A Wizard's Romance 3 Vladella

The dungeon was located under the castle.The mighty wizard was walking inside the dungeons, ignoring all the howlings of beasts and goblins. Actually the dungeons only had two minor level wizards. The security inside was top notch without the needs of guards because every beast inside the dungeon was aware that they would never be able to escape. Leave about escaping the castle they would never be able to escape the front gate of the dungeon because there were several arrays inside the dungeons which could trap them as well as kill the, moreover the front gate has a s.h.i.+eld which can only be crossed by Arthur, Vladis and those two minor wizards. Those two wizards were only there for providing food to them and for cleaning the dungeon, Arthur loves cleanliness and wanted everything around him to be clean.

Every beast inside the dungeons started s.h.i.+vering and whimpering frantically when they saw Arthur inside the dungeon. For them he was not a lazy wizard but grim reaper. Arthur had never used physical torture on any of them but his physic torture compared with his spells were more than outstanding,it was such sheer torture that the enemy wished nothing else but death. Rustling and clanking of the chain could be heard and almost every one of them was chanting pleas and were asking forgiveness for their sins. They all were fully aware that the wizard and his friend were one of the people who don't know how to spiel mercy so they wished nothing but to hide in the darkness of dungeons.

Vladis, the wizard's right-hand man although looks easy-going and was very frail to look but appearances can be deceptive and if you are with the sorcerers then it was a rule to never believe in appearances.

Vladis sigh when he sees the expressions of the beastly creatures and ponders himself that all these mighty creatures who are caught inside the cell were all the sorcerer's level beast. They were hard to capture and some of them were celestial level beast ,they were someone not to be trifled with.. It was shocking to him that these celestial beasts would attack the Reinstle empire. They never had any animosities with them. He had never been a person who fights unnecessarily and has always warned Arthur too.No matter how tempting it seems to catch celestial beasts there were always prices to pay. He had a gut feeling that something behind the shadows was going on and it was not the first time he was feeling in such a way . This was a gut feeling which he had since childhood and most of the time it was acuurate..

Nor wanting to think more about it he made his mind to first solve the problems which were on his plate and with that he tossed all his gut feelings at the back of his mind.

Arthur paced inside the dungeon as if he was walking in the garden and soon his footsteps stopped in front of a particular cell. The cell was the only exception inside his dungeon with five arrays around the cell. The lock of the cell was heavily guarded with various strong spells and with two amulets. Needless to say , a horrific person lives inside the cell. Inside the cell there was women sitting on a lotus position on the cold floor. She had her eyes closed and she was murmuring something in a foreign language. she was wearing a ragged grey color gown with her long black waist-length hairs covering her shoulders. She had devilish features with a fair complexion, all in all she was an evil beauty, the beauty which can't be resisted. When Arthur stopped in front of her cell she opened her eyes and gave a light chuckle.

Oh, my dear boy you finally came to meet me, you know how many aunt missed you. You should at least come here once a month for a visit, see how old I have become.Is this the way you treat elderly people she sweetly asked him.

Arthur smiled lazily, Greetings aunt Vladella. I am sorry you had to wait for me but you very well know how much ha.s.sle is there to rule a kingdom, after all being a legendary wizard and lord is a tough task to handle. There is always danger lurking in the dark, right aunt, he said with a smirk.

Seeing Arthur's smile Vladella was captivated for a few seconds but on seeing his dark midnight eyes she regained her composure. The hatred was evident in her eyes. It was a dangerous scene and Vladis became a bit scared because behind those sweet talks were great animosities.He was well aware of the misfortune which took place years ago when they were merely five years old. This beautiful lady who looks like a harmless and dainty woman was actually a powerful witch. In reality she was an old woman but due to her powers she maintained her appearance. Arthur had enough of this woman and so he directly asked what was going inside his mind.

Are you the one behind the bad omens which are befalling on us in recent months.

Oh boy you highly overestimate me.You have sealed my powers,in this condition I am as good as a

nothing.I can't perform any spells and you know it very well so how am I supposed to do anything, she tilted her head and gave a smile to him which was like a provocation.

Very well then, it seems like you really can't do anything while he has ceased your powers ,Vladis spoke.

You really are something Vladella If you try to do anything then I will kill you , Vladis sweetly said while making a dramatic scene of slitting the throat with his dagger.

I know it too that You can easily do it, right Arthur , she sweetly replied.

True….Arthur spoke and turned her face to Vladis who gave him a silly nod.

With that she closed her eyes and started chanting foreign mantras. Suddenly one of the beasts roared inside the dungeon and lunged toward Arthur but before he could attack Vladis had already attacked the beast and cut him in half with his sword but he got a deep cut on his wrist due to beast sharp teeth. Arthur helped the Vladis and asked him to have a visit to the infirmary and with that they all departed from dungeons.

After they all left tears suddenly trickled from Vladella's eyes which were closed. n.o.body knows why she was crying ,it was as if her heart was tearing apart. Her expressions were of pain and it was not an act ,it was true pain. She was suffering and gritting her teeth. It was as if she was coping with the after-effects of some deadly spell. Indeed she was preparing for something. Something cruel, ominous, inhuman, and maybe barbaric too.

Unknown to everyone there was a grey cat who was blended in the darkness. He took every action and emotion of Vladella and after he made sure that there was nothing more to it, he vanished into thin air.
