Caesar's carriage soon reached the castle guards. Their pristine armor matched the immaculate walls, and the suns glare seemed to be reflected. Western styled swords hung at their waists, threatening the visitors and residents alike.

A taller man approached Caesar. He possessed squinted eyes and a very rough face. He held his helmet under his right arm and the hilt of his blade in his left hand. "State your business and deliver your identification." the man said routinely.

Caesar flashed his royal identification and smiled, "I am the representative of Rahvin kingdom. We were invited to your crown princes wedding. Thus, we have arrived as asked." Caesar replied eloquently.

The guard inspected the identification for a few moments. Uneasiness a.s.saulted the poor man as the corner of his lips twitched, "I truly apologize, however, I had never heard of Rahvin kingdom before, nor were we briefed of your eventual arrival." the man stated curtly and signaled for the other guards to allow pa.s.sage.

No warrior was willing to insult those of a royal family, even if their kingdom wasn't very well-known. Who knew when a crouching tiger would suddenly appear, thus, the guard did not even hesitate to allow Caesar entry—even if a rowdy dwarf was sitting beside him.

The six white steeds were controlled by Caesar to enter the kingdom slowly. They pa.s.sed by a thick, steel gate and a few dozen more guards on their way. As they rode along the stone path, they finally pa.s.sed by the castle gates, officially entering Limbo kingdom.

The checkered ground and colossal statues greeted them as they entered. Hundreds of merchants, knights, royals, and even pedestrians were busy shopping. The enormous statues showed excellent masonry and gave off a very imposing aura.

On the other hand, the bustling streets showcased the vast population of Limbo kingdom. Dozens of conversations and haggling were taking place, causing the surroundings to be quite loud and unruly.

Jow surveyed the new terrain with stars in his eyes—he was mainly observing the huge taverns. In contrast, Joanna and Richard were relatively calm; after all, they were adventurers. Caesar, too, was calm. Even the ma.s.sive population of Limbo kingdom couldn't even compare to the bustling streets of New York City in his past life.

As such, Caesar was unfazed by Limbo kingdom as he led the carriage to a nearby tavern. The brick building was laid on a solid foundation, and a beautiful tarp draped across the entrance. Caesar tied the horses and carriage onto a nearby stake and entered with Joe, leaving the other two behind.

Right as they entered, the smell of steamed food and ale entered their nose. A rather thick woman was busy serving the customers inside of the tavern. Huge portions of food rested on the platter she carried with one hand, invoking glee from the patrons.

Even joe's stomach rumbled in protest as he stared incredulously at the delectable looking meals. Caesar, however, didn't pay him much mind as he walked to the counter, gesturing for the inn-keeper.

The thick woman, of course, noticed his figure, thus, once she was finished serving the customer that she was attending to, she headed toward Caesar with a sway in her hips. A wide smile was hung on her lips as she winked playfully.

"Welcome to the famous Peninsula Tavern, young man!" she said energetically and patted both Joe and Caesar on the shoulders. It would appear that she was quite friendly and not at all racist to those who belonged to another race.

Caesar returned her greeting with a nod of his head, "how much for two rooms, my other guests will be sleeping in the carriage, so you need not worry about them," Caesar explained truthfully, to which surprise flashed within the inn-keepers eyes for a moment.

"That would be four gold pieces to stay one night, of course, breakfast is including," her words trailed off as she tapped her chin, "but for you, in particular, I'll supply you with the fanciest room we have available… it suits a man of your stature."

Caesar didn't mind her blatant flirting and flipped four gold coins into her hands, "thank you, darling… but, no thank you. I'll settle with a standard room." Caesar responded curtly and headed up the stairs, subtly s.n.a.t.c.hing a pair of keys from her counter.

The inn-keeper didn't mind his rude behavior and merely continued serving the customers. At the side, Joe couldn't keep his eyes off the inn-keepers firm behind and large bosom. A small trail of saliva even escaped from his thick lips.

Caesar rolled his eyes and slapped Joe on the back of the head, "stop staring, you perverted dwarf, you're making us look like fools," Caesar said jestfully as they finally reached their room. Joe glared hatefully at Caesar, "Hmph, not everyone has a beauty waiting for them at home...It is my duty to make my clan flourish once again!" Joe replied wistfully.

An awkward silence ensued after Joe's words and they soon reached their respective rooms. They were both full of comfortable furniture and beds—rather simple rooms. A dresser and bathroom were present, but nothing too out of the ordinary.

Caesar placed some of his things on a nearby night-stand and changed his sweat filled clothes. He now adorned a somewhat simplistic outfit; a set of s.h.i.+n-high boots, gloves, and a fancy b.u.t.ton-up s.h.i.+rt with rolled up sleeves.

He then made sure to brush his hair and only exit the room once he was cleansed. Naturally, Joe waited for him with his back perched up against a wall. They had a tactic understanding—complete their business and leave.

Caesar stretched his neck and squinted his eyes, a dangerous aura escaping from his body. "I suppose it's time to meet the royals here… I wonder how they will react?" he whispered through m.u.f.fled laughter, forgetting about the two adventurers in the carriage.
