Max who was dormant all this while, lightened up in an instant.

All the children had left when I reached the kindergarten. I saw Allen looking at Callen worried that his parents were not coming. How easy it was to figure her out I thought.

'I would be picking up Callen' I said. She looked fl.u.s.tered before she spoke 'Callen come here…. you're….Ummm dad has come'. I could see Callen happily hopping towards me, but Allen had a puzzled expression.

'he's my G.o.dson' I said and she looked amused as if I had just answered her doubt.

'dad I want to go to an ice cream shop' Callen said giving a baby face. I didn't know what to say. Then an idea popped into my head ' why don't you ask your teacher to join us' I said looking at her eagerly.

'I'm good, you guys should go, my brother will be here any minute' she said, rather than being disappointed I was heartbroken that she rejected our first date.

'how about tomorrow? I will ask my brother and let you know' she said and that just lit up my day. I was happy and now I could also make date plans.

'can I have your number' I asked sparing every moment I had to make her come closer to me.

' I'm sorry, I don't have a mobile phone, hmm…you can call our home telephone though' she said giving me the number, as long as her brother doesn't pick up the call, I'm fine.

'Bye Callen, Bye sir' she said leaving us behind. I wanted her to be here and never leave us. Max was also against the idea of letting her go.

'Well you got yourself a date tomorrow, you should treat me for it' Callen said giving me the 'look'. 'when did you become so naughty' I smiled tickling him in the sides.

I Left Callen with mom and went back to the council chambers. As I entered the room I could tell all of them had cleaned the place well….that it sparkled.

'So have we come to an Agreement' I asked and everyone said 'YES' in unison.

'we'll do it this way, each fighter in the pack will be given 10 children to be taken care of, he will report everything that happens, even the slightest suspicion to the head. Each head member will be a.s.signed to give updates to the main pack head who inturn will report to the Beta and Alpha of the pack. As for the kidnappings, all the pack members will send 10 of their best trackers and warriors who will be appointed in this operation called BLACK. They will report all the matters to me.

They have the liberty to either work from their pack or stay here. This will allow for a collective pool of information and give better possibilities to catch the culprit. The last one is to increase the guards in the night who go on patrol.'

'ANY QUESTIONS?' I asked and they all stayed quiet. No one dared to interfere as they all never had a plan to begin with.

'you can give me the list of candidates who will be coming in, by the end of the day'.

'lunch is ready, come down after sorting out the matters here' I said and all the Alphas just lit up. My mom makes the best food and most of the members come just to try it. I know it sounds cliche but we are all like one big family. We all knew each other since young, this was to allow a closer bonding amongst the Alphas and to not let them go in war which anyways happens regardless of whose close.

'sit down, I'll tell you' I said defeated. I glared at my mom who was sitting there amused by our idiotic conversation. ' don't look at me, I'm just eating' and she continued smiling.

' her name is Allen and she works here as a kindergarten teacher. She is beautiful and kind just like a small furball. She gets shy easily and her cheeks become red whenever I go close to her, her smell makes my insanity calm down. she is beautiful in and out. I loo...' that's when I realized how long I was talking about her and I was about to let them know my feelings without even telling her.

How stupid could I be? When I looked at those two I knew this wasn't going to end with a small dinner.

'I'm full, I'll be leaving' I said and left to my room to make preparations for my date plan tomorrow.

It was 10 pm by the time I had finished all the pack matters. I went to her house in my wolf form as Max was still not able to talk to her. He finds peace knowing that he can listen to her heartbeat.
