"Understood!" The ones who followed him wouldn’t budge at this juncture; they were his loyalists. Outside the council hall were twenty thousand astral G.o.ds standing ready to meet them. They were in combat formation and had nearly a hundred thousand lifebound beasts deployed, all of them burning with fighting spirit.

"Halt! Should you dare to take a single step toward the council hall, we’ll strike to kill!" Lin Chongyao announced from the Phantavoid while keeping an eye out for the appearance of the invader from the foreign world and Tianxi.

"Lin Chongyao, how dare you refuse the right of us council members to enter the council hall?" Lin Yun came out screeching.

"Stop bulls.h.i.+tting. Everyone knows what you’re planning. Don't pretend to be ignorant. If you want to prove your innocence, immediately turn back and don’t return within ten days! If you do that, I’ll kneel before the Myriadsword Mausoleum in apology to you!" Lin Xiong yelled. His words completely sealed the mouths of the other side. Not only that, it drew even more clan members from all directions. They spotted the dissenting council members and their loyal astral G.o.ds from far away.

"The rumors were true!"

"The reformists are losing it!"

"Those animals are actually trying to kill our genius within the council hall! Nothing’s more evil than that! I am ashamed that I bear the same surname as them!"

With more and more people coming their way, it only made it even harder for them to act.

"I made preparations. Just wait a little while." Lin Jie's expression was one of calm and focus, despite being at the center of the controversy.

"The problem is that, even if we do kill that brat, it won’t be ideal and wouldn't look good for us," Lin Yun said with worry. He hadn't expected them to be cornered to this extent at all.

"It's fine. They’ll eventually give in. Pure might is the only justice in this world." Lin Jie turned to the south and smiled.

"f.u.c.k off!" Countless people jeered at them nonstop.

Tianming could clearly see what was going on within the council hall. "Uncle Chongyao, careful! Lin Jie’s going to use his divine astrals.h.i.+p!"

There were only thousands of astral G.o.ds beside Lin Jie. With the defenses around the council hall, there would be no way for them to barge in. But Tianming knew that they wouldn't give up that easily.

When the Judgment came, Lin Jie boarded it and told the other council members, "I’ll pave a way for you guys. Go in and take Lin Feng out. Make sure to behead his wives as well!"

With their divine astrals.h.i.+p deployed, there was truly no turning back. Lin Yun and the others got going.

"Lin Chongyao, based on the laws, you have a right to fight back with the Phantavoid!" Lin Xiong yelled, though it was still a little too late as first blood had already been drawn.

"Yeah!"

Lifebound beasts and beastmasters could scarcely hold back machines of war like astrals.h.i.+ps. Only a divine astrals.h.i.+p could fight back against another. Lin Yun and the others were standing atop the gigantic sword as it tore away at many astral G.o.ds and their beasts that attempted to stop it, shooting toward the defensive formation of the council hall. Blood had been spilled, igniting the rage of all the members of the clan! Lin Jie had no support in the slightest. Once his attempt failed, he would no longer be able to stay in the clan, so he had no choice but to win!

The Phantavoid appeared and blocked the Judgment all of a sudden, resulting in a magnificent clash that created a nova source storm and sent many astral G.o.ds flying from the sheer turbulence. By then, the thousands who were loyal to Lin Jie had joined the fight. In terms of ma.s.s, the Judgment was much larger than the Phantavoid, so it still managed to pierce the sea near the council hall, despite its course having been diverted.
