Zhen Yuanbai kept his ears peeled for any movement and his legs slightly stiffened. Until s.h.i.+ Bufan completely became quiet, he then relaxed and went to sleep. Yet, when s.h.i.+ Bufan detected Zhen Yuanbai relaxing, he silently crawled over from the other side and stared at Zhen Yuanbai’s delicate and soft face under the dim light; he suddenly pecked him.

“Good morning.” Zhen Yuanbai dryly responded, pus.h.i.+ng s.h.i.+ Bufan, but was unable to do so. s.h.i.+ Bufan chuckled and hugged Zhen Yuanbai more tightly. His face was forced to be in s.h.i.+ Bufan’s arms and the latter rubbed his chin against Zhen Yuanbai’s soft hair. s.h.i.+ Bufan said softly, “This is a nice bed. Last night, you wanted to kick me a few times, but you weren’t able to do so right?”

Zhen Yuanbai was quite a coward in the morning, but he was very brave at night. Not only did he kick s.h.i.+ Bufan, but he also punched him several times. Thankfully, s.h.i.+ Bufan had hugged him tightly when he fell asleep. But even then, s.h.i.+ Bufan was woken in the middle of the night a few times by Zhen Yuanbai moving around.

After he sat down, he panted heavily and Song Mo who had just gotten breakfast outside and was walking in. When he saw this, he became stunned and then asked, “What’s the matter? There’s a ghost chasing you?”

Zhen Yuanbai laid his head on the desk bitterly.

Zhen Yuanbai continued to lay on his head on the desk and said indifferently, “How am I supposed to know?”

He moved over and pressed his head against Zhen Yuanbai’s forehead, hoa.r.s.ely saying, “You finally noticed. I thought I wasn’t obvious enough.”

Zhen Yuanbai wanted to duck, but it was too late. Zhen Yuanbai felt trapped, enveloped in s.h.i.+ Bufan’s deep gaze and breaths.
