"Jacob have been kneeling in front of that person's grave for a week now, young master."

"Oh and since no one came for us. It seems that he didn't rat us out," a man with an imposing aura, but has this devilish bad one as well, replied.

He has brown hair and black eyes and he has some resemblance to Timothy and Xander.

This person wearing a black suit and was currently sitting on his chair like a king was none other than, Glenn Price.

He was currently the vice president of the main company of Price Empire. The company that watched over both the hospitals and malls they own.

He was also a handsome man at the age of 28, a year older than Timothy.

"How weak, how truly weak. They actually didn't realize that everything was planned from the get go."

He stood up and walked to the floor to ceiling window of the office before looking down at the busy street below.

"Ashton Wright was someone who are both amazing and terrifying. I felt that when I went up against him for the first time."

It was a billing over a plot of land, the Price planned for it to have a mall while the Wright wanted it to have a hotel.

And this billing was a small one so it was given to him and his opponent was Ashton. Someone who was three years younger than him.

That day he actually lost, something he'll never forget.

And that day, his attention were placed on Ashton. He won't let this person grow any further. He would crash him multiple times in order for him not to grow.

When he found out about the weapon company that they were starting he had Jacob Barbers infiltrate it.

It was also his idea for Carl to die.

He will never forget it, how Ashton lost all his reasoning over what had happened to Madison, that is why he knew that Ashton must lose more important people to him.

This way he will not become stronger and will remain where he should have always been, below him. Below Glenn Price.

"You seemed happy," he heard a melodic voice.

"Madison, what are you doing here?" he exclaimed with a smile.

Madison was after all his bride to be so knocking on the office door or announcing her arrival was something no longer needed.

"Can't I be here?" Madison asked and acted hurt over his question.

"Of course not, why can't you be here?"

Glenn signalled the a.s.sistant to leave, as he guided Madison to the couch in the office.

"So why do you look so happy?" she asked again after settling down.

"Nothing special, by the way how was the preparation? I'm sorry I can barely help you," he replied as he cup her cheeks.

"No it is fine. I know that you are very busy right now. Plus you always call me and keeping yourself updated," Madison replied with a smile.

"You know what? I have been thinking. I would like to invite Ashton Wright to our wedding."

Madison furrowed her brows as a hint of anger appeared in her beautiful face.

What she had experience in that person's hands will be something she'll never forgive. Up to now, she still has no memory of her time spent after leaving her father.

"Don't look like that, I wanted to show him. That you are officially mine and that he won't be able to do anything to you anymore."

Glenn was laughing inside, he wanted to torture Ashton even more.

If he would go, he will watch the man who tortured his beloved marry him instead.

If he don't go, everyone would think that he would still do something in the future, tarnis.h.i.+ng his image even more.

After coaxing her more, Madison finally relented and allowed him to invite Ashton.

Sweat drip down the side of her face as she evade another punch. She squat down and made a spin kick.

But to no avail as she was instead pulled up and back thrown on the mat.

Panting she stood up, "One more time."

Ashton shrugged and beckoned her to start.

Amber have asked him to spar with her in martial arts, she was very much well aware of the fact that she actually didn't have that much strength.

That one time with the kidnapper was plainly because she was numb of pain. And so she would attack as strong as she wants without caring for the damage on her body.

But now that her numbness are slowly disappearing, she needs to become even better at it in order to, at the very least, protect herself at crucial moments.

Her agility was already good enough, that was her strength when it comes to bare hand fighting.

Her strength was her weakness because of her sickness in the past that she really couldn't go all out.

They had been going on for three hours since the others left.

"We should end it here for now, we can go at it again tomorrow," Ashton finally said after bringing her down for the nth time.

Amber's face showed unwillingness, this is one of her greatest weakness, she was good with knives and guns but with hand to hand combat, she was actually just so-so.

"I never thought you would actually be this weak, I thought you were quite strong when you hit those kidnappers back then. Who would have thought you actually relied on your numbness?"

Amber glared at him, he didn't have to rub it in.

"Isn't that why I am training right now?"

She stood up and walked out of the gym that was on the bas.e.m.e.nt before going straight to her room.

That's when she received a call on her green phone.

Realization hit her as she slap her own forehead.

'I actually forgot to send the papers.'

"You're calling? Could it be that that girl actually forgot to send those important papers? Please be at ease I shall make her go right this instant."

Without waiting she instantly spoke right after answering.

"Oh, I thought I would have to wait till I'm old before I'd receive it. Or should I bail them out instead?"

Amber scoffed, "Threatening me now? Do you think you are the only one who has connections to the police? How deep could our connections be I wonder?"

"Was yours stronger? Or mine? I admit that this part is our mistake but everyone deserves justice. I never thought you would let lose a murderer."

Luis Cooper had no retort, his threat actually implies what she had just said after all.

"I might go after you if you continue this kind of things, don't go and be the next Price."

Without waiting for any reply she dropped the call and got changed.

"I need to send out the papers I had Mario sign, could you help me with it?" she knocked at the master's bedroom and asked Ashton.

He was just about to go to the bathroom.

"I'll have Cedric send it, I think this part is something for him to do."

Amber nodded and pa.s.sed him the envelope before going back to her room and decided to just leave everything to him.

Her already bad mood, dampened even more after hearing what Luis Cooper have just said.

She had sent him all the evidences as well but he still dared to threaten her into bailing Mario Barbers and his family out.

'How infuriating.'

She took out a few daggers and faced the board that was already in the room. She started throwing the knives on the board trying to release her frustration.

Luis was staring at his phone, 'Don't go and be the next Price.'

Her words reverberated in his mind, what does she mean by that?

Was she talking about how Price empire deal with things? Or is she talking about something else.

Something like her going against Price Empire and their Empire next if he made the wrong choice?

"Just who could you be?"

He can hear the deeper threat in her voice after he threatened her regarding Mario Barbers.

Luis couldn't help but laugh, "Why do I feel like the Price Empire is coming to a great change?"

Something about that person's voice is making him excited. All these years the rivalry was there but there was also barriers.

As if all five of them were also trying their bests not to go against each other, as if trying to avoid a war.

It was an hour later that he received the envelope. He was also shock to see that the one who delivered it was the brother of the last person Jacob have killed.

Cedric didn't speak and just gave it to him in his office before bowing as goodbye.

Luis didn't know what to feel, he had just used Mario Barbers as a threat but in the end he was sent with a clear message.

'Don't try to bend the laws, I was able to get justice for his brother. Don't ever think I won't get justice for the others as well.'
