Li Beinian raised her brows and chuckled. “Why do I have to move out of my Grandpa’s place to avoid Mu Xichen?”
“You know he lives right beside you.” Mu Donglin was emotionless. “Why? You are reluctant?”

“You didn’t contact him?” Mu Donglin asked in disbelief. He stared at her, trying to see if she was lying.
However, he could see nothing.
Li Beinian lay back lazily and looked at him as if she was laughing. “Why? You want me to contact him?”
Looking at her expression, Mu Donglin was relieved.
No matter how much he liked this woman, Mu Xichen’s temperament would have stopped him from becoming overly in love.
Somehow, he felt much better.
“That’s great. From now on, I will fetch you after work.”
“Fetch me after work? I’m filming, the timings aren’t fixed.”
“It’s alright.” Mu Donglin was in a good mood. He squinted slightly. “It’s all part of my sincerity.”

The next morning, Li Beinian was greeted with weird looks from the crew when she arrived.
“Sister Nian, what a beautiful flower!” Cheng Su held a stalk of a fiery red rose. “It’s for you!”
Li Beinian flipped around the card. She saw the strong and elegant words written on it.
“Call me after your shoot, I’ll come and fetch you.”
There was no signature, but Li Beinian knew who it was.
A few close crew members saw and started a commotion. “Who is it from?”
“Boyfriend?”
“I think it’s a suitor.”

Li Beinian threw the card away nonchalantly. “What’s the commotion for, hurry up and get changed.”
“She’s shy! Let’s go!”
Cheng Su held onto the rose and asked curiously, “Sister Nian, who is it from?”
“It’s nothing, throw it away.” Li Beinian collected her costume and went into the dressing room.
Li Xueqing heard Li Beinian’s words. She glared at the stalk of rose and said, “What a flirtatious b.u.t.terfly. Which random man is it now?”
She wasn’t loud, but Cheng Su heard it clearly. She shouted at Li Xueqing angrily, “Mind your words!”
Li Xueqing ignored her. She turned around and took her costume and then boomed. “Some people need to learn to rein it in, especially when they are engaged already. If not, things can get very ugly.”
