The Truth Within Me Book One 18 Today Is The Day

I can't sleep. I'm so anxious. I keep tossing and turning because today is the day I get to learn where Nikki is. I hope I get to go to her! Finally, at 3 in the morning, I give up on sleeping I get up to go getting things ready for the day. I go into my closet to look for something to wear I have to look good for my mate. I hope she will accept me and I terrify she will reject me because of the things I have done and the way I have become. I can't help that I have changed so much in the last 2 years I had to become a stronger Alpha for my pack and for my mate.

I start thinking about the last 2 years everything that's happened. I am a different person now. We used to be known as a Kinder pack. But now we are known as the second most ruthless pack there is. That's really saying something over the last 2 years I have gained close to 5,000 members. I'm a stronger Alpha for it. I have split up my Warriors and to four major groups now.

I have my Elite Warriors.

I have my regular Warriors.

I have my trackers.

I have my guards.

I have 200 teams' of 20 wolves in each team. I have it to where each one is equally split up between my Warriors and trackers. In just the last 2 years I have taken over a total of 17 packs 7 larger packs and 10 smaller packs some by force and some the Alpha come to me for protection. I have earned my reputation for being a ruthless Alpha. I kind of lost myself for the first year to my wolf. I just want to find my mate. After that, I realized the stronger of a pack I have and the more ruthless I am when I find my mate. I will be more able to protect her and I haven't stopped yet. There's a new Alpha coming who needs help. He was recently attacked and lost most of his Warriors.

3 hours later.....

I am in my office with Chris going over everything with him. I let him know that I'm going to be leaving for at least 2 weeks. I then called my Delta in and tell him what he needs to do. I then told him that Chris is going with me. That I'm going to take Five Elite Warriors. 5 regular Warriors and 5 trackers with me. Once everything is settled I sent everybody out except for Chris. We have a meeting we have to get to. I am having all 17 former Alphas and betas come into my office today. I am also having Alpha River and his beta come in to discuss his terms of becoming part of my pack. I am then going to dividing the pack into smaller ones.

4 months ago I had a visit from Alpha Rick. When he came to visit he explain to me how I should divide up my pack. So my enemies do not know how large my pack is but at the same time, I would still remain Alpha. I would just have a second Alphas in place to help with all the paperwork and the pack work. It would make pack life a lot easier for everyone else to get along as well. Rick said that I'm the only person besides his pack that knows this. But he has over 5,000 pack members that he has divided them up in smaller packs. That each one has its own pack name but they are all his packs. He also told me that once I gained Alpha Rivers pack. That I Am actually going to have more pack members than him. He then said I am soon going to put him to shame when I find my mate.

After the meeting is over 4 hours later... I call the number Lisa gave me. I hear Alpha Rick pick up the phone.

Rick, I got some information you're going to want to know but I also have some mother f.u.c.king questions,".

One boy clam down. What information do you have for me?

I need to tell you something else first I was told by a woman named Lisa.

That if I called this number today that I would find my mate.

Let's just say Rick was shocked as h.e.l.l. It took him a few minutes to respond to my answer. He then says," Eric can you tell me exactly what Lisa said to you please"?

Lisa called me a couple of days ago and said that she knows where my mate is. That I am supposed to call this number exactly today at this time. That whoever answers the phone will know how to find my mate and will help me get her back".

Eric do you love your mate? would you do anything to protect her including giving up your life"?

My answer is instant I say," I would give my life up in a heartbeat. I would do anything for my mate no matter what it is or how hard it is. As far as loving her. I have only seen her twice in my life and only talk to her once. But I know if she was to give me a chance. I would love her more than anything in this world.

The next thing I know Rick is laughing a big Hardy laugh on the other end of the phone. I start to get mad and ask him why are you laughing at me?

It's not f.u.c.king funny Rick!! I'm serious you're starting to p.i.s.s me off quit laughing at me"!!!!!

Son, you are not strong enough yet to take me down, boy but calm your self I'm laughing because I have great news for you. My mate just informed me that my daughters are still alive and that they are now in my territory. Guess what my mate's name is? It is Lisa and guess who our daughters are? Nikki and Jessie so yes you're mate is here son. I'm glad you are my daughter's mate".

What the f.u.c.k are you kidding me right now? Rick don't joke it's not funny!!!

Eric, I Am serious now, what information do you have"?

I then quickly tell him everything I know about the rogue attack on Nikki. I also tell him how Zayden told me about Nikki being there as well. I'm not going to lie. Once I hung up the phone I ran through the house screaming like a girl OMG my mate is alive! Nikki's coming home she's alive I scream it as loud as I can. I jumping and run around as crazy as I can. All the while I am yelling at everyone get ready we're leaving now. We're going to bring our Luna home!

About 12 hours later I just crossed Rick's border. We're probably about 20 minutes from his house. Me and my wolf are so f.u.c.king nervous. He keeps howling out and jumping around trying to get me to let him out. I tell him calm down you cannot come out yet Rick might take it as a threat.

Once I get to Rick's house he calls me back to his office to introduces me to his mate Lisa. She runs up to me and hugs me and tells me she so glad to finally meet me in person. Rick pulled her back gently and say," please stop smothering the kid and give him time to get used to everything. That and you can't just go around hugging on everybody. I keep telling you that".

Lisa gave me a small smile and says," I'm sorry. I was just so excited I couldn't help it". Me and Rick just laugh and I say," it's fine". I then say," where is Nikki? Can I see her now please"?

Lisa and Rick Exchange I look before Rick says," sit down son let me talk to you for a minute. He then proceeded to tell me that Nikki does not want to see me today. She will meet me tomorrow".

I think what the f.u.c.k then say," Rick why does my mate not want to see me?

Does she want to reject me"?

Yes I know I sound like I am whining

But "f.u.c.k"!! After 2 years of waiting for my mate and looking everywhere for her. What the h.e.l.l can I say? I just got to know!

Eric no she does not want to reject you. She's nervous and has been through a lot. But that is her story to tell you. Just give her some time tonight ok".

I will tell you this Eric. You need to know that Nikki is very overprotective of Jessie. So whatever you do do not try to threaten or be cruel to Jessie. Because she was Zek's witch".

I am so taken back. I had no idea that Jessie was Nikki's twin sisters. I look up at Rick and Lisa and say," I swear I will protect both of your daughters. I will never do anything to either one of them or let anyone hurt them either".

Rick and Lisa smile at me. We get up and Rick says," let me show you to your side of the house".
