Who in the world would be as crazy as that girl? He was still p.i.s.sed off about it even though it was just minor dent.
"Penny for your thoughts?" Producer Lee said as he was cooking the pork belly.
"Some crazy girl broke my window." He replied while taking a sip of soju.
Producer Lee laughed at the thought. Hyun had always been popular with girls and most of his fans always send gifts. Most of them were normal gifts like teddy bears or flowers but then when he got more popular they started sending him shameless things - s.e.xy lingeries with a strong pa.s.sionate note.
"Impregnate me oppa!" "I want you so bad jagiya!" "Yeobo, I'll make you happy in bed forever!" Those were written on the notes. Their P.A.'s would cringe all the time when a package addressed for Hyun comes.
"So another crazy fan huh? I told you kid, we should host a fan meeting to make it all go away." He smiled foolishly at Hyun knowing that the kid would snicker.
"Aish.. jugulae hyung?" Hyun said as he kept on munching the cooked pork belly. He was chewing like a mad man.
"Slow down kid, stress eating about a window in more crazy." He said to Hyun as he poured soju in his cup.
"It scratched my beloved Steinway." He didn't say it out loud but he kept cursing in his mind. It was a very expensive edition that he had carefully saved up for a year.
When you save up for something yourself, you know the value more than its original price. You remember how you worked hard to get that thing, to finally reward yourself from all the hurdles and the crocodile tears. That's the reason why when we love something so much we end up losing them.
There it is again. That distant feeling that was haunting him. The feeling that says something like "it was more than that". He doesn't know why he couldn't take things too lightly specially the things he truly cared for. Like his forgotten self knew far more than that and felt that never again would he feel that kind of fleeting emptiness.
