The huge place where Samantha lives is somewhere out of the city so her travel took a lot of time which resulted in her driving until the night has peaked the sky.

When her car was nearing her mansion, as if someone was attentively waiting for her return, the gates just opened on their own without her needing to call out someone. Then, at the front door, a man is already waiting for her to come so he can park her car in the garage.

Samantha bemusedly gave her car keys to the valet as she watches the working ladies of her house takes all the stuff that she bought that day. They carefully took the dozens of shopping bags inside as Samantha ponders at how she got this insanely rich lifestyle. She was just a normal working woman in her previous life who got an average paycheck and was trying to survive the pa.s.sing days with that money. Now, she just spent a year of her living in one day.

"This is so crazy" Samantha whispers to herself, completely lost in thought.

"What's crazy?" a voice her subconscious knows too well said that instantly made her agitated. She took a step back as she tries her hardest to compose her self and her loudly beating heart.

"You're still here?" She asks back. Her hands fidgeting.

Jonathan looks at her intently as he inches closer to where Samantha is. The way he is looking at her made her extremely uncomfortable, it was as if he's examining her closely.

"You cut your hair?" He finally said before finally stepping back, noticing the obvious unease in her face.

"Y-yeah" she awkwardly said. "Why are you still here?"

There was a bit of disgust in Samantha's voice that made Jonathan taken aback.

'She used to slyly plan a lot of things to make him stay to where she is, but now she's in disgust?', Jonathan is confused.

"I asked one of your maids to tell you that we need to talk, but it seems that you were to busy to make time so I waited for your return." He answered.

"Oh..." Samantha exclaimed, remembering that she too has something that she needs to discuss with Jonathan. "Ok, let's talk in my office. I'll just change into something comfortable and I'll meet you there" She casually said. Then, not waiting for his reply, Samantha turns and walks to her room.

Leaving Jonathan there, staring at her turned back. He can't help but wonder why he feels like everything isn't how it's supposed to be.
