Elementalist: Time Controllers 34 Ch. 34 'Reminiscence'

"Kazu. Pull your sword back. Do you want outsiders to know your ident.i.ty?" said the man again in a commanding tone. "Your energy has spread everywhere. Pull back before your energy comes out of our clan's territory."

Kazuto tried desperately to hold back his rage. He tried to quell his anger when he saw the triumphant smile on Tora's face.

Kazuto closed his eyes to not let Tora provoked him furthermore than this. He stored back his sword and immediately moved from there before shapes.h.i.+ft into his wolf form.

"Tora. I need to talk to you." Said the man firmly and did not want to get a 'no'.

"Tsk..." Tora did not want to deal with the current clan leader. His leader can beat him to death with no effort hence he always tried to avoid him every time he had a chance.

Tora laughed inwardly. It was Kazuto who could defeat him with no effort, but instead he was more afraid of this old man.

That's because he knew, Kazuto would never hurt him because he promised to that person.

As for the leader, he had absolutely no burden and he will punish anyone if they violate the rules of the clan without exception. Including the Knight of the Beast.

After mourning for days, Kazuto decided to let it go. He ignored Tora and chose to not care about him.

Currently he sat in the tallest building in the area and reminisced about his time with Ren. He had been with the boy since Ren was a child.

He took care of him, he also trained him in hunting and taught the child various things. But for some reason Tora asked the clan leader to make Ren his a.s.sistant and the request was approved.

Because this was an order from the leader, Kazuto released Ren with a heavy heart. If he knew sooner that Ren could die anytime, he would fight the elder and protect the boy.

Kazuto's reverie came to a sudden halt and he immediately got up and jumped from the top of the building. Once on the ground, he ran to a place.

A bakery shop to be exact.

After his shadow of the wolf beside him disappeared, he entered casually like a normal buyer. As soon as he found who he was looking for, he sat in an empty chair behind a girl.

Niken.

Right now Niken sat there with her back facing his back. The girl was not even aware of his existence.

He remembered the first time he looked at the girl. At that moment he knew immediately, that girl was his inamorata.

At first he was scared to hurt the girl as he thought she was weak. Lucky for him, she was not as weak as he thought. Even though he still couldn't feel the source of the girl's energy, he still happy.
