With Lin Xiaodao reducing the formation’s nova source output in the Inkwell Sea, its defensive formation was now very dependent on the billion ebons. However, they weren’t a stable source. After the skywell seafiend had been bisected, the Kunmo ebons’ hearts had faltered.

The formation being cracked open meant its core had been exposed. The Fiendclaw shot for the core region, intending to break the core and stop the formation from coming back up again.

The Rabblefiend was in the shape of a black shark. It was made of sanctuary ores, and although astrals.h.i.+ps needed countless times as many materials as a cosmic artifact, that was exactly why they had such shocking resilience. The black shark leapt out of the water like an arrow shooting toward the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb, its open maw full of sharp teeth.

Of course, it wasn’t intending to attack the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb. If it got tied down and the Fiendclaw joined in, not even it would be able to extricate itself. Kunmo Yong’s true goal was to save his brothers.
