Undying Phantasia 16 The Encounter

Apolion was eating at the inn in the morning and some other customers were present in the tables around him.

He was something similar to a round bread typically depicted in medieval history.But what was odd was that they were serving curry with a certain vegetable similar to onion's taste yet it looked like red pepper. But you eat what you get.

''Was the food good dear lord?'' asked on of the waitresses to Apolion.

She has typical maid cafe costume but very different from those of earth with just an ap.r.o.n and long skirt..which was quiet odd for Apolion to see in a world different than his.She had brown hair and brown eyes.

Althou, Apolion pondered if the people in this planet were humans or aliens similar to humans in terms of genes as they were strikingly similar to humans.

Thariel made it clear but probably its written in some place of the equipment..

''I am fine'' Responded Apolion with certainty in his face..

''Dear Lord...Sorry for the rudeness but I was asking how was the food..? But it is good to know you are doing good.'' said the waitress.

''I am good food'' said Apolion in a broken Froleian nervously and sweating as he messed the meaning up again..

''Ookay? I shall be going Milord..'' The waitress bid farewell to Apolion.

She thought Apolion was odd and might be a foreigner from another country that didn't know Froleian..but what was odd is he didn't speak Engorian as it was a global language to understand each other..

'What a strange person' muttered the waitress attending another client.

Apolion signed heavily as he was trying to practice two languages at the same time...he decided to just stick with one next time...probably Froleian .

As Apolion went to his room again he went to check his bag. He remembered there was a digital tablet he hasn't used for ages.

The reason he left is because Apolion was concentrated on the main training technique as he was paranoid he gonna die after Thariel's scary statements...he thought 'Who wouldn't be fearful of death, unless, certain reasons I guess?' Apolion was a normal human at the beginning, well, with powers that is above an average person but the mind of a young teen but that doesn't mean he wasn't maturer than the average teenager.

''Let's start!'' Apolion was expecting something great to happen...

The tablet was similar to an imac but thinner.

A blue screen showed up.And a circle where suddenly a red light appeared in the middle.It showed signs of loading..

Apolion waited 1 minute till it was complete..

And a sudden feminine robotic voice appeared out of nowhere.

''h.e.l.lo, beholder, I am your personal A.I. I am here to help you with anything you might need and questions you might ask. Beholder, please enter your name and put your finger in the screen for the a.n.a.lysis to be done and ident.i.ty confirmed.''

That is what came out of the tablet.

Apolion was speechless for a second..'So you are telling me I was so stupid I never noticed gold in front of my stupid eyes? My life would be easier with this...Forget it..the past is past..'

Apolion did as instructed..and the voice asked a few setting to be done.

''What shall be my name?'' asked the A.I

''Hmmmm, how about, Alize?'' responded Apolion as he was typing the name since it needs double verification.

''Thank you beholder for my name.What shall I refer to you as? Master, Host,Beholder or any other suggestions you might have?'' asked Alize one more time.

''Master shall be fine'' said Apolion with a grin.

''Yes,master'' responded Alize.

''For what purposes you need me?'' asked Alize afterwards.

''Well I need you to tell me what you can do exactly?'' asked Apolion with curiosity.

''Master, I can do many varied activities such as a.n.a.lyzing existing objects,people and data and give you a detailed information within my capabilities.I have two options to do this.

Either I can attach myself to you inside your body or outside in the form of gla.s.ses to provide information and commands to be executed or provide information like this or in the form of an object either attached or I can transform into one.However, bear in mind I can't obey or transfer any command privileges or uses from the first user..in other words master cannot make other beings take control over me as its not part of the system for security reasons, even thou it is possible forcefully it might trigger a emergency alarm to the higher realms to the order who created me.''

Narrated Alize to Apolion carefully.

''Awesome! Then you should attach yourself to me in form of gla.s.ses I don't want a strange A.I inside my body for safety reasons too.'' said Apolion with excitement.He was about to get a powerful A.I which can save him time and power giving him hacks in real life.

''All hail the hacks!!'' Shouted Apolion in excitement than ever before.

''Yes, master.'' The tablet started to metamorphose into a pair of sun gla.s.ses but with a clear lense. (Author's note: the gla.s.ses look similar to spider-man homecoming's gifted by iron man but not black but crystal clear..the transformation is similar to how transformers transform.)

''This is pure gold!'' Apolion hurriedly hold on to it and put it on his face.

''Welcome, master. This is the form requested by you.Also any other commands?'' asked Alize in Apolion's mind as if it was telepathy.

''Wait you can communicate telepathically?'' asked Apolion even more surprised.

''I am also powered by supernatural and natural energies such as vrilin and I can feed and get stronger through the user's power..but you haven't bonded with me in order to do so'' Explained Alize to Apolion.

''Oh alright lets bond then'' Apolion requested.

''Roger.Initializing. it might take 2 hours...in the meanwhile, master can do anything he wants while, I prepare for the bond but do not take off the gla.s.ses.'' said Alize.

''Oh okay'' Apolion sighed one last time before going out and fixing his bag and leaving the room.

He just bid farewell to the owner before..he was met...again by her..

''I have being waiting for you.It seems I reached in time and you coincidentally came out in time too'' Lorenya greeted Apolion with a enthusiastic smile.

''Oh come on...'' Just when Apolion wanted to explore everything alone..with no one to intervene. specially with his gla.s.ses which is highly likely never seeing before..at least the design.

''What are those strange gla.s.ses you are wearing is that a object from your culture or country?'' asked Lorenya curiously as she came as close as she could to observe.

''Emm'' Apolion was more nervous than ever.

Only then did she realize they are too close.

''Ahh sorry'' She apologized hastily.

''Its okay'' said Apolion with relief.

''Never mind. Today you will learn numbers and a few other names and meaning come on let's go to the countryside.'' said Lorenya before instructing Apolion to go into the carriage again.

Apolion sighed before going inside again and boringly wait for 25 minutes...

'Well it seems my time will lend in December but he will be here as I need to discover his strange physique as much as possible'. She was always curious about magic and the working of beings to strength herself and a way to venture the world of mysteries which fascinated her when young..she was always trying to discover the working of all that exist to maybe possibly find new solutions to problems and discover magical stuff as it was a fulfilling life for her

''Hey. In which magic you specialize in? 'Me in elemental'... look... fire.'' She made a magic circle appear in her hand and a little flame started burning she said the name fire a few times for Apolion to remember and get the information.

''Ah me too'' Apolion formed a fire out of his hand too but with no magic circles appearing.

''Wait there is no magic circles from there and also why I don't sense any magic being used?'' She questioned Apolion how it worked through signals...

Apolion was speechless for a second and signaled that it comes from him by pointing a finger at himself and pointing at her and making a gesture of a 'No' to highlight that it was different.

This sparked the might of fascination to once again be alive in Lorenya since she wanted to know how different Apolion was...his manner was too calm to be that of a teenagers and his mannerism more mature than the n.o.bles she sees. Apolion was shrouded in mystery for her althou, she knew this was just a temporary request by Achils it does not mean she can explore too right? (referring to Apolion)

''Anyway, here we are..in this countryside there is quiet a view isn't it?'' She said to Apolion who was awestruck by the beauty of a long yellow road, humble houses of wood and bricks, and agricultural land in form of semicircles and green lands..with a mountain far away that could be seen by the colossal size and darkness with a descending waterfall...

The longest he has seen in person in his life..it was foggy as they were very far

''Fantastic'' muttered Apolion in English.

''Un?'' Lorenya looked at Apolion to see what he was trying to say.

''I mean beautiful'' said Apolion in a panicked manner again to not mess with the language again..he was sure he got it right..

''Ah I see, right.Also, let's go and visit the place's green areas to relax.'' Lorenya said before they got up of the carriage and started walking alone with Apolion along with her.This time she was wearing a more countryside clothing which was still filled with a dress that signifies higher ranking individual even within a village.It was plain dress with a long skirt and light blue.

'If you really don't wanna stand out just don't wear those clothes but nice try..from knowledge of the earth if i remember correctly it was still hard for peasants to even by high quality dresses like hers I guess..She probably is a new traveler as I realized since she seems to explore the village al thou...I am not sure how did that old man get her to teach me and also

Why is she with no guards? probably a high strength there is no doubt by the magic she emanated from that fire magic I think. I wonder what 'elemental' mean probably a type of mage or a ranking status..'

As they were exploring the village people noticed them with curiosity as she was wearing yet again another dress which as expensive but this time less striking so the gazes reduces..Apolion was wearing a peculiar jumper of a red colour and big shorts(Author's note:Like Sora from Kingdom hearts)..He had other clothes given to him in the bag too, which, had almost infinite storage..but of course, like any other material it has a limit thou.

They walked around the village with odd gazes sometimes..

They were nearing the mountain-1 hour and a half has pa.s.sed.

''You see this?'' pointed Lorenya as she picked up a flower..

the flower was a red colour like roses and it had many layers like a rose yet highlights all round it with green and blue colours as if it was a artificial flower made by someone..it was also illuminating and s.h.i.+ny it had a certain smell Apolion could not explain...

There was just 5 other flowers left but they were scattered around the trees they were a bit far away of the main countryside where houses were located.

''This special flower is ceremonial flower given to someone you love and its pretty rare..there is a legend behind this but I can't explain you this yet as you don't know'' said Lorenya with a sigh to Apolion.

Apolion seemed to understand a little bit of what she was saying or so he thought.

So he just nodded non-stop.

In the mountains peak....

It was located quiet high to provide the view of the whole village.

There was a tree hanging below the waterfall and another cherry-blossom-like tree in the middle.

With rocks old as time itself from innumerable hards.h.i.+ps throughout the ages.

3 silhouettes lay standing in the middle on the waterfall in black cloaks.

''Are you sure this is the location that our lord set us and the energy you feel is beneath this disturbing mountain?'' asked the middle figure to the humanoid individual of the left.

''Yes, Captain, the energy of the orb is here'' said the other figure coolly

''Very well, lets follow as planned.The monster within should awaken but first lets finish this village off as quickly as possible or maybe chase them away it is the best solution.Also, we have to stir up confusion within the nations for the other plan to succeed.''

''But regardless of this lets follow the best method our lord taught us

Go!'

The two figures jumped from the waterfall while the other sat down and meditated.

A loud howling sound could be heard form the mountains and great winds were forming.

Apolion and Lorenya observed how to figures were flying in high speed towards them.

''d.a.m.n it why now?!'' cursed Apolion as he took Lorenya's hand and run as he felt hostile gazes.

''Wait, where are we going?..Never mind..lets go but stop holding my hand!'' said Lorenya grasping for breath as she felt killing intent swipe thorough the land.

All the inhabitants of this remote part of the village panicked.Dismayal and fear was filling the atmosphere people were murmuring around the street.Houese's doors and windows were open and people were gazing at the mountains..until...

''People from the village of Sparcian you shall all now retreat from this land and don't come back! Tell your Lord we shall take over the mountain and this village's lands shall become a catastrophe after a certain amount of time...

If you want to blame somebody blame yourself to be living in a such a important place!''

The deep authoritative G.o.dly voice resounded through out the Eons in the inhabitant's ears like piercing swords of chaos.

''Thi- what shall we do?'' asked one citizen around.

''I don't know I am scared.'' responded another villager..

''Mami will I be alright I am scared..whats happening?'' the cries of children were present.

...

'I never thought it could reach this far..let me ask them' thought Lorenya before..going to the person above and asking through magic to increase the voice by chanting something..

She knew it was dangerous but she had to do this to understand the situation they were in...

''Who are you? And what's your aim?'' asked Lorenya as she was standing on a peak of a small rounded undulating land.

Apolion observed..They escaped only to be caught so quickly Apolion thought o come back and prepare a offensive since he thought its a attack but they reached faster and not only that..but they were not attacking...it seems they were saying something..

''We are from the Kingdom of Orelia and we will destroy that mountain and that campus you have in this area so I suggest you to scram out of our sight! This is non-negotiable..otherwise..I shall rely on violence !''

Responded the figure.

''Aren't you afraid of war?'' asked Lorenya once again...

''No we do not care. Enough of question! Scram!'' responded the figure before making a magic circle appear in the sky and make a shower of purple light come across all around the place..in the area where Lorenya was.

'Elemental Earth barrier'. She thought to use to defend against herself...and indeed she used it.

The earth suddenly formed a gigantic barrier in the front to defend herself against the foe.

With a big magic circle in the ground.

Apolion immediatly went offensive to activating his armored physiology and Fire techniques activated with a circle around him and tornadoes of fire around the ground

''Master, I have finished! You seem to be faced against an enemy let me a.n.a.lyses him'' Suddenly Alize was active

''Thank you'' Nodded Apolion before jumping high enough with fire strenght that easly..made him jump more than 100 metres from the hill they were standing..

Apolion in his practices back in the forest used to jump and test the fire law's technique's abilities and see what he could do.

''Idiot! You thought you could even come close?'' said the cloaked man furiously while, he extended an arm to create another white magic circle to appear darkness emanating from it and shooting multiple rays of darkness.

The other figure went to immediately to attack Lorenya in a flash.

She dodged the sword attack made of glowing purple energy form the cloaked individual..

They engaged in combat with wind magic circles and chants and circles she was fighting him even thou the long dress could disturb her in movements in case. She immediately ripped half of the part off.

The other figure kept on manifesting swords of purple glows and chants to make s.h.i.+elds of it.

Apolion used the armooured physiology's BROKEN s.h.i.+ELD an ability which allows Apolion to create a blue protective s.h.i.+eld around him to defend itself but the special ability of it was that it is easly breakable..and when it does so.

''Pathetic! You thought you could defeat me with that attack and defend yourself with that s.h.i.+eld?'' asked the figure in ridicule until....

''Wait what?!''

The s.h.i.+eld's attack reflected itself from the s.h.i.+eld after surrounding the s.h.i.+eld..as it slowly broke and Apolion was falling in the ground with a smirk.

Shooo!

The figure immediatly dodged but was. .h.i.t by the arm and leg.

''d.a.m.n b.a.s.t.a.r.d! You make me angry after a long time!'' The ferocity of the figure increased as it engaged in close combat and Apolion was dodging and attacking with fire punches.

Bang!

The belly of the enemy was ripped and a burned mark in its white ripped abs's skin could be seen.

''You!''

Bang! Apolion recieevd another punch in the face filled with extreme brute force as if it was t.i.tanic hammer hitting him to death.

''Ahhh!''

Apolion was bleeding from the right side of the face.A cut could be seen and bruises present..

''Like this? Its called ''Eteric strenght'' a form of the Heavenly Emperor Eter's techniques...''

Lorenya who heard of the conversation was deeply shocked until she was. .h.i.t in the leg by a sword which she hastily managed to dodge but caused a cut.

''Master, this person is someone you are not an opponent to his vrillin and mana concentration is too high and its strength formidable.I have a way to escape'' Suggested Alize after a.n.a.lyzing the opponents..

''Thank you, Alice but is there any other way?'' asked Apolion in a worry...

''Well, actually there is...I feel a stronger energy coming towards us...don't you feel it too?...It's one of the 13..if he wasn't here then we would be in a hard situation and reoccur to extreme methods..'' said Alize to Apolion in a serious way.

''Don't daydream!'' Another hit in Apolion's stomach was given as a consequence for distraction...

The gla.s.ses immediately changed itself into goggles and attached itself to Apolion strongly and this time it provided the opponent's data as if it was a game.

The fight began once again and the opponent decided it was enough.

He flew to the sky.

''You are formidable I wanted to see how you fight as I needed to warm up a bit...It's not arrogant it's just I am qualified but sadly enough, you are pathetic and weak compared to me, look at your wounds...'' the voice resounded like the devil talking to the world.

Apolion was badly injured but enough o make him move...cuts and bruises covered him like decorated human gourmets.

''Oi...I think you should apologize and scram out of here,...but by apology, I meant a repayment..''

Suddenly a manly carefree voice resounded among the chaos of the fight.

Apolion suddenly felt strange as if he could feel a connection of this voice...As if it was familiar..not only that but..his body was glowing..of a yellow light..and feelings emanated to him...as if this voice and presence was a 'family'..Apolion's body felt stronger and a symbol formed in his arm..he could feel it but was covered by his jumper in the right arm.

He decided to see it later...but mostly importantly if he felt this way it could be one of them...as Thariel said...

Apolion out of instinct said in English...

''Are you someone like me too?''

A flas.h.i.+ng figure in a dark manifestation through crows appeared in front of the fight between Apolion and the figure...

''Who you might be?'' asked the other figure from the sky.

''Me? I am just a...traveler..'' said the anonymous figure to him.

It told in English to Apolion.

''h.e.l.lo, Captain..Holder of the 1st tablet 'All-round Harmonizer, we will talk after I finish.''

Apolion was shocked but definitely a fateful encounter bound to happen or so Apolion but his power had a name? How come he didn't know about it?

''I heard you are threatening the villagers in the remote part..you don't want to face the consequences do you? ''asked the anonymous figure in green attire..with a covered face in a hood and mouth open to the light.

''Hmp! So, It's not like you can do anything can you?'' responded the figure mockingly.

''Well, actually...reinforcements are in the way the Lord is coming and you better surrender and provide an explanation.you seem to be the gang leader....Ah also fighting with a lady...what kind of man are you and your friend over there?''

''Hahahah...weakling you can only bark..face the consequences I don't like-'

He immedialty coughed blood and was instantly flown away to the back.

''It can't be ...I just didn't seem him moving...Wait! where is he?'' The cloaked man panicked.

''Let the show begin...'' the antonymous figure appeared behind the cloaked man and was iming to pounch him he could fly with unknown abilities to Apolion.

Lord Maximus: Convenient..for the plot as well as punishments...

Apolion: But you can't just make me be beaten that badly without able to even cause the opponent serious damage...

Lord Maximus: Be grateful you landed a punch...Although, readers could argue why the enemy went down to fight you when it could just finish you off from the sky well...I did it for your dignity..not only..that..but the opponent just like any other human-even thou its unknown for you their race-need some warm up and was at the time too confident in his abilities so he wanted to beat you up into a pulp but let himself...be beaten instead by a punch..

Apolion: forget it...you are helpless my Lord....*Apolion went to his bedroom in the palace depressed..*

''Master, do you think it was a good idea...to make him suffer later on...I think its too excessive...'' *Lorenya popped out of nowhere to ask me*

Lord Maximus: Well , you might be right...I will reduce his pain but it might make him grow...
