Lei Xinyi did her seat belt. Li Yaun settled in the Driver seat. They were heading to this 'special place' that Li Yaun won't tell her about.

Surprisingly, Li Yaun liked driving everywhere himself.

He told her he even did illegal racing back in the years which made Lei Xinyi think if he could get any more hotter.

Lei Xinyi was excited yet nervous. Whatever the place they were heading to must be one h.e.l.l of a place for Li Yaun to have that grin he was screening.

But she could wait for it to come.

Though Su Qianwei presence didn't surprise her as she was rumored to have come here every day from the day they fought, which totally made her suspicious but it's the unsettling vibes that she was giving that bothered her.

The vixen was really up to something, she could tell by her reaction. Her presence irked her like never before!

She was becoming a qualified pet-peeve! Annoying!

And that brought a thought in her mind. Lei Xinyi bit her lower lip and glanced at Li Yuan.

"Su Qianwei and you..." Lei xinyi said in a hesitant voice.

She wanted to know where that witch stood with him or being more precise where he stood with her.

Li Yuan grinned at her at her question then shook his head.

"Are friends. And to ease your heart a.s.sistant Ji was present every time we had lunch together. You can inquire him later."

Lei Xinyi felt an unexpected ease in her heart. There was nothing going on between them.

At once a thought struck her. Why did she care?

Lei Xinyi shook her head lightly. No, she only cared because the woman was crazy psycho and would definitely feast on Li Yuan liver on their wedding night so she was just saving him!

Satisfied with the explanation Lei Xinyi leaned to his side and rested her head on his shoulder and draped her hands around his arm.

She liked his touch. It calmed her.

It made her feel protected and only when she was with him, she didn't feel the void she usually felt in her heart.

Li Yuan chuckled, "Touchy much?"

She looked up at him and smiled, a serene smile, "Mom and Dad missed you."

Li Yaun smirked looking at the road.

"And who else did?"

Lei Xinyi pretended to think, "Lu Han missed you terribly too."

Li Yuan chuckled in pure amus.e.m.e.nt, and muttered, "I doubt he did." He quickly glanced at her, "Did my sweetheart miss me?"

Lei Xinyi smiled at his playful tone then rubbed her chin as if contemplating, "Ummm... Yeah, she did but little bit, very little."

"Lucky me."

Li Yuan laughed at her antics but a sociopath could also tell he was happy.

Lei Xinyi took a deep breath. A week away from him was tiring, draining.

She kept playing their argument in her mind the whole week, thinking of different scenarios where she would have dealt with it better and they wouldn't be in this predicament.

Thinking of the predicament she remembered the cause of discord between them.

Craning her neck to see his reaction she licked her lower lip, a thing she did when she was nervous.

"So... Are we good?"

Li Yaun looked at her and a look pa.s.sed between them. A consensual agreement to not speak about the things that could ruin the moment.

"Yeah, we are good," then gave her a short glance and smirked, "That is unless you wanna do something... bad."

Lei Xinyi rolled her eyes but the corner of her lips tugged upward.

"Oh please! Spare me the pg-18 stuff."

Li Yaun chuckled at her reddening cheeks that he saw when they stopped at the traffic light.

"You don't look like you won't appreciate it if I didn't."

Lei Xinyi scoffed, "Aren't you too full of yourself?"

"I really don't know how I can be full of myself but I know a way you can be full of me."

Lei Xinyi hid her head in his chest while she hit his arm.

She could swear she would look like a tomato by the flaming in her cheeks she felt.

Li Yaun chuckled at her being embarra.s.sed for being shy.

The car came to a halt at the same time.
