He was given the additional duty of driving people away by wearing a costume of white hair to pa.s.s off as a Yeti. He had helped the campers to see the cave stocked with dry gra.s.s to make a campfire etc. He had wanted to help them by showing them the route to the village where they had been heading. He wanted to help as he was curious about us and his own people bullied him as they considered him a misfit.

He explained that the scientists were working on making a functional time machine which would take them into the past or the future. That huge brain was actually the brains of all the scientists who have lived here and died. After death of each scientist, his brain was removed and added to the existing brain. The huge brain functioned through a system of wires, like nerves. The person dies but the brain lives on to help in this time machine project. Even his father's brain was in this huge brain. They had 3 more such machines in other towns.

Accidently, Danny pressed a b.u.t.ton. Thereafter there were sparks seen coming out of the machines and the huge brain, as if something had gone wrong. The huge brain shriveled up to the size of a tennis ball. All the machines stopped functioning. A white cloud engulfed them. Soon the cloud subsided but the machines were damaged beyond repairs. The two telephone booths like containers had shattered gla.s.s, making their use impossible. The computer terminals which were wired to the brain had also burnt up.

Everyone was thinking about moving ahead when a cracking sound was heard from the shriveled brain and blobs of white light came out. There were about 75 of these blobs. Zia Ma'am explained that these blobs of light were Orbs. She had seen such oval-shaped b.a.l.l.s of light many years ago while she was traveling to her home from her university when night had fallen but this was the first time she was seeing so many of them.

She explained that an Orb is a globe of light or light ball. You would normally see orbs in videos or in pictures, but you can also see them with the naked eye. These orbs are made of light and can appear in a variety of different colors, but most of them are transparent, white, green, red or blue. They are seen floating in mid-air moving quickly. Orbs of light are said to be the manifestation of energy. Hence, they are sometimes referred to as ghost orbs or spirit orbs.

They are seen at night, in areas where there have been paranormal activities. Ghost orbs and spirit orbs may be seen around places like graveyards or churches, or when activities such as séances or clairvoyance work are carried out. Orbs have also been reported in areas where many deaths have occurred. Orbs are seen around people too. If someone has an orb or multiple orbs that "hang around", they are often more of a spiritual person and may experience other paranormal phenomena, although this is not always the case.

Orbs can also be seen in the aura of an individual, especially if the person is psychic or spiritualist. This would indicate that they can communicate with spirits or energies, or simply those energies or spirits are trying to communicate with that person.

Mono had been listening to Zia's explanation about Orbs with great attention. He figured out that these 75 blobs were the energies of the 75 scientists who had died and whose brains were amalgamated with the huge brain. How disgusting had his people become? They had literally captured the soul through their brains to work for them. His father and grandfather must also be two orbs out of these 75 orbs.

Just then, two of the Orbs drifted towards Mono and hovered above his head. He felt one was his father and the other was his grandfather. He could feel a lot of love emitting from these orbs. He closed his eyes and actually felt that these two persons were in front of him.

Zia came near and tried to connect with the orbs. The orbs gave a message that they would transmit messages from all the Orbs to everyone present in the room through Mono.

Mono closed his eyes for about 5 minutes to received the message from the two orbs who were his relatives.

All those present in the inner cave could see Mono nodding his head now and then and realized that something important was being conveyed to him by the orbs of his relatives. The rest of the Orbs were huddled together waiting patiently for these two orbs to return.

After some time the two Orbs moved back. Mono then called the group towards him. The Orbs have told him many things explaining what all has happened in their lives and what ails their society. So everyone was asked to listen carefully.

Mono told them that their society comprised of Scientists and thinkers who came from the cities above as well as from other parts of the world about 250 years ago. They all wanted to make a different society of the best people from all walks of life.

There were initially 100 families which were divided into 25 for each town and thus 5 towns were established. They were to live separate lives but the five towns would have their local administration as well as send their representative to the main Council at our head town. So towns were named 'Town I', 'Town J', 'Town K', and 'Town M'. They were presently in 'Town M' which was the biggest and the most developed. The representatives from the other three Towns and Town M send their representatives @ 2 each to the council which was headed by the 'Administrator'. This is like the country having state governments who rule the states but they sent representatives to the Central Government where things have to be seen from the holistic perspective. These representatives chose the Administrator from among the 8 people and the post vacated was filled up by another representative of that town. There was another town called' 'Town L' which was mysteriously abandoned.
