The Forgotten Royal 27 Ch. 27

Walking through the crowded city, we finally reached the palace location at the city's heart. It was probably the biggest building along the others here. Stopping at the front door, I inhale deeply and knock the door.

Taking a few steps back to stand next to Dmirty, we both wait in silence. Suddenly, a young woman with bright pink hair, red-pink color of eyes, and light peach colored skin opened the door.

"I wasn't aware that Demande would have visitors." She said with a slight annoyed tone.

"Same goes to him." I answered.

"Oh, well um... does he know you??"

"Does he, Gwenn?"

Gwenn smiles small before opening the door wider and walking away.

"G.o.d, I hate her." I told Dmirty as we both walked into the mansion as a maid closed the door right after.

"I can see that." He answered as he gently patted my head.

Smiling small, I gave him a side glance before looking up at the white haired male who stood in front of us. His crystal colored like eyes glowed slightly with amus.e.m.e.nt. Smiling lightly, he walks up to me and gently takes my hand, placing a small kiss on it.

"It's been a while." I said once he backed up.

"Yes it has, Jewel. Welcome back home." Demande answered.

"I'm not going to stay... again. I just came here for help to find someone."

"Oh, I see. Who is this someone?"

"Kronos Namakazi."

"... He is no longer here. Kronos has been traveling to different dimensions right now. I have an idea what you are really looking for. He isn't the one, Jewel. It's someone else."

"How are you so sure?"

"Because I met him once. He is normally outside the city or wandering around the Royal Clan. If not, for sure he is somewhere on Earth, hidden."

"I see... So, he-"

"No, Jewel. He is not your father. There is no way he could be despite you two having a lot of common things."

"Okay then..."

"In the meantime! How about you two stay the night?? It is pretty late."

"Um-"

"We would be more than happy to accept." Dmirty answered with a small smile.

"Perfect! I'll have a maid get a room fixed for you two."

"Well, um, thank you, Demande." I said with a smile.

"Anytime, Jewel. If you need me, you know where you'll find me." With a small bow, Demande turns around and walks away.
