Sachi ate her sweets one at a time slowly but not as slow as Amelia. "So have you thought of an engagement gift for Gabriel yet?" 

"I have. I have been working on a handkerchief. I am embroidering it slowly each day but I think that tonight or tomorrow I might be able to finish it. Is there something that you two would like to do this evening other than homework?" Amelia eats the next bite while blus.h.i.+ng.

"I want to see your embroidery work! Please, Amelia, you cannot drop that on us and not show us your work of art!" Ami jumps up and moves to Amelia's side giving her the puppy dog eyes. 

"Ami, before that you need to finish the embroidery homework. That a.s.signment is due in the morning and that is one of the reasons you wanted to come here." Sachi deals a killing blow and watches as Ami withers and becomes a sad puppy.

"Embroidery homework? Is that different from the one that I handed in?" Amelia takes another bite then feeds a bit to Ami. 

"You spoil the girl too much which is why she admits the tardiness at the last moment. I think you already handed in the a.s.signment. It was the embroidery, one of the six picture a.s.signments." Sachi pulls out the page and shows Amelia. 

"Oh, yes that one. I was not able to settle on just one so I did all of them. I handed in last week as I wasn't sure if I would fall sick again or not. Sensei's face was pretty startled when I handed in all the designs. I do not know what the next a.s.signment is going to be. Do you think that she included it in the package?" Amelia feeds another bit to Ami and watches as the girl eats it happily. "You can have the rest, on the condition that you finish your embroidery project with no complaints." 

Ami's eyes got big and she nods her head. "I will do it! I will get it all done but I am not sure if I will be able to not complain but I will try my best!" She sits there waiting for the rest of the wagas.h.i.+. 

"Amelia, you are like a beast tamer. I swear this girl only really listens to you." Sachi looks at the look on Ami's face and starts laughing.

"If I am a wild beast that you are a sly fox as I can never guess what is on your mind and it is never an easy thing to try and figure out." Ami takes the wagas.h.i.+ and retreats back to her spot.

Amelia giggles and slowly gets up. She walks to the stack of a.s.signments and picks up the embroidery work as well and slowly comes back to the table where she places everything down. She lifts up the handkerchief and shows the two girls. "What do you think?" 

Sachi looks at the pattern and falls in love with it. "This is very lovely. I can not believe that you have only been working on this for a few days." 

Ami looks at it and sighs. "I am going to fail my a.s.signment. Amelia, why are you so good at this? Wait, do not actually answer my rhetorical question. Instead, answer how far you two have gotten." 

"AMI! I cannot believe you!" Sachi blushes and picks up the pillow next to her and throws in at Ami. 

Amelia sits there for a moment blus.h.i.+ng before she turns to Ami and covers her face. "How can you ask such an indecent question. I only got together with Gabriel." 

Ami wiggles her eyebrows. "Something tells me that you have done something naughty." 

Sachi stands up and hits Ami on the head. "Stop it with your indecent mind. Can't you tell that you are going to cause Amelia to have another attack? That is not okay you fool. Maybe we should be hounding you about your marriage partner?" 

"Ehhhhhh, but there is nothing to tell. I have gone to three meetings with him and I do not mind his company, all things considered. I also want to hear about your marriage meeting Sachi!" Ami tries to turn the tables.

"The man that Father has chosen is a very respectful man. I do not know if we will get together yet. I am still deciding and feeling him out. I will be meeting him again on our own this weekend." Sachi grabs her bag and sits down pulling out the a.s.signments that needed to be done. 

"It sounds like you both have fond good matches. I am happy for both of you. As for Gabriel, he witnessed me having an attack. If that did not scare him off then I don't think that anything will." Amelia set aside the embroidery and flipped through the a.s.signment and pulled out the second one. "It looks like we will have a practical exam on embroidery skills. It says here that the exam will be this Friday. I will not be there for this but I know you both will be surprised." 

"Nooooooooo, I don't want to. I will never be able to pa.s.s the exam at the rate." Ami finally grabs her bag and pulls out the a.s.signment that she was working on. "I mean just look at this!"

Amelia looks at the embroidery work and looks at the work. "This is not all that bad. There are some areas that need some work. I am sure that you can do it. If you st.i.tch over this way it'll change that way it looks but it will cover up your mistake. "

Sachi smiles sweetly and watches as Amelia teaches Ami and helps her fix the disaster of a project. "It is too bad that you do not have the urge to be a teacher. You would be so good at it." 

"I swear that only Amelia would be able to help guide me with my terrible embroidery work. I will try my best on the exam on Friday. I promise but what about you? You are not going to be able to take the exam." Ami looks at Amelia concerned.
