When the array activated many black colored sharp pointed rods came out of it and made a birdcage like cage which imprisoned Rex

It didn't stopped there, Rex saw that many sharp pointed thorns started to grow from the rods around him.. they only stopped after they were just few millimetres away from piercing his body

The Beast looked into Rex's eyes for a long time before he waved his paw and the array around Rex disappeared

And a layer of black ice started to appeared on his fingers, Rex quickly retracted his hand but the ice was still on his finger furthermore it started to spread all over his hand at a rapid speed

The hand covered in black ice fell down, Rex tightly grasped his left hand due to pain but soon Rose's restoration kicked in

Rex saw his whole left hand stared to grow again at a rapid speed

As for the hand that was cut, it turned into light particles and disappeared but the black ice still had its imprint inside it like a fossil
