Super Soldier System 9 A Noose Tightens

I am King Christopher Valheim, King of Kalend, a matriarchaly ruled kingdom, some might say that being the king of such a kingdom is pointless. But not to me, for my reason is now sitting on the high throne that we have fought together for, My Queen, My Love and My Sole Reason, The Queen of Kalend, Lilian Kalek. Even after mothering our two angels, she is as beautiful as ever, i have been by her side for the last 20 years, i was there when she fought her sisters for the throne and ruthlessly slayed her sisters to win the throne, to the world she seemed cold, but when all was over and we had won...

She howled and cried in my arm's begging for forgiveness, she didn't want to do it, but for the kingdom's stability she persevered until then. That is who my queen is, a woman cold on the outside but once she opens up to you, will show you the brightest of smiles. We have always fought together even when i was just her servant and today is no different.

"He is nothing but a stain in the royal families record, you have to get rid him!"

"What did you say Old Hag?!"

"Chris... please calm down"

I turned to look at my queen and then at that old b.i.t.c.h that's itching to die and calmed myself down.

"Hmph, like a good dog you behave when your told"

I grit my teeth and clenched my fists in anger but remained silent.

"Orena, you were saying?"

My wife however kept her calm, but i know better than anyone he's much more angrier and prime to kill than i am.

"Your 'Son' is nothing but a shame to the royal families reputation as one's blessed with the G.o.ddesses strength and her fertility"

The Church of Magica, is the national religion of Keland and the head G.o.d of the religion is Thre'cia, the G.o.ddess of magic and protector women, the supposed reason for the abundance of magic crystals in the country is said to be her blessing, she is another reason why women have a higher standing here. Another 'blessing' she gave, was that the royal family of Keland can only gave birth to female descendants with high affinity to magic, but then my son was born.

Jun was born with a null physique and no affinity for magic, n.o.body in Keland or Other Kingdoms for that matter knew of his birth except for those who are gathered in this hall today, with no hope of being a warrior or mage he couldn't possibly survive in this kind of environment if it weren't for our constant fight against the n.o.bility who wanted him erased from existance, they have no good reason to as to why they just don't want him around, maybe they felt that their positions being threatened so wanted get rid of the possibility, i didn't know and i didn't care, all care about is that they are trying to take my son which is unforgivable!

"Either you send him far away from here or we get a little more forceful"

Lilian said with a cold glare on her beautiful face.

"Of course not, we do not dare to threaten you your majesty"

She said as she opened her fan to cover up her obvious smile.

"...Fine, i'll think about it"

"Dear, you couldn't possibly be thinking of-?!"

"Christopher, right now, i am the queen of this country so address me so as your majesty"

"But, but..."

I tried to argue, but no word's other than but came out of my mouth.

"Fufufu, think real hard about your majesty"

And with that she turned and left, and so does all the other n.o.bles as they followed her outside the hall, they had us cornered.

"Dear..."

Before i could finish my words, a head is already burried in my chest and two hands with nails digging into my flesh, but thats not important, all thats important is that she is crying in my arms and i need to comfort her. And so i pulled her into my embrace.

"*Sob Chris, i try to be a good Queen and Mother, but i can only choose one, why can't i be both,*Sob i love our country but i love our family more, yet i can't just sacrifice the stability of millions of lives by just leaving the throne, i wish i could just leave but i don't have the heart to do it!"

"...I understand, i've always understood, if you were just a woman that could leave the fates of millions to uncertainty, i would have not fallen for you"

I said as i patted her quivering back and doing my best to console her. And it seemed to have worked, after a while she calmed down a bit.

"...Where are we gonna send him?"

"...I don't know, but definitely somewhere safe"

"Of course..."

And like that the royal couple stayed silent as they embraced each other.

Meanwhile, our protagonist is oblivious to the conspiracy to get rid of him and is making a sandwich.

"Where is everybody?"

He said as he took a bite out of his sandwich.

(No life signs within my 50 meter radar)

"*Munch *Gulp What could they be doing, and also you have a radar?"

"Gotta check you out later, first we test fire Luxus"

"Let's get the extra mags in my room"

I said as i got out the kitchen and into the main corridor and walk back to my room, as we got close though, the System gave a warning.

(Confirmed and he's not friendly, i can detect huge amounts of different types of blood on his body, he's obviously a killer)

"Looks like we have our target, ah wait, i don't want a repeat of the last time i did this, System confirm no other signatures"

"Where is he?"

"Let's shoot him through the wall"

I grabbed Luxus, turned his safety off and aimed then...
