The Substitute Wife Chapter 11: 11 Misunderstanding

Hiro made a painful expression. "...you don't like me?" "No." Hiro left the room. She feels like she's bullied him. (Why is he making that face like I did something wrong?)

Hiro gets in the car and left the villa. He heads to the bar. He walks in and sits on the chair. He kept drinking and drinking.

Mia gets home and notice the bedroom door is open. She walks in and turns the lights on. Her eyes widen as soon as she sees Hiro with another woman, both of them are naked.

Without realizing it, tears fall down on her cheek. She turns off the lights and rush out of the house. She b.u.mps into Hector. "Mia." His eyes widen when he sees her in tears. "E-excuse me." Mia rushes out.

Hector went to check what's happen. He walks in and sees Hiro with a woman on the bed with him. Hector got upset. He grabs a pitcher of water that was on the nightstand and dumps the water on Hiro.

Hiro jolts and gets up. He sees Hector. "Gosh. You." Hiro rubs his eyes. "What the heck are you doing?" "What you mean?" "Look who's beside you." Hiro turns and look. His eyes widen and gets off the bed.

Hiro was topless but still wearing his pants. "What is she.." "You tell me. You went to the bar, didn't you?" "Ah...that's right. I did." "I'm disappointed, Hiro." "Hector."

Hector turns to him. "As long as nothing happen but Mia walks in already and misunderstood." "Mia was here?" "She was crying." Hiro grits his teeth. Hector left the room.

Hiro grabs his cellphone and tries to call her but she didn't pick up the phone. He sighs. "d.a.m.n it!" He punch the wall. "d.a.m.n it, Hiro."

Mia rushes out of the villa but as soon as she reaches the gate. (Where can I go...?) She doesn't know where she can turn to. A few minutes later, something drips on her face. She looks up and it started to pour rain.

She's thinking where she can spend the night for the time being as soon as she thinks about it. The rain started to pour heavily. She decides to stay at a hotel for the time being. She rushes and head to the hotel nearby.

As she booked a room, her phone rings. She checks it and the caller id said Hiro. She toss her phone on the bed. "b.a.s.t.a.r.d." She doesn't quite understand why her heart hurts so much or why she's crying.

(b.a.s.t.a.r.d. b.a.s.t.a.r.d.) She sits on the floor by the screen door without changing her wet clothes.(Why? Why does this have to happen to me..?) She pulls her knees towards her and puts her arms around her body.

A few minutes later, she fell asleep on the floor. Hiro tries to call her again but no luck. He sighs. (Where have she gone..? It's pouring out.) He then heads to the hotel nearby to see if she booked a room. As he arrives to the hotel, he walks up to the front desk and asks the employee. "Have you seen her?"

He shows a picture of Mia. "Yes. She booked a room." "Thank goodness. May I know what room?" "Yes." The employee told him what room Mia was in. He takes the elevator to reach third level. He kept walking until he sees a room 909A. He knocks on the door.

"Mia." Knock. Knock. "Mia. It's me. Let's talk." The room was silence. He got scared if anything happens to her. He takes the key out of his pocket and opens the door.

He walks in and didn't see her on the bed. As he walks closer, he sees her on the floor. He walks up to her. "Mia." He touches her. "Mia." He feels her forehead and her forehead was burning. "Mia!" He lifts her up and carries her out of the hotel and head to the hospital.

Hiro stays out of the ER, waiting impatiently. After a short while, doctor comes out of the ER. Hiro stands up and walks towards the doctor. "How is she?" "She's fine. Just a fever running." "Thank you."

Hiro enters the room and stays by her side without leaving. He wipes her seat on her forehead with a warm towel. He sets the towel down and takes her hand.

"I'm sorry, Mia. Nothing happen between me and that woman. Trust me." Next morning, she opens her eyes. (This is...) She sits up and notices she's holding Hiro's hand. She slowly removes her hand but he grips her hand tightly.

(This b.a.s.t.a.r.d.) "Nothing happen between us. Rest a.s.sured." "You're pretending to be asleep? Let go of my hand!" She tries to break free from his grip. He sits up and looks at her. "I'm telling you...nothing happen."

"I got it! Just let go of my hand." He looks down and looks at her. "No." "Y-You...b.a.s.t.a.r.d. I said let go." "You're still mad." "Of course I'm mad. I--" She stops middle of her sentence and gasped. She looks away. (What was that? I'm mad because I'm....jealous....?) She looks at him who tilting his head, confused.

(Him...I like him....since when....wait...I like him?!) Her face blushed. He notices her face is bright red. "Your face is red. You're having a fever again?" He leans in and press his own forehead onto her forehead. "It doesn't seems you're having a fever."

Her heart was about to explode. She pushes him away. "I-I'm fine. Just get away from me." Bb.u.mp. Bb.u.mp. (Calm down Heart. No need to be exaggerating over him.)
