalities." Charlie smiled and opened the door to left, but stopped to hear Rocky's voice.

"Sir, can I have a favour from you?"

"What?"

"Sir, I went to your company to meet the CEO, but the security didn't let me go in. Sir, I will be lost my job if I can not be able to get an appointment with my boss with the CEO of Smith Enterprise. My boss would fire me. Please, sir, help me to get an appointment."

"From which company do you belong?"

"It's Rose Cosmetics. It's a new company. My boss wanted to tie up with your company. I emailed the proposal but got no reply."

"Mr Rocky, the thing is our company usually doesn't tie up with any new company. Only some reputed company have the privilege to tie-up with us."

"Please sir, you just go through the proposal and help me to get an appointment with your CEO. I studied your company's profile. Can you please consider the matter under your sponsors.h.i.+p programme? Sir, please. My mother is in the hospital. If I lost the job now, I would not save my mother."

         Charlie thought for some time. He was a kind-hearted man. He pitied in Rocky's condition. He too suffered in this kind of problems before the joining in Smith enterprise. He knew how it feels to be poor. So, he decided to help Rocky. Apart from this, Under Smith enterprise's Sponsors.h.i.+p Programme, the company sponsored a new company every year. It was Charlie's duty to interview the bosses of the companies and select the best one. The most potential company would be selected for sponsoring. This year the sponsors.h.i.+p would be done next month, so it was a perfect time for him to select a new company.

"Ok. Tell your boss to come to Smith Enterprise tomorrow at 10 o'clock and report on conference room no 2."

"Thank you, sir. Thank you very much I would be ever grateful for this help."Rocky replied happily.

"Tell your boss to come prepared. I want to see every plan of your company."

"Ok, sir."

        Charlie nodded and left the hospital and went to the company. He felt happiness in her mind.

          In the office, Dolly was working on her new a.s.signment. It was about a new system to be installed in the textile industry of Smith Enterprise. She was trying to complete the a.s.signment for three days, but couldn't concentrate on it. Annoyingly, she shut down her laptop and sat near the window lost in thought.

         Charlie was pa.s.sing by her cabin. He unconsciously looked inside and sadly looked at her. He wanted to go there and hug her. But he could not. He clutched his fists and controlled himself.

           Charlie and Dolly met each other nine years ago. They both went to the same college. Dolly was two years junior to Charlie. They both were of the same department.

           One day Dolly was returning home after college. As she reached the bus stop, it started raining heavily. She waited there for a long time, but the rain didn't stop. After some time, another person came there drenched in rain. She looked at the boy. He was Charlie. Charlie was famous among the girls, as the most handsome and hot boy, but Dolly never gave any attention to him. But today she was bored, so she decided to speak to him.

"h.e.l.lo. Waiting for the bus? I think no bus will come to this road in this heavy rain. " Charlie asked her before she could ask anything. 

"Yes. I too think so. "Dolly replied.

"I am Charlie. What is your name? I have seen you in our department. Are you in the first year?"

"I am Dolly. Yes, I am in the first year. And you? "

"I am a final year student," Charlie replied with a smile. 

        That day they both talked with each other for a long time. They both felt attracted to each other. After that day they became friends. Both of them were eager to meet each other every day. Every day Charlie waited for her at the bus stop and they went home together.

         On the graduation day of Charlie, he proposed Dolly in front of everyone and she accepted his proposal happily. Dolly was very happy to get Charlie as her boyfriend, but everyone was not happy. Most of the girls of the college wanted to be Charlie's girlfriend. They always tried to get the attention of Charlie. But he never looked at them. Sara was one of the girls who wanted to pursue Charlie. But Charlie never gave her any attention. She was jealous of Dolly. She promised herself to s.n.a.t.c.h Charlie from Dolly.

       On the other hand, both Charlie and Dolly were deeply in love. They promised to each other for their lifelong relations.h.i.+p. With that promise, Charlie left the college. 

          After graduation, Charlie's real struggle for life started. Charlie's father died a long time ago. As a poor single parent, his mother had to struggle for everything. She had to work in different houses as a maid to meet all the needs of her son. Charlie too worked as a waiter in a hotel after his college hours.

            When he competed for his studies and he searched for a job, he came to know the reality of the cruel world. He had tried different companies for a job, but it was not easy for an inexperienced person to get a job. His mother was also becoming weak day by day. She too needed a good treatment. 

             Charlie was frustrated. He started to lose all hopes of life. He started to think about his life differently. He needs a job to save his mother as well as Dolly. He thought that he would easily get a job. But when he came to know that it is not easy to get one, he decided to leave Dolly. He didn't want her to suffer in poverty with him.

             Dolly tried to meet him many times, but each time he made excuses and avoid her. He knew Dolly would not leave him if she knows the reality. She would happily accept all his failure. But he wanted Dolly's bright future. He didn't want to tag her along with his bad luck.

             On the other hand, Dolly didn't understand what happened to Charlie. One day she saw him sitting on a bench in front of a hotel. She was very happy to see him for a long time. She hurriedly reached near him and hugged from the back.

            Charlie frowned. That day, he came to the hotel to search for a job, but again failed. His mother was in the hospital. So, he immediately needs money. Love became a luxurious thing for him. In this condition, he only could think about money. Although he loved Dolly, he could not afford her love now.

"Dolly, why are you here?"Charlie asked Dolly in a cold voice. Dolly stunned. She holds his hand looked at his eyes. She could not felt any affection in his voice. She could not find any warmth for her in his eyes. She surprised to see his condition. He looked weaker than before 

" What happened to you, Charlie? I  am trying to meet you for a long time. Why are you avoiding me? Do you know how am I spending my time without you? I love you, Charlie. I told you before that I can not live without you."

"Dolly, please go away. I don't want to speak with you."Charlie said without looking at her eyes. He knew if he looks at her eyes, he could never leave her. But in his current situation, he must let go of her. Otherwise, she would have to suffer with him.
