The five million astral G.o.ds emerged from their s.h.i.+ps, glaring at the denizens of the Sun. While they believed that they were standing on the side of righteousness, they noticed that not a single person among the trillions in the Sky Palace Formation had prostrated themselves. Even as time was running out, they merely glared back at the invaders.

Tianming thought they wouldn't threaten the common folk, but that didn't seem to be the case.

However, every single denizen of the Sun stood in solidarity and merely proudly glared back at the astral G.o.ds, causing them to shut up. They hadn't imagined that their threats wouldn't work in the slightest.

Xiaodao laughed, "Don't even bring up the Code of Infinitum! That's merely a weapon you guys wield, not a standard of justice! We only deal in the truth! The entire SwordG.o.d Lin Clan agreed to fight by your side against the ebons and the foreign invaders, yet you treated us as cannon fodder and broke your oath, leaving trillions of normal folk for dead! The leaders of the regal clans weren't reacting too well to the sight.
