"Be very careful, Gino mentioned the presence of a shaman among the goblins in this forest."
Stuck in his brown leather outfit too tight, the blond young man with a beginner's bow, whose first mission it is, nods his head silently.
In her large red dress matching her leather shoes, the young female magician with brown hair and large green eyes also wants to confirm that she understood, when suddenly...

...something hard hits her forehead.
"Ugh! Jean, we're under attack."
Jean, the tall brown man raises his sword to shoulder height. He listens, looks around, but not a blade of gra.s.s moves.
The young Branco shakes so much that he is unable to place his arrow on the string of his bow. Covered in sweat, the boy, who joined the adventurers' guild only to earn an income, feels the urge to cry rising.

However, how could she concentrate when projectiles land on her face every three seconds?
Jean can't miss the fact that her young and so pretty comrade is the main target of their attacker. To protect the one who already has a big red mark in the middle of her forehead, he stands in front of her and raises his sword even higher.
"Gina, don't worry, as long as I'm here no one will not be able damage your s.e.xy body."

The young woman glances obliquely at the tall man who's a little embarra.s.sed, scratches his nose.
It is true that this attack came from another direction, but this is the extent of the usefulness of this man who is stronger in words than in deeds?
"Jean, where is Branco?"
"Oh, the kid hid behind a tree."
Gina may only be 21, but she's been in the business five years, so she can focus quickly. Forgetting the mature man who only thinks about take her clothes off, she takes a deep breath to calm down.
Gina has been through numerous hard fights each more perilous than the next. She has faced situations of which she never thought she would come back alive, so when one of the projectiles is about to hit her again, she manages to dodge it by taking a small step to the side.
The small projectile finishes its race not far from the beautiful young woman. Metal ball? A small, badly cut arrow? All Gina has to do is bend over to determine what kind of weapon it is.
"A walnut?"
What kind of creature could fight by using the walnut toss?
This forest is mostly inhabited by the goblins. Gina knows that these green beings are known to be stupid, but would they be idiots enough to attack them with these fruits? No, it's not so sure.
However, this is awkward. If it's not the goblins, who is it? Squirrels? If those cute little beasts started to attack adventurers as well, there's no doubt that the job would become really difficult.
Seeing Gina wondering what kind of creature might attacking her and seeing her puzzled expression, the little girl, hidden behind the high branches of a huge walnut tree, can no longer contain her laughter.
"Fufufu, Gina is too ridiculous. Fufufu, my stomach hurts so bad."
The beautiful young woman, still contemplating the walnut not a second ago, angrily clutches the fruit in her hand.
That little mocking laugh that comes from the top of that huge walnut tree, she knows it all too well.
This same demonic little laugh, she's heard it for the first time when she returned this delicate mission which consisted of gathering medicinal herbs. This perilous mission, she had effected in extremely dangerous places where danger was watching his every misstep.
Remembering perfectly that cursed day, Gina is still enraged.
...
She only looked away for a second to render her mission, but it was enough for the demon to commit its crime. On the counter, in place of her precious harvest, was half an already mummified goblin's ear.
She remembers how much she cried a the next morning, when after this meeting during her breakfast and which ruined her slim hopes of finding her precious herbs.
That morning, a very pretty little girl came to serve her an herbal tea with such a special taste, which, in the words of the adorable child, was supposed to cheer her up.
The adorable child smiled so much that she couldn't hide her two adorable little canines, and although this herbal tea was an abomination, to please this adorable child, Gina drank the whole bowl that proposed by the one the young woman thought was an angel.
When the little angel left the noisy dining room, a burst of laughter came from the stairs. At first Gina was a little surprised. But when she heard this cute little voice, her low morale lifted a little and she could only smile.
Attracted by the scent of the teapot still on the table, his friend Alvin, an adventurer and expert in herbs and mushrooms, sat down in front of her and asked her if he could taste her tea with its special scent.
The sentence then that came out of her friend's mouth was no different of a violent sword stroke penetrating her heart.
"I didn't know you were so rich, Gina. Genevilliere, Maryvo, Great Mint of Volcanoes,... Since when can you afford herbs like that for the sole purpose of prepare you such lousy herbal tea?"
The pretty young woman collapsed as she looked at the teapot that her friend was almost sticking right under her nose.
As if put to death in face of the vision of the black water where floated the herbs and branches from her three weeks of picking, her spirit flirted with madness.
For this mission, she had slept in the rain. Her white skin was now so tanned that Gina didn't even dare to look at herself in the mirror.
She had fought many battles against beasts that jealously protected some of these herbs and the mark on her left wrist that would never go away was there to remind her of this.
So much pain to see her precious treasure floating in a teapot?
Mad with rage and pain, the pretty Gina ran up the stairs. In search of this tiny demon, she grabbed many collars belonging to many adventurers.
That's how she learned the terrible truth about the ident.i.ty of the child. This devil is none other than the little darling of the guild master of adventurers in this Griven guild.
"Hera, evil demon, come down from your tree and measure yourself against me if you have the courage."
