The Tylingariea Epic 48 Chapter 7 The Journey Though The Dessert Of Bligh

As they walked through the Dessert of Blight the sun beat down of them and the dessert seemed to span for miles in each direction. Jason held up the map and Nina said to Jason " so with way do we go oh great map reader?" Jason took that as a compliment and said " in all of my years on the cosmic sea I have never seen such a map as this." Luke took the map from Jason and said sharply " in other words you can't read it and you got us lost!"

Jason replied " I have not gotten you lost." Luke looked at the map and saw that the map had perfect detail of the world and showed people moving on the map doing there everyday activities and a temple that had a glowing orb atop it. " we need to go to that temple." Jason looked at his magic compa.s.s and said " we need to go north."

They followed Jason. As they walked continued deeper into the Dessert they noticed that there water was beginning to get low. Ralingar noticed that the sun was setting and he said " we should all stop and rest beside the temple can't be that far from us now." Adam set up the camp from his knapsack and got the food. They sat in a circle and ate a few pieces of salted Kogar meat, some aged chesses and a couple of dried Ravenberrys as well as Sunpeachs and a loaf of Bygar Bread.

Once everyone was asleep expect for Adam and Ralingar but fell asleep around twelve but Adam was still awake he looking at locket that had the picture of a woman and a small girl around one Adam was about to fall asleep when he saw a small girl Adam nearly had a heart attack " no that can't be" Adam stood up the girl laughed and said " come and find me!" Adam worried this might be a trap set by Zargorwarth he got his blade and went after the girl he followed her. he saw her at the entrance to a large cave Adam cried out " spirt what do you want! Why have you taken the form of my daughter?!"

then from the sand a figure cloaked in a long red rob came out and said to the girl " you are set free you have done your part." The girl then screamed as her body cracked Adam could hear her bones breaking, blood watered the sand as the lifeless body turned to nothing but pile of bones. Adam screamed " what in the worlds are you?"

the creature raised his hand and Adam could feel his windpipe closing "I am Lord Ra." he released Adam and in the blink of an eye was next to him and said " It would benefit you greatly if you respected me." Adam stood up and was about to go into his warrior form but Ra put a hand and laughed " it will do you no good to go into your warrior form. I have far to much power and will kill you." Ra paused and said " then maybe I will kill Zargorwarth and take over the world myself." He looked at Adam with a knowing glare "and you and I both know that is not good." Adam stopped if Zargorwarth took over the world that is one thing but this Ra person is different so it would suite him not to fight him.

Adam asked Ra " why are you here?" Ra replied " I have come to give you a warning in due time someone from your group will betray you." Adam asked Ra " who will betray me?" Ra replied " I can not tell you that would break the laws of s.p.a.ce time. My time grows short so I hope that find out who it is that betrays you."

Before Ra left he said " one more thing I would advise that you don't tell any one else this until the time is right." As the Sun rose Adam woke up and saw Kai watching him Adam leapt up and said " don't you ever sleep?" she said " would you want to sleep if you were asleep for three years after your planet was destroyed?" Adam replied " no I guess not." She sat down next to him

" besides you don't hardly sleep either and if I am awake that means more time with you. My Jinji." Kai'la said she put one hand on Adams left hand

Adam could feel her Kyi it was confused and tangled in a web of love, anger and self regert. " Kai'la do you have feelings for me?" Adam asked Kai'la

She paused and said " I don't know. I think so when I am around you I feel safe and calmer. I don't have any fears of being alone."

Adam nodded " I see."

In the morning Adam and Kai'la meet Ralingar and then they packed up the camp once the camp was packed up they headed northward the wind started to pick up and dust and grit began to swirl around them Luke looked around and cried out " we need to take shelter" Ralingar asked Luke "what is going on?" Luke replied " there is going to be a huge dust storm and it is heading this way." Luke put on his Ring and as the Dust storm grew closer

Luke said " everyone get close to me." everyone got close to Luke as he projected a s.h.i.+eld of air around them as the dust and girt blow over them. They waited a couple minutes for dust storm to pa.s.s once it pa.s.sed Luke brought down the air s.h.i.+eld. They all thanked Luke and northward until the five suns were high in sky when they reached the Temple of Blight with was a tall building with five spires reaching into the sky.

There was a huge stone door that was made out of a yellow brick that the whole temple was made of. Ralingar and the rest of the Six walked up to the door of the Temple of Blight and knocked on the door. Then a small man walked to the meet them and said in raspy voice " who are you and what is your business here?" Ralingar replied to the man " I am Ralingar the second son of King Raz of Kal'orerack I come with the Six of Legend we come seeking the Oracle that is protecting the First Dark Ring Fragment." There was a silence and then the man said " you may enter" the man opened the doors and Ralingar and the Six entered the Temple of Blight
