"What the h.e.l.l happened here?"

I slapped my forehead as I looked at the kitchen. The fruits and vegetables which Jacia, Clarabella, and Daniella bought were all crushed. The three of them rubbed their necks nervously as mud covered their faces and clothes. Jacia then answered.

"When we came back from the marketplace, our carriage got stuck in a mud patch. This caused the carriage to tilt and the produce fell to the ground. We had managed to make a group effort and pick this up."

I sighed. This had got to be the s.h.i.+tiest day of my life. I breathed in and out calmly. The best thing to do now is make food rations out of this. I walked over and picked up a pot. The maids, cooks, and my crew watched me in awe as I started pounding the produce.

"Miss Mila! What are you doing?"

I looked at my crew and said.

"Due to this occurring we are not going to waste the produce. We will be making pouches or servings of mashed fruit and vegetable. It will be both nutritious and a.s.sure the unlikelihood of hunger."

I remembered this technique from a video out by NASA describing how astronauts made their meals. The cooks then started to join in as we mashed the produce and placed them into jars. Jacia chuckled.

"I knew that you were crazy but not this much Mila."

"Jacia! Go take a bath and wash off that mud!"

Jacia nodded as she, Clarabella, and Daniella left the kitchen. Josh and Ash sat on two chairs watching me, the maids, and the cooks mash. I swept away the piece of produce from my hair and threw an apple at Josh. He cried out as it hit his forehead. Ash laughed until a pear hit his cheek.

"What the f.u.c.k are you two doing sitting down! Come here and mash with us!"

"But it's too tiring!"

The two of them said unanimously. My hands shook with rage. I walked over to them and held their collars.

"If you two don't want to join in mas.h.i.+ng then I will make you mash. Do you understand?"

Ash and Josh gulped as they nodded.

"Aye, aye captain!"

"Good!"

When I released them they immediately got pots and started mas.h.i.+ng. We continued to mash the produce well into the night. After finis.h.i.+ng the kitchen crew and I sat on the ground exhausted. I had a cold towel covering my eyes as my arms burned. f.u.c.k. That s.h.i.+t took away all my energy. I wonder if the others completed their tasks.

"Miss Mila!"

I turned to see a worried Clark come in.

"You need to come now! There's something wrong with Mister Baron."

My heart fell to my toes as I ran out of the kitchen. I closed my eyes as I followed Clark. Baron you f.u.c.king idiot, what did you do?
