Once they were inside the building, Yuan carefully laid Xiao Hua, who was still unconscious, on the bed.

"So, are you going to tell me about what happened to Xiao Hua, or is this still against 'my' own command?" Yuan looked at Dong Ye, who could only stand there with a bittersweet smile.

"As much as I desire to clarify matters for my liege, I'm afraid I can't divulge any information about her, as it might influence your fate. Nevertheless, if you inquire about it when she awakens and she chooses to reveal it, I'll be in a better position to provide additional details based on the circ.u.mstances," Dong Ye explained.
