"s.h.i.+t, the cars are armored," Lizeth reloaded his PKP as Clara was focused on to the road.
The speedometer showed that their speed was 120km/h which was very fast considering that they were driving in the middle of a town.
She finished reloading and put her PKP on the window again and continued blasting the cars with 7.62x54mm bullets. Still, the armor plating wasn't penetrated by that bullet.
Lizeth: "Lima, do you have anything that can deal with armored vehicles?"
Lima: "Sorry, this is my most penetrating weapon. The Anti-materiel unit was Alpha, Charlie, or Hotel."
Lizeth: "You don't have an RPG or something?"
Lima: "Nope."
Lizeth: "Ok."
Lizeth didn't panic. She thought of a plan that would make sure that both of them weren't pursued by the reinforcements. The plan must be simple. Changing the driver wouldn't work at that point. Lizeth didn't have the grenade launcher on her rifle either. She wasn't in good condition after all.
"d.a.m.n, their drivers are good," Clara commented as she took a corner.
"Their drivers were average, your driving skill is s.h.i.+t," Lizeth said as she closed the door and thought for a plan. A plan. She remembered something. Lynn had an anti-materiel rifle, she could disable those vehicles right?
Lizeth: "Lima, this is Lynx. Where are you?"
Lynn: "In that parking garage. I'm still holding my AMR though. What do you need?"
Lizeth: "We will drive to that parking garage. Could you set up a quick ambush or something?"
Lynn: "I have some unsold anti-tank mines. I think I can rig it with C4 charges."
Lizeth: "Great. Set it up in the entrance of that parking garage."
Lynn: "Copy that."
"Change of plan. Drive back to the parking garage, Lynn had set up an ambush for us," Lizeth told Clara and the car made a U-turn to return to that parking garage. Clara was more reliable than Lizeth had thought. Maybe it was because she was the daughter of a Russian spy.
Two cars were still chasing them, the parking garage was right in front of them. Clara drove through that parking garage at a high speed and made a stop around 20 meters from the entrance.
Lynn: "Bada Bing."
A clicking noise. BOOM. an explosion appeared right from below the entrance. It threw the cars 20 meters away from the entrance. The remnants of that car were burning sc.r.a.p metals.
Lynn: "Bada boom"
"Target eliminated. Great job Lima," Lizeth said as she got out of her car. The car was full of scratches and dents from the bullets. Still, none of it penetrated to the interior of the car. Lizeth took a peek at her pa.s.senger, "Looks like she's ok," she had pa.s.sed out.
A car appeared from the ramp of the parking garage. It was Lynn's car. Weirdly enough, there was a pa.s.senger in the front seat of that car. The pa.s.senger was an FGM-148 Javelin anti-tank missile launcher. 'She just said that she didn't have anti-tank weaponry right?'
Lizeth approached her car, "I thought you don't have any anti-tank weaponry."
"I just bought it. Pretty neat huh," Lizeth said.
"Yeah. I agree," Clara walked with a briefcase to Lynn's car and changed position with her. Lynn moved to the backseat of that luxury car and Clara drove the car.
"Well, How's Serval performance?" Lynn asked.
"Decent enough. She needed more training though," Lizeth said.
"I allocate some skill points to her skill tree. I forget to introduce that to my previous trainee," Lynn said.
"What happened to him?" Lizeth asked as she gave back Lynn's night vision goggles.
"He's in a better place. See you later Lynx," Clara drove away from that parking garage and Lizeth was left alone to deal with the hostage. Nevertheless, she wouldn't regret the fact that she rescued her friend again.
Lizeth entered the car and looked at Iris. She had to return her, but where? The police station would cause more trouble for her while returning her to the dormitory wasn't exactly the brightest idea.
[20.000 Dollar has been transferred]
'Nice. I have around 320k out of the 10 million bounties,' Lizeth said as she closed her phone and noticed that Iris was sleeping in her car. She woke her up.
"Wake up," she shook her body and she woke up.
She looked around, "Where am I?" Iris asked.
"You're safe. Where's your home? I need to take you back," Lizeth said as she drove away from that car park.
Silent.
'Answer me d.a.m.nit.'
"Could you take me to this address?" Iris handed her phone to Lizeth. It was the address of a school. It was Trinity high school.
"Ma'am, this is a school address isn't it?" Lizeth gave back Iris's phone.
"Yes. I don't need to return to my father," Iris answered. She knew that Iris lived in the dorm, but she didn't know that Iris wasn't close to her father.
'I risk my life for you. Give me a payment or something will ya?' Lizeth said in her heart.
"Hmm, let me see," Lizeth opened her phone and pressed something. It was the FSB's favor option. She scrolled to the [Adding Bounty] favor. She searched for Iris's name and found it with her ID detail.
"Could you give me your home address?" She showed her a page with Iris picture and a bounty of 100.000$ with an official FSB's stamp, "Or you might want to end up in Russia perhaps?" she said.
"Who are you?" Iris started panicking.
"I'm an FSB agent sweetie. I'm from Russia and I can do multiple things with you. You better don't tell your friends or you will end up in Gulag," Lizeth threatened her as she drove through the night streets.
"What do you want?" Iris asked.
"Your. Home. Address," Lizeth said and she quickly gave her the phone with her home address. His father lived outside of the town.
"Well then. Let's return you to your parents."
