"Come in. Itsuki, you have a visitor." Amelia finished the vase and then it started to rain outside.

Itsuki jumped up and ran to the door as his father's voice sounded in the room. "Papa! I had so much fun. I am glad that you got some sleep." 

"Oh? Is that so? What did you do?" Subaru stepped in and lifted up Itsuki in a big bear hug.

"It's a secret!! But just know that I had a lot of fun Papa." Itsuki hugged him back happily. He hugged Subaru and smiled happily. 

"Well that is okay. As long as you had fun my son. I could not hope for more." Subaru looked at Gabriel and then at the girl that was standing next to Gabriel. 

"Amelia, this gentleman is the reason that I was able to return back home to you so fast. His name is Subaru." Gabriel introduced Amelia to Subaru. 

"It is a pleasure to meet you Subaru. Thank you for helping out Gabriel. It really means a lot to me." She bowed and then looked at Subaru.

"Honestly I would do it all over again. Gabriel is not a slacker and works fast. He also gave me a helping hand and is going to be teaching me how to improve my medicine making skills. So there is no reason for thanking me. I am after all getting something out of this." Subaru scratches his head embarra.s.sed. 

"But it does not change the fact that you were the one to help him get home faster. So that is what I am thanking you for." Amelia misled and held onto Gabriel's sleeve. 

Gabriel turned and hugged Amelia. "This is the love of my life. The girl I was telling you about while I was helping you with the herbs."

"She is lovely Gabriel. I think that you found yourself a lovely bride. She is very considerate. This is the one you needed that root for?" Subaru smiled and watched the couple. 

"Yes, that is correct. She is the one that needs that medicine. I will do everything that I can to teach you how to become faster as a thank you for helping me out." Gabriel let go of Amelia and then there was another knock at the door. 

Miyuki opens the door. "I have been told that it is now time for dinner. So if everyone would please follow me." 

Sara held out her hand to Mayumi and watched as the girl raced to her side. "I hope that you will like what is for dinner." 

"I will eat anything. It is not good to be picky!" Mayumi followed Sara smiling and walking like a proper young lady. 

Subaru and Itsuki left the room and followed Miyuki. Gabriel held out his arm for Amelia and watched as she took it. "I know where we are going so we can take a little extra time. How are you feeling?" He leaned his head over and touched his forehead to hers.

"I am okay. I am bouncing back fast but I am a little weak. I think the walk up the hill wore me out. How are you doing? You carried me down the hill." Amelia was blus.h.i.+ng from his actions. 

Gabriel led her out of the room then headed to the tea ceremony room. "It takes a lot more than that to wear me out. I am worried that since I need to go out tomorrow that you will be unwell and not make it into town."

"I will make sure that I bring all the medicine with me. That way it will ease your mind. I want to come with you and I know on Sat.u.r.days Sunday you will have to go to the hospital. I do not want to get in the way so I will stay home." Amelia followed him closely. 

"On Sat.u.r.day I will meet you at the marriage meeting place. I will not allow you to go to that alone now that I am back. I will come and meet you there but I do need to stop at the hospital and settle Subaru in at the hospital. I will teach him a recipe. He can practice the two that I show him." Gabriel glances and looks at her eyes.

"Okay I would like that very much." Amelia nodded her head smiling happily. "Oh, but what will I wear to the meeting? I don't know if my family has anything prepared." 

"Do not fret there is something that you can wear. I will take care of everything for you." Gabriel patted her hand and led her into the room and he looked down at Kazuki who looked ready to bolt at any moment. 

Amelia sees her parents and beams happily at them. "Good evening, Mother Edna. I am sorry that we are a little late." 

"Nonsense. There is no such thing as you being late my dear. You had things that you had to do so there is no way that I would get mad at you. Come and sit over at the seat that is open to the back. I wanted to be against the wall in case you felt weak. I will not get mad at you if you lean against the wall. I know that you are recovering from your illness." Edna nods her head at Gabriel. 

Kazuki keeps eyeing the door. And glancing at his wife. "It's ummm, good to meet you. I am Kazuki, Gabriel's older brother." He bows to Amelia.

"It is a pleasure to meet you Kazuki." Amelia bows her head and then is led to the back by Gabriel. He helps her sit down. 

Gabriel sits next to Amelia and pats her on the leg. He leans over and whispers in her ear. "Father might show you an unsightly side of him. Do not think differently of him. He has not quite been very happy with the fact that Kazuki disappeared." 

Amelia brought her lips to his ear. "It's okay I do not mind. Father Clarence went through a rough time."
