Trapped In Time 65 The Flat Earth Part 2

The Magical World was actually, a man-made satellite. It had been looked after by others because Earthlings had forgotten that it existed. This was very strange indeed. Why had everyone on Earth forgotten about this satellite? It was strange that the scientist had made a flat satellite and called it the 'Magical World'. They had created it as a joke to taunt the scientists, geologists, astronomers, etc. who believed that everything was to be round like the planets, stars, the sun, the moon, etc. Actually, mankind knew 7000 years ago that the world was round and their science, was much advanced than what it is today.

This flat satellite created that time was similar to the s.p.a.ce stations and s.p.a.ce labs stationed high in s.p.a.ce during present-day Earth Era. The present-day satellites came into existence during the 20th century. The flat satellite could be accessed from s.p.a.ce by means of s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps as well as through the portal for Earthlings.

To make it realistic, the scientists had put in a lot of machinery to manage the gravity, carbon dioxide, oxygen, water, a false night sky with stars and the moon as well as a false blue day sky with numerous clouds and the sun. It was not an easy task. To make it authentic they had added plants, gra.s.s, trees, shrubs, fruit-bearing trees as well as birds, fish, and animals. The satellite was a replica of the Earth, but the Earth they created was flat and not round just to show that such a creation was possible.

The machinery that managed the flat satellite also managed the welcoming booming voice which had greeted them when they had entered the Magical World. It was a computer generated voice but due to a defect in the system, it was not accompanied by an image and the fault needed to be rectified by sending a mechanic to repair the defect. To do so, someone would need to be deputed from here to the mountain behind them. There was a control room which encompa.s.sed the management of many things.

The control room, in the mountain, managed the sky color for the night sky with the moon and the stars, as well as the day sky with the sun and the clouds. The aperture between the night and the day skies was also managed from here. It was obvious that the aperture could not be left open throughout the day or the night, as leaving it open would mean the escape of all the gases, especially oxygen and carbon dioxide. Thus the opening of the aperture would be controlled from the mountain to widen it when a satellite approached and keep it closed when no s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p was seeking entry.

If s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps were coming into this Magical World then it meant that there was a landing pad for these s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps as well as a take-off area. There would be a lot of scientists, engineers, and technicians working there.

"Can we walk to the mountain to see the control room and the machinery there, especially when it is in operation during the landing of a s.p.a.ces.h.i.+p?" Zen inquired.

"We would like to see the landing areas of the s.p.a.ces.h.i.+ps," Zoya added with a gleam in his eyes.

" You cannot be the only person in this Magical World? We would like to meet other people here," Tina added. "We not only wanted to see and meet other people on the Magical World but also interact with them to know their lives and how the satellite worked, etc."

In their own world, they could never ever dream of getting onto any satellite or s.p.a.celab to see it unless they were able to get into a s.p.a.ce exploration program by studying hard through their university years.

They had left the Utopia world when it was dark but when they had crossed over it was quite light here. Hence, they were feeling hungry and sleepy. They asked the Old man that they wanted to eat something and sleep thereafter, for some time.

"We are hungry and also tired," Sherpa said.

"Please, can you tell us where we can get some food?" Chris asked.

Nanu asked, "Do we need to cook it after getting the vegetable and ingredients or we can get cooked food?"

The Old man laughed and said, "There is an arrangement for you all to eat and sleep. The area where the arrangement has been made is behind my hut. This is where all the Earthlings were accommodated in the past."

"You will get cooked food also, but we only use vegetables."

"Non-Vegetarian food is only for the Aliens as they eat more of non-veg stuff sometimes raw and sometimes cooked."

Follow me, I will take you to your dormitory as well as the hall where lunch is being served."

The Old man had realized that they were caught in something like a Jet lag. So he led them to a building which was a resting area. Even the Orbs accompanied the Old man.

The surprise was that the building was covered with carpet gra.s.s. In fact, all the buildings were like this. On the sides were trees. From up front, no one could figure out that this was a building. There was a door and as they entered it, they saw that it was well lit like the lit tunnels in the Utopia world.

Upon entering, the Old man opened a door on the right and told them this door led to the dining hall. The kitchen was further ahead. Saying this he said he would be back in a minute.

He walked to the kitchen carrying the vegetables he had been was.h.i.+ng when they had met him.

Soon he was back, without the vegetables, and told them that lunch was being cooked.

" There is about 1 hour for Lunch to be served. So, I will show you your dormitories. You will stay in these dorms till your work is done."

"To the left are two doors. The first one is the boy's dormitory which has 6 beds made ready for them. The adjacent one is the girl's dormitory and at present, it has 5 beds made ready for the girls."

"The Orbs can figure out which dormitory they will guard as I cannot figure out their gender," said the Old man with a smile.

The Orbs did not mind it, they knew it was difficult for people to figure out their gender. They divided among themselves and made two rows.
