He was tall, young, and handsome. His ash-gray brown hair was beautiful and his icy blue eyes were ones that could capture the heart of many women.
Before the apocalypse, he was a legendary figure whose name resounded the city. After graduating, he was immediately put to work in the Primo Corp.
Others might argue nepotism but he was able to quickly rise through the ranks and became a Director, taking control of many areas of businesses of the Primo Corp. Some of these tasks were the management of real estate branches, restaurants, and other areas of marketing.
The many doubts about his ability vanished as soon as he rose to this position. This was because of the areas he was in charge of saw in unreal growth and improvement. Under the lead of Winter, the Primo Corp. rose to a new high. It was without a doubt that he would be the one to succeed his father, becoming the CEO of Primo Corp.
However, the apocalypse struck. The success of the Primo Corp. was the furthest thing from everyone's mind and once again, Winter Primo proved everyone wrong. He was amongst the first to awaken his ability.
With this, he was able to quickly gather a party and proceeded to clear out the monsters that spilled into the city.
Winter's actions showed the ambitions of the Primo household. While everyone was in a panic, they were able to gather most of the people who awakened their ability through the use of food and other material goods.
As such, the majority of the city's defense was actually not from the military, but from a single man. It was as though the apocalypse did not affect the Primo family at all, but rather brought them to a new level.
At this moment, Winter was training in the training area at the Primo mansion. Over his head, he could see a small plane approaching.
He knew that his brother had arrived. Winter splashed his sweaty face with water and made his way out.
Back to Spring-Autumn.
"Where is this?" Rainmist coughed and asked.
The plane they had just landed crashed into the ground and black smoke was rising from it.
Spring-Autumn wiped his face with his special cloak and said, "This is the place I grew up in,"
There was an unfamiliar expression of somberness on his face. The usual Spring-Autumn was someone who was always relaxed and smiling. It was hard to be his usual self back at home.
There was a sound of footsteps in the distance and a man appeared.
Just like Spring-Autumn, he was tall and handsome. But most importantly was the resemblance in their facial features. If anyone saw these two together, they would be able to tell that they were brothers.
The main difference between them was the color of their eyes. Spring-Autumn had bright green eyes that were like the most precious gem of nature. His brother, Winter Primo had icy blue eyes that were like the depth of the ocean.
Winter quickly approached them with a smiling face. He was dressed in a loose training robe that showed off his streamlined muscles.
"You've made it back safely." He said.
"Not what you expected, I don't think," Spring-Autumn said with a slight smirk.
"How aggressive," Winter commented before moving his eyes to Rainmist. "And she is?"
"One of my people,"
"Hmm, I see." Winter moved on to the plane. "It's ruined,"
With his comments done, Winter turned around. "I guess I have more good news to tell the old man now,"
Winter came and left like the wind. From the short interaction, one could see how close they were as members of the same family.
Their only relation is the fact that they were half-brothers.
Spring-Autumn was in a bad mood. He was tired from piloting a piece of metal and then he had to talk to that guy. He grabbed Rainmist's hand and felt a little better. "Let's go"
An interaction between Spring-Autumn who was in a bad mood and Rainmist who was in a deep state of sorrow was not something that happened very often.
"Your brother?"
"You could say that,"
"You don't need to see anyone else?"
"There's no one else,"
Rainmist understood what Spring-Autumn meant by this so she held his hand tighter. Family had a different meaning person to person.
For her, it was everything. She lost her husband early so she focused all her love on her daughter who grew up to be magnificent. Now… her daughter was lost too. She felt empty inside.
The pair walked around the mansion and there was a small house.
The house was not locked and they were able to enter easily. It was modern in design with s.p.a.cious s.p.a.ce for a single person.
There was a bedroom, a kitchen, a bathroom, a living room. It was not cramped by any means but it was hard to fathom why Spring-Autumn had a separate house for himself when his family lived in such a large mansion.
The house was not dusty and it was evident that someone had been regularly cleaning it.
Rainmist didn't understand the whole picture but she understood more just from entering the house. She couldn't hold it in anymore and hugged Spring-Autumn tightly.
Spring-Autumn didn't say anything but he felt his heart warm up. If someone were to ask him for the reason why he came to this place, he would not be able to answer.
The only thing he could say was that his heart led him here.
