Yu Chang's eyes fluttered open sluggishly. He vaguely recalled a wonderful dream of a pair of stunningly beautiful legs wrapping around his body, Glancing around, he realized he had no idea where he was. He was in an unfamiliar bed in a dark room. As his eyes adjusted to the darkness, his gaze fell upon a pair of legs he recognized. They were precisely the pair of perfect legs he had just dreamed about. Following the pair of legs that were casually stretched out on the couch, he saw something that was almost too perfect. The lovely face of the woman who owned that pair of legs, drool had oozed out of her mouth in her sleep with her head propped up on the armrest of the couch. The real shocker was he recognized the face. In fact, anyone who hadn't been in seclusion for the last 25 years or so would. The face belonged to the super cultivation genius, the level eight Falling Star. She had never joined a sect, or taken a disciple, though the lines for both could wrap around the world a couple times over. Even still, she had reached level eight before her 25th year. She was much different than the anomaly known as Yu Chang, who at the age of 18 still hadn't broken into level one.

"What is lady Falling Star doing here?"

Just then Falling Star woke up, rubbing her eyes. "Ah! Little Yu is awake?"

"You know who I am lady Falling Star?"

"Eh he he," Falling Star laughed. "I had to get your id when I checked you into the hospital."

Cold sweat dripped down Yu Chang's face… "Why am I in the hospital?" He had to force the words out in his nervousness.

"There was a mishap a few days ago… I may have accidentally crushed you while going shopping. Don't fret though! Your body has fully recovered!" Falling Star gave him a cheesy thumbs up that looked even sillier considering that she hadn't wiped away the drool on her face yet.

"Well, at least I recovered," Yu Chang chuckled nervously. "By the way, you may want to wipe your mouth…"

"Eh?" Falling Star touched her mouth and immediately turned bright crimson. Scrubbing her mouth and chin furiously with the back of her hand, she glared at Yu Chang. "You will delete that from your memory, or I may have to just crush you again."

If you don't seek death you won't die. These words sprang up unbidden in Yu Chang's head. "Done! I've already forgotten, no need to crush me!" Yu Chang stumbled on the words as he pushed them out as fast as he could.

"Good! Speaking of secrets, your's is safe. Unless you want others to know, n.o.body besides myself and those who examined you knows."

"My… secret?" Yu Chang asked confused.

"Your ordinary situation," Falling Start retorted while emphasizing the word ordinary.

"Ah ha ha," Yu Chang laughed hollowly. "Busted, huh?"

"Yep," Falling Star said and stuck her tongue out at him. "Right, now on to serious matters. You're probably wondering why I bothered to stay here for the last few days waiting for you to wake up."

"I mean the thought did cross my mind…"

"I have a question to ask you. Do you want to be a cultivator?"

The two just stared at each other for a long time after she finished.

"What?"

Falling Star sighed. "Did I knock you stupid when I crushed you?" She asked the question again pausing after each word, "Do. You. Want. To. Be. A. Cultivator?"

"I heard what you said, I just don't understand why you're asking."

"I'm asking because I want to take you on as my disciple."

"But you always turn down all potential disciples."

"Let's just say I have high standards," Falling Star explained.

"Then… Why choose me?"

"I snooped through your bag earlier and saw your books and schedule. You've been trying to breakthrough on your own this whole time haven't you?"

"Ah?" It was Yu Chang's turn to turn completely crimson. After all, there was something truly embarra.s.sing in his bag other than his self-study materials.

Seeing the crimson face of Yu Chang, Falling Star stretched her hand out towards the table beside the couch. A devilish grin was plastered on her lovely face. "I also found something quite amusing," she said as a book floated towards her hand.

Yu Chang wished he had died. The book in Falling Star's hand was a sc.r.a.pbook he created. This sc.r.a.pbook compiled every piece of public information on Falling Star, as well as a handful of pictures. I really, really, really want to die right now, he thought.

"This is thoroughly compiled," Falling Star mused. "I'm rather impressed. It's unfortunate that you don't have many quality pictures in here. I'll make you a deal, become my disciple and I'll let you keep this. In fact, I may even help you add to it."

"Eh? You're not angry?"

"Angry? Why would I be angry about having fans? Especially one who can put together such a fine quality memorial of my life. However, refuse my offer and I will keep this for myself. So, what do you say? A once and a lifetime chance to become the only disciple of the person you admire."

"I'll do it Master Star!" Yu Chang sprang out of bed excitedly, forgetting that he had been hospitalized for several days. Suddenly a cold chill caressed his body.

"Oh!" Falling Star beamed as she took out her phone and snapped a picture.

Yu Chang looked down puzzled. "Eh, where are my clothes?" At this moment, Yu Chang was stark naked.
