"There's no need to show anything. I already know what you two are capable of. I won't be falling for that," the G.o.ddess of Life and Death said.

"You!" The Lord of War glared at her. "You'll die at my hands!"

Boom~

Just as the Lord of War was distracted by the G.o.ddess of Life and Death, a body came flying, hitting him in the back.

"Ouch, that hurt."

The G.o.ddess of Water was also sent flying, only to crash on the G.o.d of War.

She got up. "Are you alright?"

"You as well?" G.o.d of War asked, frowning.

"What do you mean even me? Anyway, you guys are wasting time here. Stop doing that and come with me. We need to stop Ja.n.u.s!" the G.o.ddess of Life and Death declared.

"Sigh, are you going to tell her?" The G.o.d of War rubbed his head as he stood up.

"We can't go out. We are trapped here. He Sacrificed his Divinity to place this trap. We can't do anything here," the G.o.d of Flames declares, sighing.

"Huh? Trapped?"

The three G.o.ds were immersed in talking amongst themselves when the G.o.ddess of Life and Death disappeared. She glanced through the window to see how Ja.n.u.s was doing.

She didn't want him to face them alone, but she knew there was no choice. They were here for Ja.n.u.s. She couldn't distract them even if she wanted to. That's why Ja.n.u.s had made her promise that she was going to run away when he was distracting them.

The G.o.ds that were surrounding her palace from all sides had come to the front, leaving the other sides empty. Still, she hadn't run away yet, despite promising Ja.n.u.s.

She wanted to stretch it as long as possible, hoping for Ja.n.u.s's win even when she knew that it was impossible.

Just as she had expected, even though Ja.n.u.s had an explosive start, his weakness was now starting to show. After sending three G.o.ds to his Trap, he was having a hard time now.

He wasn't as untouchable as before. His speed was also slower than earlier in this place.

His lips were bleeding as he was punched by the G.o.d of Beasts, who had taken the shape of a ma.s.sive beast.

"That was a good one," Ja.n.u.s declared as he wiped his lips. He flew towards the G.o.d of Beast, gripping his hammer firmly.

He was really missing his Teleportation at this point. He was at a ma.s.sive disadvantage because of that.

As he reached the G.o.d of Beasts, he raised his hammer high to attack, but he stopped in the middle as he changed the direction to his left.

His hammer blocked the attack of the sword from the G.o.ddess of Destiny; however, this gave the G.o.d of Destiny an opportunity.

He reached out his hand to grab the wrist of Ja.n.u.s from the hand which was holding the hammer.

He caught Ja.n.u.s before Ja.n.u.s could fly back.

Ja.n.u.s had a feeling that he was in a mess now. He couldn't Teleport, and he was caught by the G.o.d of Beasts.

He clenched the fist of his left hand, bringing an Aura Sword out of thin air, which he thrust towards the G.o.d of Beasts to free his hand.

Swish~

Before he could even reach the G.o.d of Beast, a Sword came slas.h.i.+ng.

"Argh!" Ja.n.u.s groaned in pain. His left hand was sliced from the shoulder. It fell down along with the aura sword as he started bleeding.

"We want to catch you alive, but that doesn't mean we can't harm you," the G.o.ddess of Destiny let out, licking her lips.

Her Sword was covered in the blood of Ja.n.u.s.

"Good word," the G.o.d of Beasts laughed. He clenched his fist as he punched the chest of Ja.n.u.s with full strength. His punch broke the ribs of Ja.n.u.s, making him scream even more.

"You traitor! Why are you yelling? Can't bear to take the pain? You can only scheme against us, can't you? Just know, all schemes fail before true strength!" he said proudly.

"All schemes fail before true strength? Remind me again who is trying to catch me because of their scheme to use me to control my brother? And who dares to claim to have true strength in the presence of my brother?" Ja.n.u.s asked, weakling. Blood kept falling off his lips.

"You talk too much. Let me help you keep your mouth shut," the G.o.d of Beasts declared before he punched the face of Ja.n.u.s. Without his complete Divinity, Ja.n.u.s was even weaker against these attacks.

His eyes slowly closed as he lost his consciousness. His body lost all strength as blood kept dropping.

"You take care of him. I'll see why the other three still haven't left the palace," the G.o.ddess of Destiny said before she walked towards the Palace of G.o.ddess of Life and Death. She didn't forget to take a couple of other G.o.ds with her.

The G.o.ddess of Life and Death saw the situation of Ja.n.u.s. There was an urge inside her heart to go and save him, but she knew that she wasn't capable. If she didn't run, she was going to waste the sacrifice of Ja.n.u.s.

Instead, she needed to find Chaos to inform her.

She walked to the back of the Palace and left through there, disappearing into the unknown.

The G.o.ddess of Destiny entered the palace. "There you are! I thought something happened to you!"

"Wait! Don't step closer, or you'll be trapped too!" The G.o.d of War yelled.

"Trap?" The G.o.ddess of Destiny muttered, frowning. She looked down to see the formation.

She was just one step away from stepping on the formation and being trapped herself.

"So that's why you weren't out! That sneaky Ja.n.u.s had placed this trap here. He really thought that he could win with something like this?" She snorted, rolling her eyes.

"Is he caught?" the G.o.d of War asked.

"He's caught, yeah. Just wait a minute; I'll free you."

"No, wait! Leave others to free us! You need to catch the G.o.ddess of Life! She will run away now that her partner is caught! She was just here a little while ago. She shouldn't be far!" G.o.ddess of Flames said.

The G.o.ddess of Destiny listened to him and left in search of the G.o.ddess of Life with her other men. She only left one G.o.d behind to break this trap so the three could join them too.

"Now I show that bi*ch that happens to traitors!" The G.o.d of War declared as he ran after the G.o.ddess of Life and Death as well.

The G.o.d of Flames didn't go there.. Instead, he went to see Ja.n.u.s, their main goal.
