He drove past signs and red lights without even taking them into consideration. It wasn't like anyone was putting a ticket on him in the city he owned.

He was racing fast on the roads as if trying to compete the flowing breeze. So he would reach her faster than it.

The night was silent, yet louder to some than it had ever been like even it could see the tell-tale signs. 

He was emitting a murderous aura and all his senses were dulled. He hardly felt the rush of harsh air he was piercing or the splitting headache he was enduring. 

Mortification and betrayal were louder than Troy's war call today.

He felt humiliation at being made a joke, humiliation by being played, humiliation for trying to protect a woman who was the threat herself!

The first-degree betrayal stung worse than a fifth-degree skin-burn. He was f*cking dancing on the rug on her wimps and she pulled the rug when he expected the least.

He was f*cking high on ecstasy and this was a waking call! 

His knuckles tightened on the steering wheel and so did his footing on the accelerator.

He really didn't need any more clarification, proof or investigation. The widening of eyes, settling of fear and recognition on his 'real' fiance face as she held Yu Youhan arm for support was enough punch to his guts.

Not because his fiance was snogging a man in front of him but because the girl fit the perfect description of his 'fiance'. The golden-brown hair. The innocent brighter eyes that couldn't be mistaken for grey, unlike 'her' eyes.

It was hard to swallow the fact without chocking and digesting was another ch.o.r.e that he was f*cking faking a baby for the safety of a woman who was probably a Madusa in disguise. Wors.h.i.+pped by the d.a.m.ned.

The irony was that he was going to marry the woman who might as well be planning his funeral and mortgage decoration theme!

He needed a hard drink and lots of cigarettes but more desperately than that he needed answers and explanations.

He was really not an antagonizer but he would definitely be going to show the hard-brick woman what he was made of. He had heard many things about the madwoman and her endeavours.

He hardly took nine minutes to reach across the city to his home but what came in his view drove him mad to some celestial levels. He clenched his jaw in anger.

One of his favourite mansion in the continent, fronts were blasted to bits. If he doubted the girl being the devil's descendant before now his doubts combusted in the air.

He was wis.h.i.+ng that it was all a mistake or a misunderstanding even as pathetic it sounded he wished she was framed or forced but it didn't look the case!

He really was curious to see how it was done. His security was ranked internationally. He had everything custom-made to 100 % efficiency in self-reliance.

In the silence after the storm had pa.s.sed, everyone's attention was attained by Li Yuan tires screeching sound and his servants and Butler ran to him.

He parked the car in front of that ruins and got out of the car. 

They stood in a straight line as a stick-queue except for the Butler who stood a step forward. They bowed in respect and stood with their left hands holding their right wrist and their heads bowed.

He indicated the Butler to come forward and report.

The Butler cleaned the sweat that was pilling on his forehead and wasn't caused by perspiration, "Young Master, a rocket launcher." 

His aura turned murderous and lethal with intent. It was impossible to be on distance this close to his area without being detected in this area. n.o.body except them had weapons in this part of the area.

He took a gulp and continued, "It was from a high private property. We are still investigating but our CCTV's around the area didn't notice a thing. It was shot on the area with protected bots. No life is thr..."

"Where is Lei Xinyi?" He wasn't beating around the bush but hearing it leave his own lips. .h.i.t him like a brick.

He wasn't running from it anymore. Her name though sounded unfamiliar on his lips but it didn't sound wrong. In a twisted way, it felt right.

"Yo...Young Master, she is probably abducted, we can't fin..."

He threw his head back and a sarcastic laugh left him, there was no humour in it. In the silent night who heard it, it's sinisterness seeped in their hearts like shock waves. Though suppressed everyone could feel his rage and it was rare.

Their Master was never really enraged. He had always been nonchalant or cool about everything even if it was a dire situation.

 How expected! The woman sure lived up to her reputation.

"She fled!" He sneered. Took a deep breath and gritted his teeth to control his rage, "Send the best troops! I want her here before the sun rises!"

It was at that time the guys cars' reached there because they weren't driving in insane speeds. They had heard his last sentence.

His staff dispersed in all direction and Li Yuan eyes sharply turned to the still on light of the room she was in with him. Then the open corridor by the threshold where she kissed him and told him she missed him then even promised to wait for him.

He clenched his fist tight in rage. He really didn't know how to comprehend the situation. The sinister woman he had only heard of, was living under his roof, sleeping in his bed and arms from days.

Yu Jian and Ji Zhou got out of their cars while Yu w.a.n.g and Jiang Cheng sat looking defeated at the ruins left by her retreat. Like a storm, she was, she inflicted destruction and left.

They all looked at Li Yuan with pa.s.sive looks but didn't say a word. It was better this way, for everybody.

Yu w.a.n.g and Jiang Cheng gave each other knowing looks. They knew Lei Xinyi just well as they knew Li Yuan.

He shouldn't chase her nor should she return to him. 

They were toxic to each other! They procrastinate a stark contrast to each other but they were both destructive in their own volatile way.

Lei Xinyi would never return past her wish nor will Li Yuan rest without having her on her knees.

It was obvious... only one of them will live past this.
