Their eyes met against another. Clara aimed her machine gun at Lizeth. Clara pulled the trigger of the machine gun. All of the machine gun rounds immediately flew to Lizeth's body. Those 200 rounds broke through the armor plating of Lizeth's body armor. Some of them even ricochet from Lizeth's body.
Clara: "I finally kill you."
Lizeth: "....."
Lizeth was dead. Blood was coming out of multiple holes from her body. At that point, Clara couldn't differentiate the bullet wounds since there were too many of them.
Clara walked closer to Lizeth, she moved her face closer to her. Clara looked at her parents' killer, she felt glad that she had done that.
"Sayonara, Lynx," Clara put a hand grenade on Lizeth's feet. Clara walked away from that parking garage, into her car.
She looked at Lizeth who was bleeding out at that rubble of parking garage. Clara drove her car in happiness as she was successful at killing Lizeth. At that point, she still had no idea who Lynx was.
'I did it. I did it,' Clara drove her car in a straight line. She cheerfully drove her car. Suddenly, she got a phone call from one of her friends, Lizeth.
Lizeth: "So, how was it?"
Clara: "How was what?"
Lizeth: "How does it feel? Killing your parents' killer?"
Clara: "Feels good bruh."
Lizeth: "Yeah, (Coughing Blood)."
Clara: "Lizeth, are you ok?"
Lizeth: "I'm fine, I know that this day will come eventually. I just haven't predicted precisely how will you do it."
Clara immediately stopped her car in the middle of the road. She was surprised by Lizeth's statement, she hadn't had the idea on who Lizeth was, but she was worried that Lizeth knew the precise accident.
Clara: "What do you mean? Do you see me changing?"
Lizeth: "What do I mean? Hehe, what does I meant isn't important at this moment. You get your revenge, that's good."
Clara: "What are you talking about? You're saying gibberish."
Lizeth: "Really? I will be dead if not for my preparation."
Clara: "What preparation? What are you talking about?"
Lizeth: "Hmm, at least I'm not the one who rigged the whole parking garage just to kill one person, isn't that right Clara, or Serval should I say?"
Clara: "What do you mean?"
Lizeth: "Haha, nice one. You were trying to kill me, well done. I will be dead soon, but I won't go down without a fight. Say goodbye, Clara."
Clara: "Huh, what are you talking about?"
As it turned out, Lizeth sp.a.w.ned her Javelin from the armory system and crawled on the ground until she got a visual on Clara's car. All of that talk was to give Lizeth some time for her to crawl to the road.
Lizeth: "(Beeping Noise) Good night, rusky."
A javelin missile was launched from Lizeth's shoulder, the missile flew away and hit Clara's car, it made a big explosion.
'See, I won't go down that easily,' Lizeth dropped the Javelin on the ground. She felt very tired because of the blood loss. At the same time, the medical team had arrived to help her.
Aline and five other people got out of a car and walked to Lizeth's direction, all of them were carrying a medic bag on their back. Lizeth's vision was blurry. She couldn't see anything that resembles someone that she knew.
"Hey, I'm here. Everything will be fine," three people were doing medical procedures at her such as placing a ventilator at her mouth, placing a tourniquet on her foot and etc.
Lizette tried to get a better view of the person that was rescuing her, it was Lynn. She had a new arm and was wearing a medical eye patch on her eyes. "You're going to be ok, I promise," Lynn grabbed her right hand.
Lizeth just smiled, "You know, you're right, but I'm too tired." Lizeth closed her eyes as Lynn tried to keep her awake. But it was too late.
"LYNX! LYNX! NOOO, not again."

'Maybe I died, maybe I'm not. But where am I right now?' All Lizeth could see was a dark abyss. She was sure that she helped the contractors, but she was sure that she has died too, her blood loss was far greater than Lynn. There was no way that she could survive.
'So heavy, yet so smooth,' Lizeth tried moving her right hand. She opened her eyes slowly, or should we say her left eye.
Her right hand landed at Lynn who was sleeping on top of her belly. She was still in her tactical gear, albeit without her helmet and her balaclava. She was sleeping with her gla.s.ses located right on top of Lizeth's chest.
"Hi, good afternoon," Lizeth tried saying that single sentence. Lynn immediately woke up and immediately hugged her. She immediately shed some tears on her eyes.
"I thought I will never see you again," Lynn hugged her. She almost took off the oxygen pipe, Nasal Cannula, from Lizeth's nose.
"We just met last afternoon right. It's even no longer than two hours."
"Aline told to say it slowly, but I think it's better for you to know how long you've been asleep. I'm afraid, it's been another three months."
Lizeth didn't panic as she had gone through the same thing before more or less, "What time is it?"
"7.30 PM."
"What date is it?"
"Sat.u.r.day, 21st of November."
Sat.u.r.day, 21st of November 2020. 1721 Hours. FOB. Lizeth's room.
"Hmph, yes, I heal up too fast if it not has been three months. So, what has changed?" Lizeth asked as Aline entered her room and approached her.
"Well, well, well, our crazy son of a b.i.t.c.h has woken up," Aline said as she smiled at Lizeth. Lizeth smiled back at her.
"Lynn, what did I miss?" Lizeth asked as she tried to change her position to sit down on the edge of the bed. She also noticed that her severed leg had been amputated.
"Nothing, except that I rescued the other one," Aline was referring to Clara. Lizeth was surprised when she heard that Clara was still alive.
Aline brought a wheelchair for Lizeth, it was made so she could visit her killer. Well, Aline did that since she wanted Lizeth and Clara finished their business since she didn't want contractors killing each other. It was bad for business since killing a contractor took a lot of effort.
"Lizeth, you need to make a peace with Clara," Lynn said, "I can't let both of you die like that."
"Hmmph, I will apologize, but will he accept it?" Lizeth moved to her wheelchair and Lynn helped her moving by moving the IV bag and oxygen tube.
Lynn started pus.h.i.+ng Lizeth's wheelchair to the hallway of the FOB. The wheels of the wheelchair continued to roll down the hallway. Their destination was Clara's room.
When they arrived at Clara's room, Aline knocked on the door. Clara had already awoken as well. She was watching the television in her room.
"Clara, you have a guess," Aline said as Lynn pushed the wheelchair closer to Clara's bed. Aline and Lynn left that room with Lizeth and Clara being left alone to solve their problems.
Clara and Lizeth were staring against each other. There were no hates between both of them, only regrets. Listen moved closer to Clara and she found out that Clara had lost both of her legs and one of her eyes.
Lizeth looked closer at her face, she didn't show any hostile intention although she tried to kill her earlier.
"So..." Lizeth quietly asked her.
Clara sighed, "I know what you will say. Yes, no hard feelings."
Lizeth asked her again, "Are you sure?"
Clara answered, "Unlike you, I know that I've been sleeping for three months. That's the amount of time that I spent thinking about you. No hard feelings, let's just call yesterday as a misunderstanding."
Lizette smiled and offered her right hand, "Deal. So, no hard feelings. The past is the past, agree?"
"Agree," Clara shook her right hand.
The hostility between Lizeth and Clara ended there. Both of them still had unanswered questions, but it was more than enough for Lizeth for not having someone that was looking at her head all the time.
Clara also accepted the reality that she had to work side by side with her parents' killer, but she also had accepted that killing Lizeth wouldn't bring her parents back. It was better to get along with her.
"Lizeth?" Clara asked.
"Yes?" Lizeth nodded.
"Why didn't you finish me at my house? Just let it be to be the ends of it," Clara asked that question. Lizeth though of a complex answered, but a simple one would suffice at that point.
"Hmm, The Russian Federation wants you dead, but you're my friend. I can't do that," Listen answered.
"Hmph, spoken like a true friend," Clara answered as both of them smiled and embraced each other. As they embraced each other, Aline came to that room with a pair of high-tech bionic legs.
Aline approached Clara, "Hmm, you're healthy now. Let's remove this," Aline removed the oxygen tube and Lynn removed Clara's IV bag from her hand. Clara was in stable condition at that point.
"When you're back at the auto-doc, I did a neural rerouting on your nerves so you don't feel any random ticklish when you moved your new bionic legs, but still, the phantom pain will still be there," Aline said as she helped Clara wore her new pair of legs.
Lizeth moved closer to Lynn as Aline taught Clara on how to use the bionic legs. Lynn smiled at Lizeth, "You have a new arm too?" Lizeth asked as Lynn took off the glove on her right arm. As it turned out, it was a black bionic arm that was placed on her hand.
The bionic arm looked very mechanical, but yet, the movement looked similar to a real arm. The movement was so fluid that it didn't look like bionic at all. In short, Lynn was flexing her new arm that was better than her old arm.
"t.i.tanium alloy, almost indestructible," Lynn flexed her new leg.
"Whatever," Lizeth said. Aline had finished teaching Clara how to use her new bionic legs. Clara had begun walking around with her new pair of legs. 'What the heck? Why didn't I get one?' Lizeth felt jealous. Lynn just smiled at her since she knew that she was jealous.
"For you, just the tube and IV only. We don't have any bionic for you yet," Aline said as she removed her IV bag. Lynn walked away from her. Aline used that opportunity to whisper to her.
"I have bionics, but for Patrick. Now, this is a good chance for you to return," Aline whispered. Lizeth would use that opportunity for her to return back to Patrick.
