Reign Of Worm 22 Void Worm

I see… black. Pitch black. It's completely dark. What happened? How did I get here? Who am I? I don't remember much at all. I- was a worm? I was living, I think. But what happened?

What? This is… the system? The one I used as a worm? I truly don't remember much. Or feel all that much of anything, that is to say, I actually can't at all. I don't feel, I'm confused. Sensory deprivation? Or lack of humane consciousness? Perhaps. It doesn't really matter anyway.

I suppose I should do something. Right now I'm just floating around, or I get the sense that I am anyway. I'm not motivated to change that either. Compared to my memories, or past or whatever, it's actually quite peaceful. No fighting, no emotional trauma, no complex thinking, it seems like an upgrade. At least I'm not forced to think, I should clarify. I still do, if only to keep some sense of my previous self. But let me get back on topic.

I say I should so something. Under more observation, my conscious is being pulled to do something, or remember something. It's a weird feeling. I could -and am tempted to I might add- just continue as I currently am. However, under my old presence's best interest I should probably investigate, even if halfheartedly, not that I have much of a concept of that.

Finally Jeremy! You always take way too long to get to the point. It gets so mind-numbing that sometimes I consider changing my choices. Anyway, let's go ahead and see what to upgrade.

First of all, we have to change the base species. The earthworm is way too basic for my future plans. Hmmm, this is surprisingly hard. There aren't that many choices to pick from considering the base species. G.o.d, this sucks. Fine, I'll go with Void Worm. It's better than nothing, if not my original intention. I guess I'll have to wait until next time to truly give it an upgrade. For now, the void will allow for more versatile pathing, which will have to suffice.

Next I get to do body parts. Half a meter worm? Pathetic, let's go for three meters long and three-quarters of a meter thick. That's definitely more like it. Then let's go for longer mandibles and I'll go ahead and make them thicker as well. Teeth will be lessened, there are way to many teeth in that little mouth right now. Seventy-five percent should suffice. Coultente bristles are a must, the current ones are way too weak. I'll also go ahead and double muscle density for an overall improvement in strength. I'll also give a small buff to intelligence. It is pretty high already though.

A core is a must, I literally asked for it. Hmmm. Pure core or Void core? Let's make it a pure core with a void organ for conversion. Let's also change that heat-sensing gland to void gland and heat sense to void sense. This may disorient, but I reason that it'll avoid more confusion in the future. Heat sense is truly versatile, but it has many more limitations than void. That about sums up all of my intended changes.
