That's how she started her morning. By reading an email from FSB through her rugged laptop. She wondered whether she could erase the bounty on his head or not. She opened the FSB favor files and noticed that there was a bounty removal option. She opened that and search for someone's name.

It was 4 am in the morning. The sky outside was still dark and the room was empty. She felt lonely. She decided to unpack her suitcase into the wardrobe. She headed downstairs where the breakfast was ready. She headed downstairs and noticed that around 20 students were eating in the common room while watching a morning soap opera on the TV.

It was lovely though, she went to the nearest table and started eating her breakfast. Iris came in front of her table, she also brought a cafeteria tray in her hands. Both of them put their bags under the table where they were eating. The breakfast was waffles with maple syrup.

"We're not in the same cla.s.s," that was the first thing that Iris said in the morning. Lizeth continued eating her breakfast. She finished her breakfast and put the tray at the was.h.i.+ng queue. She went to the main school building, her cla.s.s. There were only 15 students in each cla.s.s, there were 10 cla.s.ses for each grade. So in total, there were around 450 students for that school.

She waited outside of the cla.s.sroom, the teacher told her to wait outside since she was a transfer student. She made sure that she looked like an average school girl. She made sure that n.o.body looked at her scars that were obviously can't be hidden. She just didn't want to leave a bad impression on her new cla.s.smates.

The teacher opened the door, a female teacher of course, "Please come in," Lizeth walked through that door. The whole cla.s.s's attention was directed to her. It made quite a commotion. Well, it was expected.

"Hmm, the way she dresses clearly says that she is an obedient student, but the scars. What the h.e.l.l she has been through?"

The teacher told Lizeth to introduce herself. She stepped in front of the whiteboard, "My name is Lizeth Grant, you can call me Lizeth, nice to meet you all," she said.

The teacher told her to sit down. She sat down in the middle corner of the cla.s.sroom. The favorite place, near the window. The teacher continued her subject, it was math.

For Lizeth who hadn't studied for two weeks, in her perception of time, a lot of X's, and the combination of Sin, Cos, and Tan certainly confused her a lot. She barely could keep up with the subjects. She was known as a smart student in her previous school, now, she was only a below-average student. She needed to do a catch up with the subjects.

The teacher gave her an a.s.signment, of course, she barely could do it, 'Holy s.h.i.+t, what kind thing is this?' she asked herself. She only could answer three questions out of the ten questions.

"Why don't you try to subst.i.tute this into this?" Another student pointed her finger at her work. It was really the solution.

"Thanks," she continued her headache with the new question. That student further guided her until she finished all of her a.s.signments. She was very kind. She helped her.

The next subject was physics. As if math wasn't worse enough, physics was math with a lot of twists. The combination of M, v, and t was really confusing. It was very hard, that student that was helping her, helped her again.

"You should change into kilogram first, then you count it. You won't get the result with gram," She said again. She was right again. Who was this person that was as smart as Lizeth in the pre-coma years? She was very smart.

She finished her a.s.signment and she thanked her again. "What's your name?" Lizeth asked as she thanked her.

"My name is Clara McNamara, just call me Clara," She said to her. It was break time. The girl was sitting in front of her. She was a girl with curly hair. She looked at her, creepily. She was observing her face thoroughly.

She almost touched her face, like a lover. Lizeth held her hands before she touched her face, "It's a private area," Lizeth held her hands firmly. She apologized.

Still, Clara being Clara, she was very curious about the large amount of scar on her face. "What happened to you?" She asked.

"Car crash and coma for two months and a half," Lizeth lied. She wouldn't expose that the scars were from bullet wounds.

"Oh, that's why you missed a lot. Poor you. Want me to help you?" Clara offered her help.

Lizeth agreed. A tutor would surely help her to catch up with the subjects, "Sure, where we should study?"
