With her reflexes and focus ability, Lizeth slowed down her perception of time and disarmed that pistol from Iris's hands. She grabbed the pistol and asked her, "Where did you get this?"

"It's airsoft."

Lizeth opened the magazine and it was an airsoft gun. Lizeth glad that she didn't have to kill her right in that place. You couldn't play a gun in front of a paranoid person with a bounty.

"Where did you get this?"

"The disciplinary committee has a lot of it," Iris said. A disciplinary committee has airsoft? That was something new. Was it possible that the disciplinary committee was a militia group? Impossible.

"Airsoft gun? Is there an airsoft club?" Lizeth asked her. She wanted to join that club, maybe she would get the opportunity to walk around with her real gun. But she also doubted it since it was the disciplinary committee.

"Nah, it is used for "security". The committee has been disbanded due to reasons. Their club room is left alone now with a lot of guns," Iris said.

"I see. Well, so you just came here to pull these tricks on me?" Lizeth asked as she gave back Iris the pistol. She told Iris to leave her room since she was very tired and she wanted to study for tomorrow's subjects. Iris acknowledged that and she left the room.

She studied for an hour before she went to bed. She slept in the soft comfy bed.

Next day. Cla.s.sroom. Lizeth sat down in her usual place, right behind Clara's desk. She hadn't come yet.

Where's Clara? She usually came early. Clara that usually sat down in front of her was gone. Did she come late because she took a contract yesterday? Impossible, a nerd like that couldn't take a new contract.

She finally came through, her face was very unhappy, to be honest. Her usual smile was gone and got replaced by a wry look on her face. She sat right in front of her.

"Good morning Clara."

"f.u.c.k off."

What the in the actual f.u.c.k? Expected. But not in this kind of way, maybe stress. .h.i.t her too hard. Who knows? You couldn't expect a nerd to turn into a cold-blooded killer like Lizeth within a day.

The first subject was math. Again. Lizeth would ask Clara about the subject as usual, but she responded with a different tone than usual.

"Could you buzz off? I'm busy here."

Rude. Was it stress or the pressure of being watched by an unknown person? Clara had no idea that the person that threatened her was someone that sat behind her. Lizeth actually liked the power of domination. All she needed to do was texting her and she would come running at her desired place. Basically, turning Clara into a guard dog.

Of course, since Clara was a student, she expected her to take a contract after school hours. Just like her. She wondered how Clara would perform. Well, she could die trying.

"Clara, could you spend time with me at the library after school?" Lizeth asked her as the bell rang and indicating that school was over

"Sorry, but I will be busy with something," Clara said as she packed her bag. Maybe she knew that not doing the contract was practically suicide so she would take a contract immediately.

Clara left the cla.s.s as if she was in a great hurry. The whole cla.s.s was talking about her change in behavior.

"What's wrong with Clara?"

"Probably she wants to study hard. You know, ambitious student's problem."

"She's so rude today."

"What happened to our cla.s.s primadonna? She usually teaches someone or goes to the library."

Everyone noticed her change, but the only person that knew the reason was Lizeth. She knew the exact reason why Clara's personality changed. She decided to go to the library alone to study and clean the library.

She got out of the cla.s.s and walked downstairs to the library. The library was still the same as she left it yesterday. Messy as h.e.l.l. She picked up all the books and put it inside the book racks. After that, she sat down on a chair in the library and grabbed her books from her bags.

There was a computer in that library. She was curious about the content of the library computer. If she could access it, maybe she could have the whole school information just like what she and Lynn did at the old school. She abandoned her books and went for that computer in the library. As expected though, the computer was locked by a pa.s.sword. Luckily, the System Hack could bypa.s.s it.

She plugged her phone into the computer and broke through the security system of that computer. The pa.s.sword was very familiar too.

'Does every library admin have a secret admiration for Hitler or something?' Lizeth asked herself as she opened the file inside of the computer. There was nothing important as fast as she could see. Most of the time, the contents were about the information of a borrowed book from the library. The school server was unavailable from that computer. 'There wouldn't be any adventure here I guess,' Lizeth turned off that computer as nothing was interesting enough for her. She had a notification about an emergency mission on the Armory System app.

She opened her phone. There was a new mission for her albeit there was no reward. It was a mission about Clara.

'Fair enough, let's go and rescue my princess from the dead,' she accepted that mission and went out of the library. Suddenly, two seniors appeared out of nowhere, blocking her way out.

"What's going on here fellas?" Lizeth asked as two seniors taller than her were in her way.

"You know, the usual. Protection money," One of the seniors said. She tried to intimidate her, but Lizeth didn't care. She needed to get out of that school ASAP or Clara would die.

"Look, I'm not even a member of the club. Please let me pa.s.s," She broke through the barricade of seniors and walked away. The seniors were furious, but they didn't do anything. Lizeth hoped that they won't be a problem in the future. She went outside of the school complex, hoping that she could save her friend in time. Killing her with gasoline would leave a bad taste in her mouth, she'd rather had some thugs kill Clara than her own hands.
