Beast Mutation 17 Ch. 15 First Figh

Entering the door, he was surprised as he saw a vast s.p.a.ce in front of him, with a dome-like structure covering it. There was another reason he was surprised as he didn't saw this type of architecture outside the building.

"The reason why you didn't see this structure from outside because of this place in another dimension." Alan said before Karol could say anything. Hearing that he was confused as he listened to this thing for the first time.

"Don't ask me how it works, as even I don't know either." Alan said, looking at Karol's surprised face and hearing that Karol controlled his curiosity about this place.

"Kid, wait here I will be back in a minute." Alan said that and started walking towards a metal door on the left side of the structure. Looking around, Karol saw the structure once again and realized that it just seems like those arenas he read in books.

He also started to feel the mana in the surroundings. He realised that there was a negligible amount of mana present in the surrounding, and he got a feeling that this little mana is for maintaining this structure.

After a while, Alan walked out of the gate with a cage in his hands half the size of him. Looking at the cage, Karol realized that it must be where the beast is contained.

"Kid go stand over there." Alan said, pointing towards in the middle of the arena. "Sir, before that, I want to ask you something." Karol asked his permission before asking a question that is bothering him.

"If it's not about this dimension, then I can answer your questions." Alan said as he didn't want to disclose information about this place. "It's not about this place but about that beast." Karol said, pointing towards the beast.

"Okay, then ask me, I will try to answer the best within my knowledge." He said as he didn't mind questions about these things. "I want to know that why are letting the beast this place capture to be killed." Karol asked that question as he knew that living beast has a considerable price on them as they are great material for research and the beast trainer.

Hearing that Alan was a little bit surprised as he saw most of the people asking ways to defeat the beast or it's a weakness, but the kid asked something different. "The reason is that because the one who can kill the beast bound to be a great adventurer." He replied as know answer to his question.

"Thanks for answering." Karol said as he realized the test by this answer because to kill a beast of the same level, you need at least two people of the same level. "Enough about your queries, now go stand over there." Alan said as he needed to finish this task as soon as possible.

Hearing that, Karol started to walk towards the direction Alan was pointing at. "On the count of three, I will release the beast." Alan said after Karol reaches the location, he was pointing at.

Hearing that, Karol takes out his sword and prepared himself for the upcoming fight. "One, two, three....." Alan counted to three and released a beast.

The beast was a rabbit with a height of 40 cm, black fur, red eyes, and two huge fangs. Looking around, the rabbit saw Karol in front of him and started to run towards him to kill him.

After reaching in front of Karol, the rabbit opened its mouth to stab him with its fangs. Seeing that Karol moves towards the left side as the rabbit was walking in the straight line.

Just as the rabbit reaches the place where Karol was standing before, the rabbit stopped in its track Karol moved from its attack line. Suddenly, Karol stabbed in the side of the rabbit, but he was only able to produce a light wound as the rabbit skin was very hard.

Turning its body, the rabbit tackled Karol as he was still in his attacking position. Just as the rabbit was about to hit him, he put his sword in front of his body and absorbed some damage, but he was still pushed back two meters from the impact.

Both of them were wounded. They looked at each other and running towards each other. Just as both of them were in front of each other, Karol suddenly lowered his sword and then used it to throw the rabbit upwards.

After the rabbit was thrown in the air, he slashed at its stomach two times at the same place. The rabbit started to fall on the ground, hitting the earth; its body was divided into two parts.

Seeing the body, Karol suddenly started vomiting as he realized that he killed a living being. "You got a pretty interesting skill there, and you used it wisely to kill the beast." Alan said after appearing near Karol and started to pat his back, seeing his condition.

Hearing that, Karol was surprised as that man realized that he used a skill. "Don't look so surprised as I am stronger than you so I can feel the mana fluctuations in the surrounding." he said while still patting his back.

He understood how he was able to tell that he used the triple strike to kill the rabbit, but he was more surprised that this skill used up a quarter of his compressed mana. "I got to master this skill fast to increase its efficiency." he thought, thinking about the skill cost.

After a while, Karol felt better after vomiting and started to wash his face with water given by Alan. "Let's go out of here." Alan said after seeing that Karol stabilized his condition.
