Lei Xinyi sat on the Breakfast Table while everybody in the Lu family was stealing glances at her. It was making her cringe with everything that was going on.

It's been almost a week since Li Yaun's lost control in the car.

Lei Xinyi didn't go to his office to have lunch or drove in his car. She ate in the lunchroom or her driver brought her take-outs from exquisite hotels and restaurants.

When the Lu's asked about the change she simply said they were giving each other s.p.a.ce but even a blind could see the spilled milk all over the canvas of their lives.

Thank G.o.d that they did understand when someone didn't want to talk about things and n.o.body asked her about it again.

She would often see Lu Han and Lu Sheng giving her pleasing looks. They were content would be an understatement.

But whatever it was she wasn't going to be the first to cave in, her pride wouldn't allow it!

She may not be some super-rich b*tch but she had dignity. She wasn't going to roam around him like some sl*t when he had disrespected her like that!

When the fear and anxiety washed off the only emotion that lingered was rage. How dare he manhandled her?! How dare he said all those things to her?!

She didn't owe him sh*t it was his fiance fortune that she ran in time to be spared of the temperamental maniac.

She was growing frustrated and angrier by each pa.s.sing day. He should have been apologizing to her or trying to convince her but instead the son of a b*tch was avoiding her like he didn't know she existed.

She was angry that she missed his small gestures of leaving pecks on her face, picking and dropping her off work, putting food on her plate.

To put a cherry on there were also rumors going on of Li Yaun and Su Qianwei in the office.

She knew for a fact they weren't totally baseless. She wasn't stupid. She knew there can only be dews when there is rain.

She excused herself from the table and walked to the door, where the driver was waiting for her.

"Lu Xinyi! Stop!"

Lei Xinyi heard someone calling her in a high pitched voice only to turn to see Madam Lu running toward her.

"I have somewhere to be, could you give me a ride?" Madam Lu asked her with her regal smile.

There was no place she could be in a hurry to be at this early hour of the day but Lei Xinyi didn't catch her but nodded and gave her s.p.a.ce to move first in the car.

Once the car hit the road Madam Lu turned the part.i.tion on. They maintained silence and calm in the car, n.o.body spoke anything just looked at the pa.s.sing scenery.

"I heard the rumors."

Lei Xinyi knew she was talking about Li Yaun and Su Qianwei. She visited him every day at lunch with take-outs and they ate together.

Lei Xinyi knew she shouldn't be having this relations.h.i.+p talks with her as she wasn't even the real fiance but for the sake of conversation she decided to humor her.

Lei Xinyi gave a grimacing smile, "Nothing skips your ears. Huh?"

Madam Lu smiled then sighed, "You fought with him?"

Lei Xinyi let out a dry sarcastic chuckle, �����No, I just tried to dodge and he did all the fighting."

"So, the disagreement between you...is it about that Su wench?"

Lei Xinyi thought about how Su Qianwei was a root of all the problems she was having.

First because she snitched to the Yu's she had to leave Yi Ynag's loft, causing her to be kidnapped by the Lu's.

Then when things were calming she comes to barge in her life and send her to the stupid mission where Li Yaun see her, not to mention how she was wh*ring around now with someone's else fiance.

"Yes, it's all that wh*re fault."

Madam Lu shook her head and chuckled, "Xinyi, you are wiser than this. She was his ex-fiance far before your engagement. Li Yuan himself rejected her.

She is by no means a threat to you. She may be burning a flame for him in her heart but she is basically something he got tired of and tugged away."

OK! She didn't know they were engaged once too.

Lei Xinyi looked at her incredulously, "That woman wears s.l.u.tty dresses to meet him! She stays with him for hours locked in his office! Have you seen the woman?! Huh! No threat?!"

Madam scoffed loudly in a very unladylike manner.

"Xinyi, she isn't a threat! You are making her a threat. You are helping her with this! First by being envied of her you brought Li Yuan attention to her and then you gave her a free ground on your man! So, yes it's you who had made her a threat!"

Lei Xinyi didn't say a word after that but shut her mouth. She had nothing to say.

Su Qianwei had always had a way to manipulate her. She was always a compet.i.tion. Her whole life she had tried to best her.

So Yeah it was her that made her this important she is today!
