Chapter 626 The Family Needed to Stay Together

Mo Yichen did know that Qi Changfeng had thought so much. He just saw Qi Changfeng’s evil smile, feeling that this man was really irritating. No wonder Gu Yan didn’t like him. If he was a woman, he would not like Qi Changfeng as well.

Mo Yichen couldn’t help but shake his head. Qi Changfeng knew what Mo Yichen was thinking as he shook his head. However, Qi Changfeng didn’t want to quarrel with him but continue to eat his meal, not speaking anything. He thought a gentleman shouldn’t be talkative.

The two ate in silence.

Gu Yan first delivered food to Li Yunhong as soon as she arrived at the hospital, where she met the doctor was on ward rounds. Gu Yan asked a few questions, and the doctor said that Li Yunhong was ready to be discharged. Li Yunhong didn’t hate Gu Yan as much as she used to do. Therefore, her blood pressure was now at a normal level.

The doctor carefully checked Li Yunhong and confirmed that she was ready to go home.

“After you go home, you should pay attention to your diet. You had better eat something with subtle flavour and keep a good mood. All right, I will make out a list for you later. You can go home today. There is no need to continue the injection.”

The doctor wrote on the medical record while he explained these precautions and told Gu Yan to get the list later from his office.

Gu Yan nodded and thanked the doctor while sending the doctor out of the ward.

Because she didn’t need injections, Li Yunhong got out of bed by herself and went out with the lunch box. Gu Yan knew that she wanted to eat with Mo Xiangyan. Since the doctor had allowed her to go home, she did not have reasons to keep her in the ward. So, she followed Li Yunhong out of the ward.

Although the lunch box was not heavy, Gu Yan still took it from Li Yunhong’s hands. Li Yunhong must have been exhausted these days. She had been lying on the bed every day and had to receive injections. Gu Yan also felt distressed when she saw that. During the hospitalization, Li Yunhong became much older.

The fatigue in Li Yunhong’s eyes couldn’t be hidden. Therefore, Gu Yan knew that Li Yunhong really suffered a lot this time. Gu Yan couldn’t think about it one more time. If her mother was in Li Yunhong’s shoes, she would blame herself too much. Gu Yan understood Mo Yichen’s feelings, so she decided to treat Li Yunhong better.

Li Yunhong felt that the box in her hands was taken away. She froze for a moment and then she smiled. Gu Yan was indeed a thoughtful girl. If she hadn’t taken care of her in the hospital, Mo Yichen would be so busy that he didn’t have time to rest.

At this moment, Li Yunhong finally admitted in her heart that Gu Yan was helpful to Mo Yichen’s work and life. To a certain extent, she was a good helper.

As Li Yunhong thought, she speeded up her steps unconsciously. She was really tired of being trapped in the hospital. Her arms were full of spots all the time. It was the first time since she was born to have so many injections.

She was not young anymore!

Li Yunhong said silently in her heart. A simple disease could send her to the hospital for more than ten days. How could she still be young? Her son was going to marry, and her grandson had grown up. Li Yunhong was scared to be old. But sometimes, only when someone became old could they see something clearly!

Besides, her grandson was so cute. In her opinion, as long as her grandson was healthy, it didn’t matter she got old.

Mo Xiangyan didn’t get any injections either. The doctor had mentioned a few days ago that Mo Xiangyan could go home. However, at that time, Mo Xiangyan yelled that his arms felt painful. Therefore, Gu Yan let him stay in the hospital for a few more days.

But now, looking at Mo Xiangyan who was energetic and could play with one hand, Gu Yan knew that it was the time to leave the hospital. Not only did not Mo Xiangyan yell that he was painful in the past two days but also did not even feel the pain in his arms.

Gu Yan knew that Mo Xiangyan was a child so that he could heal quickly. The doctor had allowed him to go home. Therefore, letting him go home with Li Yunhong would save a lot of trouble.

Now, both of them just needed to go home and rest. It was more convenient for Gu Yan to take care of them when they were together.

As long as Li Yunhong was with Mo Xiangyan, she would be in a good mood. Mo Xiangyan was very close to his grandma. Now, both of them were hungry. Gu Yan hurriedly set the table and then called them over for dinner.

“Well, the dishes are pretty good!” After taking a few mouthfuls of food preparedby Gu Yan, Li Yunhong felt that today’s dishes were different from before. The taste was so delicious that she unconsciously praised it.

“It is Aunt Yan’s work!”

Mo Xiangyan enthusiastically said to Li Yunhong. Gu Yan’s dishes were his favorite. He could taste the dishes from Gu Yan. Now that he had heard Li Yunhong’s praises, he certainly would spare no efforts to strengthen it as if he had cooked the meal himself.

Mo Xiangyan wanted to see Aunt Yan and his grandma get along well. Although his cla.s.smates’ grandma and their mothers also had some conflicts, yet theirs were not as complicated as that between Gu Yan and Li Yunhong.

Alas! He still had to work harder to ease the tension between Aunt Yan and grandma. He couldn’t wait to live with them both. After all, the family needed to stay together, right?

If Gu Yan knew what Mo Xiangyan was thinking, she would definitely scold him for being so quick-witted. As a kid, he did know the things of adults.

Gu Yan didn’t know what Mo Xiangyan was thinking. However, seeing his dark eyes turning around, Gu Yan knew that he was making some bad ideas. Naughty Boy!

Gu Yan stretched out her hand and shook it in front of Mo Xiangyan’s eyes. Mo Xiangyan had finally gotten out of his fantasy.

Mo Xiangyan came back to his senses and saw that both grandma and Aunt Yan were staring at him. He was a little embarra.s.sed as if he had been caught doing something bad.

Feeling both grandma and Aunt Yan were staring at him, Mo Xiangyan laughed awkwardly. After all, he was thinking of something about them.

If Gu Yan didn’t know Mo Xiangyan’s temper, she might think that Mo Xiangyan was uncomfortable. However, this kid was mischievous and Gu Yan had always known it. So, she didn’t say anything but just continued to watch him eat.

Now, Mo Xiangyan finally began to focus on his dishes. Gu Yan’s skill was so fabulous that Mo Xiangyan could eat twice as much as usual.

Watching her grandson eating so much, Li Yunhong’s appet.i.te was also aroused. She also ate a lot more than before.
